On a related note, in the Reborn game I use a Ninetails named Sophia, after the Vulpix who was my waifu partner in Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky (I was a Riolu, but I can see someone's already signed up as one). And since Reborn's story is crazy enough, I just go with the headcannon that she actually IS Sophia. And then I realized. This NEEDS to be the subject of a fanmade Pokemon game! You, after leaving the Pokemon world and becoming human again, meet your partner Pokemon (how exactly said partner got to the human world ties in to whatever the rest of the story is). You can understand him/her when she talks to you, and he/she follows you around outside the Pokeball like in Heartgold/Soulsilver, but only that one Pokemon, so it's more like Pikachu from Yellow version. And talking to said partner actually means he/she TALKS to you, instead of making faces. And about the waifu thing. You should be able to affect what kinda relationship you two have, and if you wanna be weird you can push it in that... direction. Several places, actions, events, items, etc. will add or take away from certain stats in your relationship level, which works similar to Contest stats in Gen 3 but with sentiments, such as understanding, loyalty, common intrests, love, and stuff like that. And the kind of relationship you have by the time you finish the game (you'll be required to have the Partner in your party to access the final boss) determines which ending you get. There could be be dozens of different endings depending on the specific stats of the relationship, maybe one where you turn back into a Pokemon, or where the partner becomes a human. And if you keep all the stats at zero or a low level, it ends in tragedy. Seriously, how does this not exist yet? Or does it exist already and I'm just looking stupid here?

The Field Effect Factory's Latest Product Line!
CURIE replied to Amethyst's topic in News and Announcements
Considering the way the story's been going, the next gym leader is most likley either Ciel or Terra (probably Ciel, since Terra's made out to be the strongest of the 3). Either way, the field effect would be the Big Top. -
The Field Effect Factory's Latest Product Line!
CURIE replied to Amethyst's topic in News and Announcements
Short-circuit is probably Shade's, and factory is probably (but not limited to) the rest of his gym. Still no word about Shelly's gym, I guess you'll show it at episode 13's release? Can't help but notice Earthquake seems to do a lot in a lot of field effects. My shiny Golem was always the "Aquaman" of the team, but maybe not anymore... I love how Discharge both short circuits AND re-energizes the field. I'm gonna have a lot of fun with my Magnezone. And HOLY CRAP THAT TECHNICIAN BOOST. Especially since it's relatively early game... And ESPECIALLY with my Magnezone's discharge. -
Official Super Smash Bros. Thread for Wii U and 3DS

Actually, the leaker said that the DLC characters were fake (Forgot which ones they were exactly), and he made them up to mess with people. -
I can see it just fine, so I'm not sure I can figure it out. Anyone reading this, can you see it as well? EDIT: Think I figured it out, can you see this?
-
Figured it out, thanks for the help! Best part is, the "drag image here" option makes it that I don't have to get an account OR make the image public to everyone! Example: Reborn's Shiny Golem sprite: Well, since I have limited space for those, I'll stick to more important stuff, such as save files for when things go wrong.

So yeah I know how to upload any image I find off the internet, just click the "image" button that's right below the font color changer, and paste the URL (which you get by right clicking the image and selecting "Copy URL"). I can do that much just fine, as you can see: (Bulbapedia's thumbnail pic of my favorite Pokemon) But what I can't seem to find is the URLs of images that I have in my files. Say, pictures and screenshots I've taken myself and never uploaded anywhere on the internet. Is there a way to get the URLs of those kind of images, and if not, how would I be able to post them here?

100% All Natural Homegrown Field Effects
CURIE replied to Amethyst's topic in News and Announcements
Still can't get over Milotic not being in the game So, if I remember correctly, it was this episode that would set the breeding mechanics to Gen 6? If so, that opens up the possibility of IV breeding, but removes the ability to pass down TM moves. Sounds like I'm gonna have to episode 12 next to episode 9 in my archives. -

Official Super Smash Bros. Thread for Wii U and 3DS
CURIE replied to Maelstrom's topic in Gaming General
So the game comes out on 3ds in Japan on September 13th, but will CoroCoro come out before then? Because it might ACTUALLY have the full roster this time (last time they said it would, but it was an outright lie), since the game's about to/already came out. P.S. I love how in the leaked pics, Shulk and Duck Dunt's images have a vastly different art style from the rest of the fighters. Either this leak is obviously fake, or Nintendo did a very lazy and bad job. Considering how Sakurai is with his games, I'd sooner believe it's the former. -
More like Pyrous mountain and Ametrine.

You his have been talking about what the surf theme would be But look in the game's jukebox, there's a theme called "Splash" or something like that, and it sounds really "surf"ey. It's probably that.

Official Super Smash Bros. Thread for Wii U and 3DS
CURIE replied to Maelstrom's topic in Gaming General
The stage itself is the Pokemon Leauge from X and Y, although I don't recognize that statue as a Pokemon. -
Had a thought: if mega Milotic isn't confirmed by then, we'll know for sure whether or not there is one on October 3rd, when Super Smash Bros. comes out for the 3ds. In it, Milotic has a kinda-out-of-place role as a stage hazard in N's Castle. Seriously, the stage hazards there are Reshiram, Zekrom, and... Milotic? If that's not intentionally made to show off a new mega evolution, nothing is. On the other hand, if Milotic DOESN'T mega evolve in that stage, it pretty much ruins her chances of having a mega this generation. EDIT: actually, we'll find out around September 12/13, or the following days, as that's when it releases in Japan.

Official Super Smash Bros. Thread for Wii U and 3DS

Notice that Meta Knight isn't in CoroCoro's "List of everyone in Smash Bros.". That, alongside the "Mega Evolution Scoop" that only had THREE megas (same number as the last issue), makes the magazine look really bad. -
According to Serebii, the Slowbro Trailer was also shown at gamescon. Also, it's Saturday, but STILL no CoroCoro?
-
So umm... When are the new CoroCoro pics? An I remembering wrong or was it supposed to come out today? Even if mega Slowbro and Audino aren't part of it, there's always been some information that the leaks never told us. Not to mention the whole thing about how this month's issue is supposed to contain the full character roster for Super Smash Bros.
-
WELL WHATTAYA KNOW, THERE WERE MORE. Mega Slowbro and Mega Audino (first 5th gen mega!) confirmed. Audino becomes part Fairy type (about time) and gets the ability Healer with a boost to its defenses, and Slowbro's ability becomes Shell Armor, and gets a boost in Defense and Special Attack, supposedly keeping its type. Edit: turns out their reveal was a mistake on Korea's part. So were they supposed to be part of CoroCoro's Mega Evolution Scoop? Are there more in it? Stay tuned to find out, because the August issue should be releasing today...
-
Already been confirmed a while ago. On top of that, it's not even just any Pikachu, but a specific one from a special in-game event, like the Spiky-Eared Pichu from HeartGold and SoulSilver (except this time, you can get it through normal gameplay and not event distribution). Chances are that, like the Spiky-Eared Pichu, it won't be able to evolve or be transferred to Generation 7. Edit: This also means that you guy's dreams of a Volt Tackle-Icicle Crash Pikachu are crushed. Unless they end up having a new way to get Volt Tackle Pikachu... I mean, Gen 3 WAS the generation that introduced the move...
-
This guy's got an interesting theory: Basically, the theory is that, since this "Mega Evolution Scoop" only consisted of three megas, spread across 2 pages, while the last consisted of six, there is possibly (in his opinion, probably) a second page with 3 more megas. It would explain how Altaria's corner doesn't quite fit with the contest corner, and would also explain Milotic's random appearence in the middle of something called "Mega Evolution Scoop". It'd be like, "so you saw our mega Milotic on the other page and want one of your own? Well, here's how you get one in-game"
-
Fourth quadrant revealed: confirmation that you can mega evolve in contests, and confirms that Feebass can once again evolve through contests. Both snippets of info on the same corner of a page? IS THIS A HINT TO MEGA MILOTIC? Seriously, if it doesn't actually happen at this point,it would be a huge letdown. Between the new emphasis on contests, its counterpart Gyrados getting one, its appearence in Super Smash Bros, and now its emphasis in the new magazine issue, ON THE SAME PAGE as the "mega evolution scoop", Nintendo's making it really look like it's gonna happen.
-
FALSE on the shiny post game Beldum thing. It's an event distribution, like the Torchic was when X and Y came out.Anyway, looks like I was right in calling a 4th mega! Hype for whatever it is, cuz it must have been AWESOME, for the leaker to specifically hold it back out of spite!
-
Taking a closer look at the leaked scans, it seems that the mega evolution section had a big circle spanning across 2 pages, and inside it were Swablu, Bagon, and Buneary all divided into quadrants. But there are 4 quadrants in a whole, and we were only shown 3. Could there be a fourth that the leak isn't showing us? Guess we'll find out on the 12th when it actually releases.
-
So the "mega evolution scoop" from this Month's CoroCoro only consisted of 3 new megas: Salamence, Altaria, and Lopunny. Kinda expected it to include all the game's new megas, but since they've still never "revealed" mega Latios/as or the mega whatever-the-bad-guy-bosses-use, there's clearly still more in the game that we haven't been told about. And remember how when X and Y came out, you could download a free Torchic with Blazikenite? Well, with the release of OR/AS, you can get a free SHINY Beldum with Metagrosite. Oh and contests confirmed and character customization confirmed but who cares about that.
