This upcoming Saturday will be the first time in weeks that my game had sunny weather. If you see me around here that day and I haven't already updated my 6 gen mono run log, remind me to get back to work.

Ranked 4,892. That was a close call, mainly due to not having time to practice, or to grind coins after a second attempt. All because of that stupid half-blood Manaphy wannabe.

I've been playing the first Paper Mario, and I really like the whole mechanic with the fortune teller Mervulee. I wish more games would do that. Maybe we can have Reborn do that? The forums kinda make it pointless, but it would really help the untold number of people who play the game but don't use the forums.

At D23 today, Benedict Cumberbatch described next year's "Doctor Strange" movie to be about "Cars, girls, and astral projection into multiple universes". While that's obviously a joke, I hope it isn't implying they'll change the character's personality to be like Tony Stark.

Haven't been able to say it because of the site being down, but I finally found Phion yesterday! Oh but no, my work's not done yet, now I have to level grind it. Apparently, the Garchomp competition uses Phiones as a disruption, so if I want to succeed I need it on my team.

Day 9 of spending all my hearts on the Safari, I've spent somewhere around 300 hearts and still not a single Phione. I have 13 jewles stocked up from various events (no, I didn't pay real money for them) and was saving them for the off chance they could ever be exchanged for mega speedups. But if I still haven't found Phione by the last day, I'll have no choice.

Day 8 of using all my hearts on nothing but the Safari. I've started to wake myself up every 2 hours in the middle of the night, so as to not miss out on hearts while sleeping. So far it hasn't helped me find Phione.

Kinda suprised and dissapointed that we didn't get any events or main stages this week. Not that it matters, because I wouldn't be able to play them anyway, because I'm still stuck on this crappy little safari, looking for that one stupid Pokemon.

Day 7 of spending all my hearts on the Safari. The event's now half over now and I haven't seen a single Phione. There's a very real chance now that I'll never see one, and that my streak of 100%ing the game will be broken. This is the first time since I first started playing where I've been in real danger of missing an event, and unlike last time, no amount of practice, level grinding, or throwing coins at the problem will better my chances...

By the end of today I'll have used over 250 hearts on that one safari stage. According to the Wolfram Alpha statistics calculator, that means I had over a 91% chance of already seeing at least one Phione by now.

Day 6 of the Safari, I still have yet to see a single Phione. I fear that Monday's update will bring new events and even new main stages, but I won't be able to play any of them because I'll be stuck on this one crappy stage, looking for this one stupid Pokemon.

Update 47: PULSE Abra It’s been quite a while since I updated last, hasn’t it? Yeah, that’s mainly because I was busy with college stuff. That, and I was kinda putting it off out of laziness. As for the titular Abra, Dashie’s Nuclear Trump Card wrecked that thing! …Is what I’d be saying, if it wasn’t part Steel type. Oh well, it was worth a shot. Shame, since Dashie was tanking those special moves so well. I switched her out with Braveheart, who managed to get in a Flamethrower before dying to Hyper Beam, and DiggersbyTho finished it off with Bulldoze while it was recharging. And as I predicted, the following cutscene was the same as in any other storyline. Next up is the battle with Noel, which is considered by most to be the second-hardest gym battle in the game. So needless to say, I spent some time grinding everyone up to the level cap. No changes to the movesets this time around, and it looks like that’ll be the norm from now on. As my Pokemon reach the mid to upper 50s, they’ve pretty much already learned all the moves I’m interested in them using, at least through leveling up. Well, that is, aside from one very big and important move that DiggersbyTho will be learning in the near future. I think you can guess what it is. Unfortunately, it’ll be a while before my next update as well. I want to battle Noel in sunny weather, and my game isn’t getting any of that this week.

Day 5 of nothing but grinding the Safari in Shuffle. Still not one Phione. I've killed so many not Phiones by now, that I've grinded back to 99,999 coins and the team I used is all max level. I have no reason to even fight the enemy Pokemon anymore, and now just quit as soon as I see my opponent isn't Phione.

Oh come on. The Garchomp competition's already begun and I can't participate, I'm still stuck on the Safari trying to find just one Phione.

Day 4 of endlessly grinding the Safari. I've encountered 12 Garchomps by this point, so statistically speaking I should have seen two Phiones by now. But nope, not even one.

Day three of using my hearts on nothing but the Safari. I've encountered 4 Garchomps today, totalling to 9 now. But still not one Phione.

I guess since the show is on mid-season hiatus for who knows how long, I should temporarily do away with the ponified avi.

Finally got around to finishing Dream Team. Now I gotta use my emulators to play all the Paper Mario games, and then I'm ready...

Was Banjo Tooie on like, a completley different level from its predecessor? Because my computer runs the first game smoothly but lags like hell when I try the sequel.

Bit of a PSA about the Cressalia event in Shuffle. You remember how when they had the Giratina event, and it gave an extra mega speedup at level 100? But no one could get that far unless they were hackers or had 99,999 coins and willing to spend all of them? Well for this one, you can get all the way to 100 without items. You'll probably need to spend coins on level 100 though.
