I dunno how to feel about Boy Scouts letting girls in now. What I do know is that my former Scoutmaster, who is also my best friend's dad, is not happy about it.

K so, there's already female boy scouts, I've known two personally, they're just unofficial members. Don't get me wrong, making them officially allowed is a change, but it's not as radical as people are making it out to be.
Girl scouts are totally different and to many people rather inferior to boy scouts. Boy scouts are about integrity and camping, girl scouts are about crafts and homemaking. The fact that the boy scouts feel there's enough girls willing to join them over girl scouts to make this change at all shows how significant the differences are.
