That first ladder does not go to where you say it does

It's cause I don't have Flash for the dark regions, and it won't let me surf either when I'm at that spot. It's just so confusing and i can't leave the cavern either.

Can't jump over the ledges and I don't have Escape Ropes.

Stuck as in I can't get repels as Jan said to do, plus I'm not sure if I was supposed to go to the cavern after beating Crawli.

I don't have flash for the dark patches and 0 repels to prevent the wild pokemon.
