  1. Just a bit of advice, I'm going to let you see something special; it's the barebones skeleton of a Priestess SLink character profile I made for my Persona fanfic. This is an example of the bare minimum foundation you need to complete before starting on the groundwork that you need to lay before posting an OOC. Just for reference.
  2. Rein was walking through the corridor, ignoring pretty much everyone and just walking. After Natalie had walked off, Rein had simply returned to class and carried on as per normal. Now, as she walked, she chanced upon Lilith sitting alone on a sleeping bag, a dejected look marking her face. Rein considered for a while. She had declared herself as Lilith's friend... Rein walked up to Lilith and expressionlessly sat beside her, not saying a word.
  3. Plan right now is to compile it on the way. If you want, you can send me a description though (if you don't think I did your character justice.)
  4. Also, just gonna put it out here. I've considered this idea before. Creating and running a Persona-based RP is an immense amount of work. You need to plan out Social Link events for all ranks and all Arcana, You need to plan out boss fights. You need to figure out how to RP dungeon crawling and make it interesting. You need to manage player powerlevels. You need to plan out both the slice-of-life portion of the story and balance it out with the battling portion, such that it's not overshadowed and treated with the same importance. You need to figure out the mechanics of Fusion and Persona evolution. You need to carefully read and review each PC's behavior, backstory and motivations, then you need to do enough research to find out which Persona suits them the best. You can't just pick one for them based on Arcana; the Persona is a parallel reflection of the soul, and it should therefore be unique as such. For instance, in Persona 3, the mc's Persona Orpheus suits him because he escaped from the clutches of death(the accident and resulting explosion from his childhood), sought to bring back others from the brink of death(his crusade to end apathy syndrome) and ultimately turned back to face death, resulting in giving up his life (when he alone stands to confront Nyx). For each PC, you will need to cross-examine their characters' deepest, most iconic aspects and find a Persona to assign them that matches the character. It's not easy. Hence, I would strongly urge you to refrain from starting this RP until you have fleshed out at least a plot and have developed Social Link progression for at least 60% of the characters. I know I've tried it before, and I personally gave up after a month of planning.
  5. Okay so I edited the OP with a list of character profiles, including the appearances that have been described in each person's audition. Let me know if you have anything else distinguishing that you want me to add to their appearance description. Note that there is no need to indicate clothing preference, as being idols means you will be changing your wardrobe a lot. Of course, any distinguishing character items will be made exceptions for. e.g. Kagari's butterfly hairclips and Arya's Zippo.
  6. Well Huk here came up with the classification system, so if he doesn't know how to classify it, I doubt anyone will XD. also Huk pls my tags are way more interesting
  7. Hm. Not sure if I'll be able to make time for this between Idols RP and Life, but I'm certainly interested. Btw, when you say ((perimeter)) in the skill descriptions, do you actually mean "parameter"? Also how strict is weapon choice? Can we use weapons not listed in the OP? Specifically, scarves? I'll just put up my template first, assuming I can use scarves as weapons.
  8. On Rules: Some basic ground rules should be: No bunnying No godmodding Be respectful Vulgarities are okay, but keep it reasonable. No paragraph should be made of more than 10% vulgarities. One instance per 2 sentences is a good guideline Posts should be of a decent length, no one-word or one-sentence posts On Template: Here's what I would put in a template for any RP creation topic. 1) Premise. The basic idea of your RP, key elements, genre, style, level of player freedom 2) World: The base world of your RP: Racial diversity, state of the world. Geography. Laws. Cultural/Religious details. World History (i.e. where have wars been fought by who over what etc.). Inter-racial/inter-national relations/politics 3) Story: The barebones base of the plot for your RP. What happens, who will the characters be, what roles they play in the overall picture etc. 4) Character creation details: Available races/classes/genders/specialties/skills/attacks/powers/magic/weapons 5) Character creation template.
  9. Kagari could not help but agree with the green-haired girl - She had seen her at the audition... Ruri? - about improving oneself. Idols were an inspiration, a dream. More importantly, they brought dreams to others. A girl who could not overcome her own bad habits had no right to lay claim to the title of idol. That said, she refrained from speaking, in the interest of keeping conflict minimal. The other girl - Ringo - introduced herself, in a kind of...sharp? confrontational?... way. She immediately declared her refusal to share a room with the beautiful silver-haired moe girl. Her loss. Kagari wiggled her toes in anticipation. She spoke up in a soft voice, with a small smile: "Hello." She bowed. "I am Koizumi Kagari. Please call me Kagari, if you'd like. I'm still fairly new to dancing and singing, but I really, really love idols. I hope we get along. Please give me the pleasure of your guidance." She bowed again. Then she stood straight up and broke out into an enormous grin. "Let's all work hard and aim to be Top Idol!!!"
  10. Hiss, pyon hasn't intro-ed his character yet, you likely wouldn't know her name. Even if you had heard it over the PA during audition stage, she introduced herself as Star Apple, so you wouldn't be aware of her identity as "Hoshi Ringo".
  11. guys, note that this bit of the RP is meant for self-introductions and developing character interactions through rooming selection. Just a reminder.
  12. I forgot to include it, but there's a patisserie on the same floor as the non-alcoholic bar. Only nutritionally balanced and fat-free confections, though.
  13. I'm planning to name the RP after the unit. So We'll be using a working title up till the point when the idols decide on a unit name.
  14. Oh, for the record, both "Can I really be the Idol?" and "めざして!!Top Idol!!” are working titles. I haven't actually decided on an official title yet.
  15. Kagari had packed light. She knew from her research that idols were provided with almost everything they needed on a day-to-day basis, to facilitate their schedules. As such, she had only packed several personal effects and her favorite outfits, resulting in a small, light suitcase that could be easily carried in one hand. As she took in the beauty and the majesty of the large building in front of her, she noticed one of the other girls - of petite build - looking comically laden with several gigantic, bulging bags of luggage. After looking past the bags, she could not help but notice what beautiful silver hair the girl had, flowing down to her waist. Then her focus shifted to the girl's shockingly violet eyes - a rare colour, indeed. These two elements combined to form a spectacle of beauty - except that the girl was small. As the girl hurriedly set down her bags to receive her ID, the gap between her beautiful appearance and smallish frame, bolstered by her flustered actions, could only be described in one way: Incredibly Moe. Kagari resisted the extremely strong urge to squeal, instead gracefully receiving her own ID. Once Himiko had finished briefing the girls, Kagari followed the girl into the same elevator, watching as she stepped up to the elevator buttons, then stepped back again, looking slightly embarrassed. Between the huge bags of luggage, she had no hands to operate the elevator panel. INCREDIBLY MOE. Suppressing a giggle, Kagari stepped forward lightly and hit the button for the 63rd floor, then stepped back in silence while internally screaming and gushing.
  16. The girls had all gathered outside the Hope Complex. It was a towering megastructure, over eighty floors tall and covered in giant LCD screens showing videos of other idols produced by YUSAPro. It rose straight out of the ground and grew wider towards the top, casting a shadow on the buildings around it. At 246.88 metres, it was the tallest structure in the whole of Kibou City, and its design made it look almost treelike, covering the city in its canopy. Himiko met the new idols outside and showed them in. There, she ushered them to the elevator lobby and presented each of them with a plastic card in a lanyard. "These are your staff IDs. They'll grant you full access to whatever parts of the building you're authorised to be in. As you're new here, that means floors 13 and 31 through 64. Floors 31 through 38 hold practice studios, while floors 39 through 46 are recording studios. Floors 47 through 50 hold indoor sports facilities, such as squash and tennis courts, a pool and an ice skating rink. Floor 51 which is the height of three floors - holds physical training facilities, such as a gym, a meditation room and an indoor 200 metre track. Floors 52 through 54 hold recreational facilities, such as a karaoke room, a game room, a flower garden and a reading room. There is also a bar serving non-alcoholic drinks. The reading room is brought the latest editions of magazines and newspapers on a daily basis. Floors 55 through 59 are the library, which has one of the biggest collections and archives in the world. You are free to go there and do research or casual reading, and may check out all books there. Note that no books are allowed to leave the Hope Complex. Finally, Floors 60 through 64 are the artist dorms. Your dorms are on the 63rd floor. Each room has its own shower and wardrobe, along with the relevant number of beds and a fully working Internet connection. In addition to the showers in each room, there is a communal bathhouse on each dorm floor if you wish to opt for that instead. You have been assigned 3 adjacent rooms: 2 double rooms, and 1 triple room. You may decide how you want to share the rooms on your own. I'll give you the whole day to settle down, unpack, and look around, then come down to the dining hall on Floor 13 for dinner at 6p.m. Himiko took a long breath after finishing her long introduction, then looked at the girls and smiled. Welcome to YUUSHA Productions. We look forward to working with you."
  17. *doki* Seeing aftermath being given that title gives me dokidokis for some reason Also I agree; I find it's generally a bad idea to run more than 1 RP at once. Ask Hukuna for the full horror stories.
  18. Wait. I'll post up the meeting up at hope complex thing in a bit. You can post your characters' personal reflections after. ...Somehow posting the new IC from my phone destroyed my punctuation. OOPS. Fixed.
