  1. Kagari ushered the other 2 girls down the corridor and into the elevator, scanning her ID and hitting the button for 39F. As the elevator rolled down, she tapped her foot on the floor and hummed the tune for "RE@DY? AND CHANGE!!", the audition song. It happened to be one of her favorites, and she knew the tune for it perfectly. The elevator doors opened to reveal another corridor, just as long as the corridor on the dorm level, but each door was not solidly completely opaque; each door was a light beige coloration, with a clear glass window. Throughout the corridor, vibrations could be felt, and very muffled music could be vaguely heard. Kagari ran up to one of the windows and looked in, then gasped. What greeted her was the view of a large dance studio the size of their apartment. One wall of it was completely covered by a mirror, and in it was reflected the image of three females dancing with spirit and vigor, along with a fourth clapping her hands, forming the rhythm. Kagari's eyes widened and she quickly stepped back, hyperventilating. She turned to the other two girls. "Oh. My. God. It's...it's Ryuugyuu Komachi!" ((OOC Note: pre-existing idols from various idol anime/real life out there will be making cameos in this RP. In the universe of this RP, all existing production studios were bought over by YUSAPRO, but YUSAPRO left the day-to-day management and events of the idols to the heads of their respective production studios. Basically, all the takeover did was to give the other production companies access to the Hope Complex's facilities. The base management philosophy and principles of each production agency did not change at all.))
  2. Question: Would there be any interest if I were to start up an anime movie streaming thing once a week or so?

  4. Kagari stood up once Hiroki had finished packing. "Well then, perhaps we could move around and explore the building? I, myself, would like to take a look at the music studios on the 39th floor. I believe it would be wise to see the place we will be working at, up close." She turned around and faced the other two girls. "What do you think, Yukimura-san, Izayoi-san?"
  5. Whooooo 252/721 done

  6. Rein was, for a moment, tempted to just watch as Arya attempted to push the wheelchair with Lilith on it, the strain on her body evident. Fortunately, this temptation soon subsided and was replaced by Rein's conscience. Rein, making use of her small size, ducked down under Arya's arms and popped up in between her and the handlebars of the wheelchair, then grabbed hold of the handles, trying to force Arya's hands off of it. "I push. You walk."
  7. uhhhhh... the dresser as in the table? Or the Wardrobe? Different cultures call it diff things. If table, it's about 90cm by 58cm, affixed lengthwise to the wall in front of a mirror. If wardrobe, about 2m(height) by 3m(width) by 1m (depth)
  8. Kagari wanted to die of embarrassment. Such a simple solution. Naturally, she had thought of it, but had immediately dismissed it as impolite to ask one's hosts for more amenities, especially when the girls were already so well provided for, if the space of the room was any indication. Noting that Lyre had pulled Arya off to the elevator, she shut the door and turned to Ruri. "Well then, Izayoi-san, perhaps we could ask Akayomi-san for a bookshelf later, as Yukimura-san had suggested. For now, at least, we should complete our unpacking." She turned and walked back in to the bedroom, where she picked up her toppled suitcase and started removing her personal effects. She took out a sewing kit and placed it on the table, then walked over to the wardrobe to remove several of the clothes hangers. With gentle fingers, she removed the the Tomoe Mami cosplay outfit and placed it on a hanger, using a piece of string to tie the feather cap to the top of the hanger, then hanged it on the backrest of a nearby chair. Then, she removed the second outfit: a singular, one-piece white dress, with white stockings and white elbow-length gloves. The skirt of the dress was covered in various laces and frills in a criss-crossed pattern, and the upper portion of the dress was done in a medieval Western style, with a low neckline designed to provide a modest-yet-seductive peek of her chest. The oufit also included a white veil, made of silk. All in all, it was reminiscent of a wedding dress, less the bridal train and designed for comfort. For this particular outfit, Kagari carefully placed the main dress on the hanger, then sealed it up in a dress carrier, placing it into the wardrobe. She then folded the gloves and stockings neatly and sealed them in a transparent bag, then carefully placed them into the topmost of the three drawers in the wardrobe. Finally, she packed all her underclothes and casual wear into that same drawer, then closed it and hung the Mami outfit in the wardrobe. Done unpacking, she turned around and sat on the bed, watching the others.
  9. Kagari froze on the spot as Ruri's ahoge drooped. There were very few things Kagari was weak to. Ahoges in distress were one of them. Kagari sent her mind into overdrive. "Well, maybe we could dismantle half of the wardrobe and convert it into a full bookcase, then just use the other half of the wardrobe for its intended purpose. That way there'll be enough space to put at least fifty books, and we can put other things like photos and other personal decorations on top of it. Of course, that'll mean we'll have less space to put our clothes... and as idols, we'll have to maintain a lot of different outfits, so that might be a problem in the future... Do you want to go through with this?"
  10. Kagari tilted her head in thought. "Well... I didn't see a bookshelf in there, but..." Kagari bit her thumb and tapped her feet while thinking, a long-standing habit. "If we shifted out the futon in the wardrobe, we could probably repurpose one of the higher shelves as a bookcase by removing the dividers and re-installing them horizontally in the place where the futon was housed. It won't be able to fit a lot of books, though, maybe... fifteen or so? Would that be sufficient, Izayoi-san?"
  11. Rein tilted her head at Arya's request. The girl certainly seemed in terrible shape. She supposed it wouldn't do any harm to comply. Besides, she was slightly worried about Lilith's condition too. They were friends, after all. The handshake had sealed that. She nodded her head in compliance and handily picked up the unconscious Lilith in both arms in a bridal carry, gently placing her on the wheelchair. Rein might have been of a small build, but she had well-trained muscles and a decent amount of strength, and Lilith was more or less about the same size, which made it easier.
  12. Uhhhh I don't really remember impalement unless you're talking about that flashback scene in StrikerS, but... @Wander just search for "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" on Kissanime or nyaa.se ; there are 3 seasons: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Lyrical Nanoha A's and Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. There's also Lyrical Nanoha ViVid, but that one's a lot less dark and more cute. @Hiss, btw when you say YuYuYu are you referring to Yuuki Yuuna?
  13. To be fair Nanoha isn't that dark. If you ignore the illegal human experimentation/reprogramming/child abuse/cloning/mass destruction/shooting-one's-own-sibling-in-the-eye bits.
  14. When the lights had cut, Rein's eyes had narrowed. Her body had completely tensed up, entering high alert. The eyes were the only observable indication, along with a slight tremor running along her skin as she tensed every muscle in her body. When the lightning struck, she instinctively shielded herself, crossing her arms in front of her. When nothing hit her and the lights came back on, she scanned around the room, noting that Lilith was unconscious on the floor, with another girl - Arya, if her memory served - next to her sporting a burned cheek. She finished up the sandwich - which by this point had finger-shaped indents along its surface from her grip strength - then walked over to the pair. Miss Katherine had, at that point, instructed Arya to help Lilith to the nurse's office, then turned around to ask the class, "Is anyone else hurt?" Rein turned to the teacher and spoke up. "Rein, fine. Can help. Directions?"
  15. Well. Not so much wrong, as nonstandard. WARNING: Wall of text incoming. Generally, while colloquial, nonstandard forms are acceptable and even expected in spoken English, it is generally frowned upon to use nonstandard English in the written form of the language due to the precedence of the communicative principle that forms the basis of language usage. If we consider the key goal of language to be increasing comprehensibility for the reader and imparting information from the source to the receiver, then standard English is generally the more appropriate choice for a written medium open to a range of speakers/language users with differing levels of communicative competence - like this forum - due to the higher level of general comprehensibility. That is to say, a non-native speaker of English or an English as Second Language(ESL) speaker is more likely to be able to read a sentence written in Standard English as opposed to nonstandard English. For example, an ESL speaker who is not intricately familiar with the language and its usage may be confused by your usage of "well" in place of "while", due to the usage of the word not coinciding with their pre-existing knowledge of the Standard English lexicon. As such, it is generally more acceptable to use Standard English when applying English in its written form. The exception to this is if the only people who are going to be reading the written text are people who are also privy to or familiar with the particular brand of nonstandard English you are applying. In spoken English, the use of nonstandard forms is somewhat more acceptable due to the presence of higher contact, higher intimacy, clearer context and the use of non-verbal indicators allow for heightened comprehensibility of a nonstandard form, but in the written medium where such non-verbal cues are not present, it is generally accepted that one should use Standard English as much as possible. This is not to say that the colloquial form of English you are using is in any way wrong or inferior, just that it is an inappropriate application in this situation, by convention. Similarly, while I do enjoy the subtleties of Singaporean Colloquial English(more commonly known as Singlish), I would not use it on these forums, or even in the Showdown chat, as it may hinder comprehensibility and the accomplishment of the Communicative Principle. TL;DR Don't take Language Studies, it gives you OCD
  16. Kagari turned her head in response to Hiroki's question. "Hmmm? Instruments? Well...I didn't see any, and I doubt there any in the room, but..." Unable to contain herself, Kagari outstretched her arms as if trying to measure the celing with her armspan and twirled around while laughing. "We're in the Hope Complex! The one and only headquarters of YUUSHA Productions, the biggest name in the music industry!! There are bound to be instruments somewhere in this huge building, I'm sure of it!" She flashed Hiroki a dazzling smile as she finished twirling. Then she realised how excitable she had been acting, and her grin broke. Kagari lowered her head in shame, bowing to nobody in particular at an angle that broke ninety degrees, her head almost touching the ground. "I apologise for my previous indiscretion. I shall endeavour to keep my vulgar tendencies in check from now on."
  17. Uhh Rusty I noticed this a while back and thought I should bring it up: you seem to have a habit of writing "while" as "well". Just needed to get it out of my system, I'm a bit OCD about English.
  18. Well it's fine by me since I'm familiar with all of it, (also KnK > Fate), but others might be a bit more lost.
  19. Kagari's confusion deepened. "Yeah, it's an expressive ahoge. What about it?" ...Perhaps Arya had never seen that particular type of sentient hair before? It was pretty common as she was growing up... Perhaps Arya was new to the country?
