Yeah I'm also hyped as hell by Ice/Fairy Ninetales, and a bit curious about Ghost/Fire Marowak (weird thing though from what I understand so far, Alolan Cubone is still Ground type..) I don't believe we should consider things like "only 10 years" to be too important. We're not in the real world, in my opinion, we're given the possibility to play around and bend the rules... Also keep in mind I'm not only talking about Alolan forms Swampellow We're talking about creating our own new forms for our own fanmade regions - be it Reborn, or any other Fan Game.

Hey, it’s me again, after a not so little while… I posted this topic in Reborn City as I feel it could be usefull to this game, but really it's also about any other Pokémon Fan game. If it's the wrong section then I apologize, and will move it as soon as I'm asked to, As you guys know I’m not usually one to participate much to this community, because that’s just who I am I guess, someone who just stays back and observes. That is until I find – or think of – something I feel is worth sharing. And for those of you who remember me still, even though I rarely make any appearances, you should know by now, I like to make clear, constructed, and looooong arguments to share my thoughts. So if you don’t want to read all of it, I suggest you go right where the big red arrow is "==>" where the most important part of my speech begins. For the bravest of you, I thank you for you reading, and hope I make it worth your while! First of all, I should say, I’ve always been a great fan of the Pokémon universe, and its games (duh…), but I never really found complete satisfaction in the official games. I mean don’t get me wrong, they were always great, just missing that little something that keeps me hanging, thinking “what the fuck just happened? Where am I going? How am I going to win this shit?” Usually, it was always just interesting, but the stories unfolded quite easily, and mainly always the same way. Then I discovered fan games – Romhacks and RPGMaker games – and it was a bit better, but most of the time it was still just alright. Many reasons for this, the first one being that I probably have some sort of OCD, and I don’t like romhacks that don’t have complete national dex (i.e modified pokédex to replace some Pokémon with ones from newer generations), and also because I just couldn’t take Fakemons (usually due to lack of good design). Also I kept being disappointed with aborted fan games. And then Reborn happened. A game that was said to be mature, with a much darker theme, and that obviously was greatly cherished by its creator (s?). That’s when I really began to search for every fan game that looked interesting to me. I even found one that reconciled me with Fakemons, Pokémon Sage. It actually helped me understand that I didn’t like Fakemon when they were mingled with actual Pokémon, because they didn’t feel like they fitted. But when they were apart (AND well designed), I could actually fall in love with some of them (looking at you Avalynx). Since gen VI and mega-evolutions, I felt the same way with fake mega-evolutions. As in “meh.. sure” but not a great fan. ==>However recently, with Pokémon Sun and Moon on the way, and all the new things that are coming, there is one that has caught my attention a great deal and that had an idea grow in my mind: Alolan forms for already existing Pokémon. (By the way, for now they’ve all been first gen unless I’m mistaken, and I do hope that some other gens will have their Alolan forms). I’ve read a few posts on this very forum, about adding them to Reborn, and how they could be introduced and such things. I have to say, I felt like people were really missing the obvious… In my opinion, the next generation of Pokémon is a great gift to us, but more than that, it is a great gift to fan games creators. And I don’t know if I’m the only one to have seen it that way so far, but if so, then I find it weird. Alolan forms… Then maybe Reborn forms? Or whatever other fan game forms ? Someone creates a whole new game with a new region that has its own environment, weather, history and culture, could they take some of the official Pokémon and adapt them? Justifying their non-existence in other regions by the fact that they moved in and mutated/evolved. Basically what I’m thinking right now is GameFreak has given us more than Alolan forms, they introduced Darwin’s evolution in their universe, so we can now just go ahead and diversify any species of Pokémon we like, to extend the background story and universe of any fan game – For instance, what if the Azurill line had become Poison/Fairy type in Reborn due to waters being infected for so long? So if any of you want to do that, you go ahead, and know I’m probably gonna want to play your game. If any of you has any thoughts to share about this or any kind of same interesting thing, I’ll be reading, Angel out~

Wow. Your Pokémon Reborn Logo looks waaay better than mine And the box art is great =) I'll be sure to follow the thread you'll create about it ! Edit : Actually, would you mind telling me how you made it (or where you got it) the logo I mean ? What police (edit : i meant font... my french language took over D: ) is used for the "Reborn" word ?

Thanks for the piece of information, it does make sense for Absol to be the mascot, and he was always one of my favorites so works for me =) I tried placing the logo at the bottom left of the picture, but as I said, it hides a part that I believe is worth being seen ^^ I still have that problem with the pokéball being blurry, I tried creating a Reborn Pokéball of my own using a regular pokéball as base, but the result was inconclusive. I'll be working on it untill I find a way for it to be perfect.. What with my brain having OCD and all :/ Now that I think of it, Pokemon Reborn doesn't have a cover of its own does it ? I've seen some fanmade games that had virtual covers just for the fun of it, so why not Reborn ? Unless it already has one and then I'm a complete idiot for not seeing it, which is possible D: Edit : So I've tried creating a higher quality Rebornball (should be given an official name in my opinion ) Here's the cover with that said ball : It feels kinda meh to me, but at least the blurr is gone..

Well i don't know about the logo in the bottom left, it would hide the ruins behind Absol, whereas at the top left, there's only the dark sky, but I'm going to give it a try =) I was just wondering, is Absol actually one of Reborn's mascots, or do just people consider him to be one because he's got a dark background to his lore ? Also who are the others ? Curiosity kicked in, and it might be usefull for my cover, one never knows !

Otherwise, it is perfect !] I used your picture and created a cover that should do. I might still work on it a bit, but here's what I have made so far : It looks good on my phone =) The Reborn Pokéball seems a little blurry, but on the phone it doesn't show this much since the picture is smaller in size. Still I'm going to try and fix it if i can..

Hello everyone, been a while since I last posted, but I had a question / an idea I wanted to share with the community. I suppose I'm not the only one who finds Pokémon Reborn's Music fantastic, to a point that even when I'm not playing the game, I sometimes need to go find the BGM directory inside the game folder just so I can press the "Play all" button and listen to it while I'm playing to The Vanishing of Ethan Carter or Diablo III. The thing is I would like to add the music to my Smartphone, but I have to confess, my brain has some serious OCD issues :/ I cant add music to my smartphone if it's not well organized, so I'm going to have to create an album and put all the songs in it. My problem is I would love to find a cover for that said album, and I would like it to be worthy of the game that Reborn is, and its music. I've been trying to look for nice pics that would work well or at least could be a base to work on for me, but I failed to find anything interesting. There are two possibilities of course, either I didn't look hard enough, or I just couldn't find anything that suited me. Here's my question : Do any of you have Reborn's Music on your smartphone, and if so, what do you use as a cover for it ? Thanks boys and girls !

Whoever gave you this idea is a genius Ame ! Ahem... was it me ? Anyway, nice job as always, I do prefer Decibel too, like many of us I can see. So far my favorite protagonists are in order Vero, Lucia and Decibel. For me though, choices mean hesitation :/ which one will I pick for my next playthrough ? Damn...

I actually thought it would be better if when you finished a part of the game which was say episode 12, it would show on top of the screen *while you're still in-game* the next episode (here episode 13) along with its title. So here it would be when you just finish episode 12 by beating the fighting type gym leader if i'm correct, and walking out of the gym, then you get "Episode 13 : Cascade" written on you screen for say 2 seconds, just so you know where you're situated in the game.

Hello everyone ! We're all happy about the new episode coming out recently, I am struggling a little (and by that understand a lot D: ) against Charlotte, but I will be fine, as I read somewhere that rain dance should help a lot. Anyway, this had nothing to do with this topic. With the new episode coming out, I was reading its title, remembering the last few episodes' titles when they came out as well, and I realized that once the game would be fully complete, there would be no track of any of them left - inside the game I mean - so I was thinking, and this is probably something that I should be saying to Ame, since she's the one working on the game, maybe there should be little title screens, or just titles on top of the screen at the beginning of every part of the game / every episode, so that people could know which episode they just started, and so they can admire the title as we all did when the said episode came out. Does that make sense to anyone else ? And I don't think it would be very hard to add to the game, I'm guessing.

I actually tried Dota, and I dont like it that much, the gameplay does not suit me well D: (this poney-chicken thing is so funny tho, especially when you command it to go suicide :/ ) And the troll potential in Dota is actually infinitly greater than in League. Let me give you some examples : - Unlimited Ping (I saw my brother ping nonstop and his teammates were like "wtf please stop", it was funny to watch but a limitation would be really simple to add, just like in League). - Sending the poney-chicken thing (sorry can't remember its real name) to its death and watch all the stuff that your teammate bought get detroyed - There is even a character that can grab allies, and I watched a youtuber show us how he denied is teammates kills, and dove the ennemy fountain just so he could grab an ally into it and watch him die And I probably don't even know half of the troll possibilities, since I played it only once and never went back to it, I barely know 1/1000 of the game. My point is, trolling and toxicity is probably the same in League and Dota (again I may be wrong so dont get mad at me if you disagree D: ) And League of Legends is actually a great game, I won't ditch it just because of stupid players. The whole "money thing", I guess I get your point, but you have to admit, everything that is NEEDED in the game is free. If you want to pay for skins/anything else with real money, it is a choice that is given to you ^^ and correct me if I'm wrong, but there are some things you can buy for real money in Dota to aren't there ? As for the constant nerf/rework I kind of like it, it makes the game feel new every time a new champ or a rework gets out. =) The whole atheist/extremist christian thing is not really comparable to my mind or if it is then I failed to see where you linked the two situations ^^ Also to my mind, extremists are all the same, whether christians, muslims, atheists, or whatever else you can find but I'm kind of going out of topic there, sorry, please dont hurt me, I won't do it again D:

Indeed, France was a great empire, and won a lot of wars, prior to WWII when they did surrender, so they didn't surrender in "Countless Wars" as you said Arkhidon. But even if people make fun of us because of this, that is a completely different thing. I mean in France we too have stereotypes for a lot of countries, and we make fun of them (Americans being fat, and such things ), but we don't hate on them just for this, or at least I don't. (And to be honest I don't even care about history, I'm only French because I was born and live and in France, but my family has no french origins whatsoever.) Well I never speak French unless I'm with a premade French, and even then I still speak English when needed. I too have come across some french trolls, and some from other countries, but I never did anything to be treated that way, except being french I guess D: That is also one of the reasons why in France we believe Riot cares only about NA, because they never did a damn thing to stop the hate against us :/ Anyway, yeah, I guess haters be haters.

Ever since generation III, Gardevoir has been my favorite, (Milotic not so far behind), but with gen VI, and the introduction of Fairy type (Fairy>all), now I love her even more. Especially beceaus of her personality, and the way she looks like, always so calm and in self-control no matter what.

Aaah, well my Gardevoir is shiny as well, except for some reason she has green hair and doesnt shine. And she's also a male technically but she wants to be operated. Amethyst, we need a doctor, can you give us one ?

Okay here I go. I feel like I'm broken inside, and I don't know why. It just seems like I can't feel anything, any attachment to anyone or any emotion, like I just don't care, but sometimes I can feel like I have the child I once was, happy and oblivious, banging inside my chest, wanting to burst out of me and start crying, but even at those moments, if I take a look at myself in the mirror, I would just look like usual : impassive. I feel like I lost my feelings and can't express them anymore. My best guess is that it comes from when I became a teenager and realized I was different, and had to hide it from my family, maybe it hurt less to just pretend like I didn't care, and I got used to it. I'm actually glad of being that way sometimes, because even if my parents, my brothers, and most of my family on my mother's side has accepted my being gay (or at least tolerated for some), they still don't understand why I get upset with the way the world is, and to them I shouldn't think about it too much. For instance, I would like to tell my uncle (my father's brother) about this, but I just can't, because my father is affraid of his reaction, and so my parents keep asking me to be someone else when he and his family are with us. Oh and I should mention, I'm Lebanese, so my only grandma left, who I care (or cared, I'm not even sure how I feel anymore) about deeply, who lives in Lebanon, can obviously never know about me, so yeah maybe that is why I disconnected and shut down my feelings.
