Danielle suddenly paused, the last word echoed in her mind as if she had heard it many times before... "Wait a second! That might be it! When I went to get my fortune told, the Gothitelle told me that a boy is painted in the color or revenge! She also said that the boy's "string" is fading."

"That is... Odd...." Danielle finally spoke up as the guys finished their thoughts. "Evan first said that Skarmory came to him by itself, and now he's saying that Skarmory was a gift. If what he told Claude is the truth, why did he lie about it before? There is nothing wrong with receiving a Pokemon as a gift unless the gifter is a Team Rocket-like organization..." The coordinator paused as she tried piecing the puzzle pieces together. "Which could mean that this organization is trying to recruit Evan for some reason..." In the meantime, Avis was fixing up Danielle's messy hair that the Larvesta had previously caused. Considering that Danielle would be back up on stage next, she might as well make her master look as presentable as she could while they were deep in discussion.

"Oh, just training and all, like the most of us," Danielle replied to James, waving it off as if it was no big deal. Her attention lied in Lana's uphill battle against Mareek. The coordinator grinned widely as Lana's Pokemon held their ground against such a formidable opponent; her teammate is finally able to show the crowd just how tough she is. "Yeah, Lana! Show 'em what you're made of!" she cheered as Claude made his way back to them. Once the cheery teen was within earshot, Danielle took her eyes off of the battle to address him. "Everything went well?" Avis watched as Evan's little group dispersed. Judging by the hostile words, it's pretty obvious that it didn't go as well as planned no thanks to Ryan. As soon as Evan left, Avis gave one last look at the battle before flying back to rejoin Danielle and company, taking her place on her master's shoulder.

Danielle nodded at Jacob and Claude's suggestions. She was honestly glad that they would be able to take on Evan and leave her with either Mareek or Henry. And at the mention of Mareek... "Mon dieu! You're right!" Danielle exclaimed after Jacob finished his thoughts. She then heard an affirmative cry from her Murkrow, who pointed to the screen from the back of a chair. "All right, we can ask Mareek after the match; I'm curious to see how this plays out. And, if it's okay, maybe we could ask Lana as well? She might have overhead something since she's so quiet and all... And I am almost one-hundred percent certain that she's no threat to any of us." She added as she followed Jacob back into the heart of the waiting room. "As for Evan, I would settle for him being reasonable, let alone being sweet." "So..what was that about "TR" from earlier?" "James! That was a quick battle!" Danielle greeted the Lavender Town native as he made his way over to her. "Well, remember that Donphan stampede from earlier? All of us had suspected it was Team Rocket's doing; hence the "TR." However, my Mawile was able to talk to Evan's Skarmory and was convinced that this wasn't the work of the Rockets at all." Danielle looked to Claude and Jacob fill in the rest of the details; she has to give credit to where its due, after all.

{Flux and Murdoc (and Grass if you happen to have time to drop in)} Miki beamed at the scientist before she turned to deliver her final command. "Rai! You heard us! Finish her with Thunder!" The Jolteon braced himself as the lecherous wind hit his face, growling quietly until it blew past him. He then felt Ogre's electricity course through his fur, re-energizing him in the process. Raito let out a happy cry before he charged up for a Thunder. His muscles tensed up as he glared at Lassie; electricity began to crackle around his yellow and white fur. Realizing the dangerous situation, Candice gasped and quickly ordered Lassie to move out of the way of incoming thunderbolts, but Lassie reacted too late. Raito released a massive thunderbolt straight into the air, creating an explosive thunderstorm around the arena. Several seconds later, lightning bolts came crashing down the icy terrain. Candice's Froslass managed to dodge each of them left and right before her exhaustion finally caught up to her. Before she could react, Lassie was finally struck with a blast of lightning. A loud shriek could be heard in the gym as the electricity shocked the Froslass' ghostly white body. After this agonizing treatment, the electricity began to recede along with the thunderstorm. As the thunder resounded dully in the background, Lassie finally collapsed, splattering the water around her. Candice grinned widely as she unclipped her Froslass' capsule from her belt. "Thank you Lassie, for everything. I'll get you back real soon." She whispered the last statement so that nobody else could hear her. "And so, since I'm out of Pokemon, Team Dusk is declared the winner! Give them a round of applause!" Candice declared as cheerfully as she could. Whoops and cheers immediately erupted the ex-acolytes as Candice made her way over to congratulate Flux and Miki. "If I could give you an Icicle Badge for your amazing efforts, I would. Alas, that will not be the case today. Soooo, to make up for that, I will gladly offer my allegiance to your underground network. And I'm sure these girls will love it too." She gave a nod in their direction before she pointed to the back room. "Now then, why don't you get your Pokemon some rest back there first? I'll see to it that you get out here safely, just in case the patrollers are back. That goes for whoever else is up there! Don't leave until I say so!" "T-Thank you, Candice!" Miki stuttered humbly. She was honestly just surprised that they won. Another victory, another step closer to freeing Sinnoh from Dawn's reign. Her Jolteon then jumped into her arms, barking loudly at their achievement. "Umm... Flux, I'm going to go to the healing room first. Thanks for helping us there!" With an awkward bow to Candice, Miki began to walk off to the healing room with her Jolteon in her arms. It was a strange scene, as the yellow Eeveelution wasn't making an attempt to walk over there himself; his legs were just failing around as Miki attempted to drag him there as gracefully as she could. ---------------- Jon had to put his hands on his ears as the group of girls cheered obnoxiously as the battle ended. He had already healed up Kyte, his faithful Swampert, as soon he walked off the field, so he was sitting in the bleachers watching the battle go on. He eyed the girls suspiciously, still not trusting them in the slightest. It was then that he found two familiar faces in the crowd. Since when did they get here though? He must have missed them while the acolytes were shuffling into the gym. Seeing that nobody else more trustworthy was available at this point, Jon made his way over to Sarcus and Alina. "Hey. Sorry I didn't notice you before. Acolytes must have blocked my view."

{Dobby and Jory} Zared nodded enthusiastically as Jacob hit the nail on the coffin. He was so happy, in fact, that he almost pulled off one of Avis' precious flight feathers. The Murkrow was quick enough to jerk her wing away before it happened, but she gave a warning glance at the oblivious Mawile. Danielle was about to inform James on their current discussion when he was called out to battle. "We'll fill you in afterwards!" she informed him as he stepped out. Whether or not he heard was unclear. Since Claude and Jacob were up in arms about this idea, Danielle got up from her seat and took out 2 of her Pokeballs. "Alright, you three heard the guys. We going to find Mareek and Henry, so rest up~" Zared and Corona went back in without hesitation, leaving Avis alone with Spitfyre. "I don't mind asking Henry or Mareek about this but Evan is the one I'm staying out of. You both know what will happen if I'm within his range of eyesight..." Danielle sighed as she began to walk over to the exit. She paused to wait for the guys, although her mind was disecting the information that Jacob just told them. "You know, that Donphan stampede (how foolish for remembering it as a Rhyhorn stampede) is strange itself. Professor Cadmus said that Donphans are peaceful Pokemon and don't run off like unless someone scared them."

((Big risks = big rewards)) {Flux} Rain slowly replaced Hail, making the Froslass an easier target for her opponents to spot. As the watery droplets came down, Ogre crashed into the frail Lassie before she could move away. The Froslass shrieked in pain as she was sent tumbling back to Candice's side of the field. "Lassie! Can you keep going?" Candice called out. The Froslass grunted a little before she managed to pick herself back up with her two sleeve-like arms. Lassie then floated unsteadily, panting from the brutal assault that she just took, but made no attempt to step down. It was clear that the battle was coming to a close. "Alrighty then! Let them taste an Ominous Wind!" Lassie was only happy to get some revenge. She flapped her arms wildly, generating blast after blast of ghostly winds that are headed straight for the duo. "Flux, can Ogre use Thunder? Raito can take a hit so we team up on her and finish it off." Miki asked as she put up her hood.

{Dobby, Jory + Everyone Else in the Waiting Room} Corona chirped in surprise as she was suddenly dropped all the way down onto Danielle's head. She scrambled desperately to regain her composure, only to end up falling onto her backside in empty chair and messing up her master's hair in the process. The Larvesta cried for help as she struggled to get back onto her belly, swaying side to side like a little baby girl would. ------------------------ "H-Hey!" Danielle stammered as she felt her Larvesta land on her head. "Don't worry, we are always happy to have Claude the Extraordinaire's presence." She quickly put Avis back onto her lap and pushed Corona lightly on her side so that she could roll back onto her six legs. As Danielle listened to Jacob's suggestion, she also noticed Zared walking over and taking his place by her foot, glancing at the group silently before he turned his attention to the screen. She figured that her Mawile was satisfied with how the conversation was going, so she decided to address Jacob and Claude and leave her newest team member be. "Thanks, although it was nothing compared to your one turn knockout. That's what I expected from the top favorite to win!" Danielle replied to Jacob's praise. "And talking about a favorite, where is Mareek then? We might as well ask him now that we still have time to kill." ----------------------- Avis flew to Zared and whispered something in his ear. With a nod, Zared suddenly snapped his fingers to get the humans' attention. They got the first suspicious activity down, but he was more worried about this one in particular. It was going to be hard to explain, but it had to be done; A death happening because he failed to deliver this information is something he would not like to have on his guilty conscience. First, he pointed to the Skarmory and then his ear to signify that she told him something. Zared then drew two letters, "T" and an "R", to signify Team Rocket, their previous suspicions of this trouble-making group. He pointed to Slade and drew the same two letters again to emphasize his point. Finally, he drew a huge "X" with his horn on the spot where he drew said letters. "Okay, so Skarmory told you something that makes you think it's not "TR." Who's "TR" though?" Danielle asked. She watched Zared pointed to Slade again before he made a charging movement towards Avis repeatedly. Avis was dodging all of them by sidestepping them. "Slade, TR and something ramming its head at us?" The Mawile gave an affirmative cry. Danielle scratched her head, unaware of her hair's messy state, trying to figure out this scene. It seemed awfully familiar... "Claude, Jacob, anybody got this charade? It looks like he is emphasizing the Rhyhorn stampede, but I can't figure out the "TR" part..." Zared finally lifted up Avis' wing with one hand and lifted up a black feather daintily with his other, allowing each and everyone of them to look at the black coloring.
