  1. Group 1 (Bfroger, Murdoc, Zephyr, EXLink) Before anyone else could answer the question, Alastair started to gather everyone up. Shiro’s battle came to a conclusion and the group left to head back to camp. While they were walking Tyron, who was walking last, noticed a small Druddigon following them. He walked over to Shiro and whispered to the boy he apparently impressed the dragon enough for him to catch it. A few minutes later they saw the rest of the students. There was one big group in particular gathered around Ryan and a brunette. The teachers were chatting just outside their cottage while Devin was making a phone call. Lucky Elf, Tacos, Jory, Ryan, Turbo, Commander and DarkLight Sofia felt really embarrassed when a large group gathered around her. And when Ryan came over she just wanted to sink into the ground. Before she could say anything, Kristen, who was distracted by Jacob’s smile, took the word. “No, I won’t let you harm her again. You would probably flirt around with her a little bit like you did before, tell her it’s not her fault but yours, which it is, and give her little compliments.” She stood between Sofia and Ryan and poked the boy in his chest. “I know your type. You feel bad after leading her on and taking her on a Flygon ride and just want to clean your own guilt! Or maybe you’re afraid your boyfriend will find out you were flirting with someone else!” She yelled loud enough so the people around them could hear it. Sofia widened her eyes after hearing what her friend said and quickly interfered. She didn’t want anyone attacking Ryan like that. “It’s alright, Kristen, I’ll listen to him.” She still avoided making eye contact with the boy in front of her. Kristen sighed. “As you wish,” She grabbed Claude and Jacob by their arms and dragged them away. “Sunshine, Cutie, let’s leave them alone.” She turned her head and watched Danielle in the eye, grinning. Jacob was hers now. ((Jacob and Claude didn’t see the grin)) ****************** In the meantime the Pokémon that served as a trampoline was annoyed. Something not that heavy was jumping on his belly alongside two feather weights. Fortunately the jumping stopped soon enough and he could go back to sleep, for now. The second Togepi was still jumping when it suddenly noticed its friend disappeared. And it didn’t see the other one either. Curious as to where they were, probably having fun without it, it started to search. ((Togepi is coming soon to the camp. No one can find it yet as it will go to Jacob eventually.))
  2. I'm skipping that battle. I'm just going to mention the Druddigon following Shiro and he'll take it from there once his battle starts. Edit: I'm off. Snap /Jory: One of you can go ahead with that interaction and move group 1 when Kage had the chance to answer Slades question. My laptop might be fixed tomorrow as the new part finally arrived and my friend can replace the broken part. I might not be around that much tomorrow because of it and I'm not sure when I'll have it back. Probably the very same day.
  3. “I-it’s nothing,” Sofia stuttered. She didn’t want everyone to know how upset she was or why. Unfortunately for her Kristen thought the exact opposite. “Your friend over there led her on by flirting with her and being romantic. She got her hopes up and he just crushed them. As for that battle; we’re not really in the mood.” She eyed the Tyrunt carefully. “Especially Sofia wouldn’t be able to concentrate and I just want to be here for my friend.” All the time she stayed civil and friendly. She didn’t mind this Claude guy being around. He seemed to know Jacob so this could be her chance to get closer to him. ************** Not far from where the students were, two little Togepi’s found themselves a trampoline. They bounced up and down while swinging their little hands in excitement. The trampoline didn’t seem to be faced as it kept snoring in silence. It probably didn’t even feel the two eggs jumping.
  4. Wrong. As soon as group 1 is back I'm going to start another event instead of doing it on day 2. It was originally meant for Shiro.
  5. “What’s wrong?” Kristen asked concerned. She could read her best friend like an open book. Sofia hugged her and was crying silently, her head buried in the redhead’s hair. “You know the guy I talked about earlier? He’s in my group. I talked to him and he was really nice and even took me on a flight with Flygon. I thought we were flirting a little when he suddenly said he was already taken!” Kristen cursed. “What an ass! But if he flirts around with others girls while having a girlfriend, he doesn’t deserve you. That shows his true colors.” “He has a boyfriend,” Sofia silently corrected her friend. She was too upset to continue the conversation. Kristen just patted Sofia’s head. She was quite surprised but kept her cool. “If he’s gay there’s not much to do. You’ll get over it and meet someone else, even though that’s probably the last thing you want to hear right now. Keep your head up and look at the other guys. There’s plenty of fish in the sea.” She eyed Jacob while saying that. “But be aware of the Feebas swimming around. Despite evolving into a beautiful Pokémon, that doesn’t count for boys. Once a Feebas, always a Feebas.” She thought especially about Henry. That guy was doomed to stay a Feebas forever. Sofia chuckled a little. “What about Tentacool’s?” She removed her head from Kristen’s shoulders and looked her friend in the eye. “I am Claude the Extraordinaire, fabulous purveyor of the coordinators arts!” The two girls were speechless when Claude suddenly interrupted. They stared at Claude, then at each other and started to laugh. “You’re a real sunshine, aren’t you?” Kristen chuckled. “I’m Kristen, a trainer, and this is my friend Sofia. She’s a breeder.” Sofia gave Claude a small wave. Her face was still red from crying earlier.
  6. Now this guy spoke Vincent’s language. “I’m all for launching a surprise attack. Do you have a plan? I can’t send Assassin into the field so we have to get Caster’s Master out of it. Or at least close enough to the edge so Assassin can take care of it. Unless one of you wants to do the dirty work?”
  7. I originally planned her to be a coordinator, but her team doesn't really fit for contests. (That's the impression I get from those Pokémon)
  8. Kristen is in the trainer program. She just can't stand Danielle gets more attention even though she's in another program. Sofia is a breeder.
  9. Alright, I was looking for a way out of that one so Devin wouldn't need to interfere. xD I'm going to update when I have a little more time. I decided to do something now after all that saves some time later.
  10. That was on purpose. I wasn't planning on getting involved with the Danielle / Henry story telling, but I wanted to postpone it until chapter 3 for various reasons.
  11. Calling Kristen a bitch in front of Devin and telling to avoid her... How to deal with this without getting everyone in trouble? xD
  12. Group 3 (TurboAura, Tses, Tacos) Brendan did a headcount while Rebecca received the cameras and other things the students made. A few minutes later they left for a short walk and reached camp. Devin, Phoebe and Roman were already waiting there and the students belonging to their groups were looking for their friends and exchanging stories. Sofia, still trying to avoid Ryan, located her friend Kristen and ran over to her. ((You’re free to interact. Everyone except group 1 is there))
  13. Vincent couldn’t believe how these other masters trusted each other so easily to reveal the identities of their Servants. Not that he complained. He would read up their legends later to make sure none of them could backstab him during the war. He ignored the glare and subtle remarks towards him and continued watching Lancer’s Master introducing his Servant. Suddenly Assassin materialized behind Vincent, sooner than he anticipated, and crouched down on one knee. “Master,” Assassin simply said. “What news?” Vincent asked while continuing to observe the other Masters. Assassin stayed quiet, uncertain if he could speak where the others could hear him. “It’s alright; they can hear your information. We are an alliance after all. Did you find out the identities of the remaining Masters?” “Not yet,” Assassin replied. “But I found a general location. One of them is hiding near the church. I sensed a Bounded Field. However I could not enter it without being exposed or potentially suffer damage. As per your instructions, Master, I returned.” Vincent thought for a moment. “A location isn’t a bad start, Assassin,” he mused before speaking loud and clear for the other Masters to hear. “I’d say we’re dealing with a powerful Master or Caster. What do you two think?” It was a bit of a turnaround in his personality, but for now he would play along with this alliance.
  14. Group 1 (Bforger, Murdoc, Zephyr, EXLink) Lana literally jumped when Slade caught her off guard. One part of her was glad he interrupted the awkward situation, but in some way he managed to make the atmosphere really weird to her. “Plastic?” she said really quiet. She had no idea what the question even meant. “It can hold water and you can recycle it?” In the meantime a sandstorm, far enough away from the students had caught Alastair’s eye. He walked over to make sure nothing happened and released a Kingdra to deal with it. Tyron was busy watching the battle between Shiro and the Druddigon. His Mienshao stood on high alert in case something would go wrong. Because both of them were busy they didn’t notice it was time to head back. Group 2 (Commander and DarkLight) –> Phoebe + Roman Unfortunately for Avis and Danielle their plan failed. Roman was walking around gathering students to tell them it was time to head back. He laughed when he saw remains of Goodra goo on Danielle and Henry. “So they caught you both? What with the long face, boy? You would think a good hug would cheer anyone up!” He chuckled at his own joke. “Anyone it’s time to head back so let’s get moving!” They arrived back at camp in time to hear Devin tell his group they were free for the evening and that food would arrive soon. Group 3 (TurboAura, Tses, Tacos) A whistle could be heard to indicate it was time to head back. Unfortunately for Sissy she still didn’t have her camera back and had to deal with an aggressive Swellow. Maybe Robert and Ryan, who were close by, could help her out? Group 4 (K_H, Surge, Jory, Azery, Lucky Elf) Devin watched Claude for a minute or two before looking at his watch. “Everyone, gather up! We’re going back to the cottages!” After a rather long walk back the group was first to arrive at camp. Devin announced they were free to do whatever they wanted within the parameters of the camp until the food arrived. He just finished his speech when Phoebe and Roman showed up with their group as well. ((Where did K_H disappear to?))
  15. I planned something else to happen there but time zones got in the way. And I thought Raiza was talking to her Deino when she was supposed to be next to Kage and Lana... xD Anyway I'm moving things ahead for the groups that don't have anything else going on. @Portgas D. Ace: Sorry man but registrations are closed. I'm at the limit with introducing new characters.
  16. That's fine. Bfroger asked for a break since he's busy so Shiro won't make an appearance during the trip and goes back home in chapter 3. We're still sorting out the details so as soon as the rest is finished I'm moving to the next day.
  17. Murdoc and Zephyr Lana felt really awkward and had no idea how to continue the conversation. Maybe she could ask him about his newest catch? But the last time she asked something she didn’t get all that much response. It might be possible Kage wasn’t interested in talking to her. She tried making eye contact with Raiza, who was surrounded by Gible, to ask her for help. Commander and DarkLight Kristen was on her way back after catching her newest team member, when she saw Henry and Danielle sitting next to each other. She walked over and noticed they were covered in some goo. She kept her distance and made sure the Murkrow couldn’t throw leaves at her. “Oooh look at this cute picture! You sure swing around from boy to boy at a fast rate, Danielle. But your newest catch is kinda pathetic.” She turned her attention towards Henry. “You really are nothing but talk. You act high and mighty and talk big like how you’re going to put Danielle on her place and here you are; sitting cozy next to each other.” Tses The Swellow was confused when she couldn’t escape. To make things worse she even failed to grab that shiny thing. She flapped her wings in anger and frustration and saw the Misdreavus. Was that stupid thing responsible for trapping her? If she wanted a fight she could get one. She would knock that ghost type out like she did earlier with that Scyther. Lucky Elf Devin frowned. “That’s an interesting reaction to say the least. And now you know she doesn’t seem interested in being released. You’ll have to be strict with her and show who is in charge or else she might turn out to be very dominant and change the trainer-Pokémon role around.”
  18. Aaah that thing. You would've drawn Swellow's attention if it wasn't occupied with the camera.
  19. Not if you say it doesn't look good xD And Tses was already drawing Swellow's attention. Ryan will get some more interaction later. As soon as Shiro is done catching I'm moving ahead.
  20. Murdoc and Zephyr “U-uhm I d-don’t know,” Lana stumbled. All she tried to do was to start a conversation, but apparently it didn’t make any sense to the boy she was speaking too. “I’m sorry if I said something dumb.” She felt embarrassed and almost whispered the apology. In the meantime the Gibles lost their second human to play around with. They looked around and their eye fell on a girl playing with another Dragon type. Maybe she wanted to play? They dug their way over and popped up in front of the Deino and Raiza in order to stop them. And then their little game began. “Giiible gible gible gible!” Tses The Swellow eyed the Pokédex carefully. It shone brightly in the sun and that was good enough for her. She dropped the camera carefully in the tree so she would find it back later, dived out the tree and pulled up like she did before. The bird could almost grab the Pokédex. Lucky Elf “Interesting,” Devin mumbled. He studied Tyrunt’s behavior from up close. “She’s showing territorial behavior. However I’ve never seen a Tyrunt claiming a person as her territory in this particular way… almost like she considers you here possession rather than a trainer like others do.” He walked around the dragon, not wanting to startle it considering Claude was still lying under the claws. “Try to give her a command,” Devin suggested.
  21. The board members? Miss Welsh maybe, but Brand is going to be around next chapter to interact with. He sponsors the Winter Cup after all. I thought Henry was going to say something to Danielle...
  22. Meanwhile at the Academy “I declare this meeting started!” Miss Welsh announced as soon as she entered the conference room. She completely ignored Nathalie Blake, also known as Redwood’s secretary, who just brought some tea and coffee. “Thank you, Nathalie,” Jeremy Brand said. He entered the room after Miss Welsh with Redwood walking behind him. “We got it from here,” he said with a wink. Nathalie smiled and twirled her hair before leaving. Miss Welsh sighed. “Enough with the flirting, Brand! We have serious business to attend too! If you don’t get your act together we’ll do this without you!” “But if I did that who would be the voice of reason? I’m sure you wouldn’t since you smelled money. Or is there a very, very small chance you actually are concerned about the health of that student?” Brand asked as he took a seat and placed it on the other side of the table so he faced Miss Welsh. It was his favorite method of pissing her off. Miss Welsh ignored his little outburst. “Are you taking notes, Miss Smith?” she asked to the lady at her left. “Y-yes! I’m on it!” she replied. Miss Smith, a friendly old woman, felt intimidated by Carolina Welsh and everyone on the board knew it. That was also the reason why she was the one to take notes. It always came in handy if Miss Welsh came out looking positive on paper. “Excellent! Now let’s get started, shall we? The reason I called you all here i-“ Miss Welsh was cut off. “- is because you want Craig’s spot. You smelled money when you saw a student broke his ankle –“ now it was Brand’s turn to be cut off. “How dare you? I’m generally concerned about the safety of our students!” Miss Welsh smacked the table with the palm of her hand. “This is exactly what I’ve been warning for all this time! Dragons are simply too violent! It’s not safe for our first years to take a trip into the Hills just to meet a bunch of aggressive Pokémon!” Brand jumped up and his seat fell on the ground. “Yeah right! It’s people like you, who know nothing about Pokémon and only care about themselves, that give them a bad reputation. Cut the bullshit, Carolina, you’ve always been against this trip because it takes a chunk out of the budget! I quote you directly from last time you brought this up,” he cleared his throat and made the most ridiculous squeaky voice he could muster, “’the trip to the Hills costs too much. If we cancel that trip we can save a lot of money and put it onto the Academy’s bank account. That way we have a little extra just in case something unexpected happens and we have to invest in new equipment’. And let me add the true meaning to that quote; ‘I want to fill my own pockets so I want the Academy to buy my products’ and you would probably add something like this; ‘it’s all for the benefit of the students’ who you don’t give a damn about!” Miss Welsh heard enough. “You are the selfish one here! We all know you only have that seat because you and Redwood are childhood friends. That’s the only reason he’s buying your second-rate equipment!” Brand wanted to reply, but didn’t get the chance. Redwood cleared his throat and drew all attention to him. He was about the only one who could stop Welsh and Brand when they were insulting each other under the disguise of a ‘conversation’. “Enough! Let’s get back on topic. We came here because a student broke his ankle in Devin’s garden. We all know his group of Haxorus likes to spook students. They behave like the real ones in the wild when it comes to territory. One of the students was caught off guard and tried to run when he slipped on broke his ankle. This was no more than an unfortunate accident. The first one in many years under Devin’s guidance; just in case someone forgot that little fact.” “That says more about Devin then about those dragons. You said yourself the ones in his garden are harmless. Considering the accident happened because of a so called harmless dragon, is even more to worry about. What if that happened in the Hills? That place isn’t safe for first years or any student for that matter!” Miss Welsh stubbornly added. “Ah, here we go! The real reason we’re here,” Brand remarked. He was about to go further into the discussion and so was Miss Welsh, but Redwood raised his hands to stop them from talking. “The trip to the Hills is necessary because a harmless dragon raised by an expert is completely different from a wild one. Right now they are learning how to handle themselves if they ever cross dragon territory. And if you insist on going on about it,” he said raising his hand again to stop Miss Welsh from interrupting him, “keep in mind that since the first students graduated from this Academy, none of them caused a major incident with dragons or any other type. The only case where a dragon still goes on a rampage is when they are trained by the older generation that’s too stubborn to change their ways. You can find all these facts in police reports. And if that’s not enough just take a look at the Ymora League. All those trainers are far more capable at handling themselves and their Pokémon because they learned about them from year one. Dragons aren’t so dangerous as everyone thinks but they are more difficult to handle and proud creatures. That’s why it’s still necessary to see how they are in the wild, learn about it, and if they catch one to raise it up from the first evolution.” Redwood ceased his case and waited patiently. He knew it was inevitable that Miss Welsh had something to say about it. The business woman was thinking to find a way to keep discussing, but didn’t immediately find anything. She looked over to the rest of the board members but most of them were nodding in agreement with Redwood. Brand on the other hand was just smiling arrogantly while staring straight at her. “And still accidents happen every time they go to the Hills!” she stubbornly insisted. “That only shows they need this trip. They are inexperienced and need to learn firsthand about what’s safe and what isn’t. And all those little accidents were immediately solved by Devin or one of the other adults.” “This time he didn’t solve it on time! Devin may not be as reliable as you think! He couldn’t even control his own Pokémon! He may be too old or just not the right man for this job! He doesn’t even have a degree in teaching!” Miss Welsh snapped. That was a big mistake on her part. Redwood didn’t care if she attacked him or called him unsuited for the job, but it was a complete different story when she did the same thing to one of his staff members. “Do NOT say something like that again!” he raised his voice. He sounded intimidating and almost reached Devin’s level. “Students safety and future are our biggest priorities! This includes for me and every staff member. All of them qualify and are capable. I don’t care about a little paper that says if they are suited to teach or not. I look at the person they are, their knowledge and how they handle students. Those parameters are far more valuable than anything else! If a member of the Elite Four, who shows great results as a teacher as well, can’t be trusted to teach students about safety around dragons and help them with their future training career, who can? Not everything is about money! We started this meeting to see if we had to change something about our dragon policy and the trip to the Hills so it’s about time we vote. Who is in favor of keeping the system?” Redwood raised his own hand as did 8 others. Miss Smith wanted to, but after a threatening look from Miss Welsh she kept her hand down. “9 to 2, I call that majority rule!” Brand said with a big smile. He loved it when Carolina’s plans backfired. “And let it be noted that the second vote against was out of fear!” He ran over to Redwood and placed his arm around his old friend’s shoulder. “Come, Craig, I’ve something else to discuss. That secretary of yours looks way too stressed. Have you ever considered giving her some time off? As it happens I have a flexible schedule…” he opened the door and continued the discussion. Redwood just shook his head and chuckled. Jeremy Brand hadn’t changed a bit.
  23. I won't. Same interactions aren't finished yet. Noted. And it's time Redwood got some spotlight.
  24. Jory and Lucky Elf “One moment, Jacob,” Devin replied. “Your friend here seems to be panicking.” He turned his attention to Claude. “Why don’t you release it now and well see how it goes. If you both agree to return the Tyrunt in the wild we’ll go back to release it. If the Pokémon doesn’t want to, you’ll have to train it. If you don't it will feel insulted and when you release it, it might cause some serious trouble. Remember Tyrunt's are playful, but their parents are very proud.” He then turned his attention to Jacob. “As for your problem; in two days you can battle another trainer with your newly caught Pokémon. You can wait until then because the match I’ve planned for you should be a decent challenge. In the meantime you can try to get to know your Charmander and find a way to let it co-operate with you. If you don’t think that will work or really want to battle now there are plenty of Bagons out there willing to have a go at it.” Murdoc Lana blushed, more because she felt embarrassed than anything else, and took Kages hand. She shifted her feet through the sand, unsure what to say. “Th-thanks. Aren’t you Kage? One of Danielle’s friends?” ************* Alvin managed to get his hands on a camera. He intended to use it to win the contest by making a beautiful picture containing nothing but Bug types, but he almost immediately got sidetracked. He looked at the camera and saw he had more than 50 pictures already. All of them had something to do with different bug species, but none of the pictures was made with the intention of winning the little contest. He just hoped the assistants would hand him his pictures when they got back. He went back to the place he started first and found a Heracross licking the honey he placed on a tree. “A Heracross!!” he yelled excited. He immediately released both his Pokémon with the intention to defeat it in battle, only coming to the conclusion that the fighting bug didn’t like to be interrupted when it ate. A quick barrage of Arm Thrusts took care of Shelly (Dwebble) while two Aerial Aces in a row managed to take Queen (Combee) down. “Wow,” Alvin stuttered. “If people back home only could see how powerful you are, Heracross. They would stop picking on Bug Types immediately.” Heracross ignored the boy and finished its meal. It intended to fly away before Alvin came up with another plan. “Want some more honey? If you come with me I’ll give it you.” To show he meant what he said he smeared some more on a tree. The Heracross reached the tree in the blink of an eye and nodded to Alvin, letting the boy capture her as soon as she finished. Once that was done; Alvin screened the Pokédex for information. Seeing that his newly catch was another female, he decided on a nickname. “Welcome to the team, Hera!”
  25. The way I see Hysteria it would influence every character to some extent except Berserker. I just let his senses kick in before entering it and considering it a counter against Assassin. This way my PC can go after Caster while being hunted down by Archer. Oh and my PC is completely underestimating yours.
