  1. Jory Trapinch realized it made a mistake when it couldn’t dodge the Incinerate attack. With no choice left it plunged through the attack, taking a considerable amount of damage, but finally managed to close its big jaws around Charmander’s leg. TurboAura, Tses and Tacos “Horn Attack!” Alvin yelled when Hera couldn’t dodge the incoming attack. The Bug’s horn glowed bright white and collided head-on with the Dragon Rage. A small explosion of smoke covered the Heracross from sight for a moment. “Swords Dance!” The smoke cleared fast enough to see a golden glow on Hera’s horn in the shape of a ring. It started at the horn’s base and went up before a new golden ring took the previous one’s place. After the third and last ring disappeared, Heracross was ready for the next incoming attack. Her speed advantage was almost gone so she just had to rely on her raw power. Surge and Lucky Elf Torkoal wasn’t very fast and considering the last attack that came from that weird Pokémon, the turtle wasn’t all that worried and took the attack head-on. The tortoise didn’t expect this much power. Apparently his opponents finally decided to go full power… two could play that game. Torkoal completely ignored Lance and whatever it was doing and turned his full attention towards Java, releasing another flamethrower.
  2. Do you have another water type planned? Because you can go back to your first idea with the Azumarill. (I think that was you right?)
  3. Jory The fire attack was enough to draw Trapinch out of the ground and let the Dragon Rage hit successfully. The ground type shook his big head to shake it off and opened his mighty jaws and ran towards his opponent; ready to take a Bite out of the Charmander TurboAura, Tses and Tacos “Oh yes, I forgot about the extra Steel type Riolu gets after evolution as well,” Alvin mumbled. He scratched his chin while thinking and didn’t notice Sissy coming over. “But that makes things easier as you can fit most Bug Pokémon in you- huh? Hera? No she’s right ne-“he turned around to see his Heracross and noticed she was gone just like Robert said. His eyes quickly scanned his surroundings and saw a Bagon lunging at Hera with a Fire Fang. “Dodge it!” Alvin yelled while running over. He had no idea how she got into the fight but a part of him was really excited. He looked forward battling with her and seized the opportunity. The Heracross listened well as she barely managed to dodge the incoming thread. “Retaliate with an Arm Thrust!” Heracross flew up and landed behind the Bagon with her claws ready to release a barrage of fast attacks. Surge and Lucky Elf Torkoal took Lance’s attacks as the start of their battle. The Bug barely managed to scratch the tortoise. “Toorkooaal!” the fire type yelled proudly before being hit by the weak Psybeam coming from the weird floating thing. Did it want to battle as well? But why go for such a weak attack? Maybe it underestimated him? Torkoal didn’t like that idea and went full power. A flamethrower came out from its mouth and by moving its neck it could reach both opponents at the same time.
  4. It's 2 vs 1. The Torkoal can't know Java doesn't belong to Claude and it has the advantage. I thought Mareek was going to jump in and wanted to see how well he does in team battles.
  5. I can already tell that thing is going to be a pain... And for those PCs that don't get much to do right now; all of you get something later on in the story.
  6. He doesn't care why they don't like him. He either thinks they judge him or are bullies in some cases. He knows not everyone likes bug types but the reason he still talks about them won't be revealed right now. I'll create an opportunity to get his backstory in. He actually has one compared to Lana.
  7. Jory The Trapinch ducked back in the hole to avoid the Dragon Rage attack. It made its way underground until it was right under the Charmander and created a pitfall. The sand under Charmander gave in as Trapinch popped back up and started to create a Sand Tomb. TurboAura and Tacos Alvin studied Robert’s team. He was being serious about the advice, even if the boy in front of him didn’t take it, and didn’t notice his Heracross took off to challenge a Bagon. “Bug types have three major weaknesses. Flying is covered by that Elekid and fire is resisted by Dragons. I’d say a bug type that isn’t weak to Rock could be an interesting pick,” he concluded. “Heracross, Durant, Scizor, Forretress and Escavalier immediately come to mind. What about one of them?” Speaking about Heracross; the one challenging Victoria didn’t waste any time. Her horn started to glow as she flew at high speed towards her target; ready to hit it with a Horn Attack. Commander Evan hadn’t even noticed his hand was out of his pocket. “Huh? Oh yeah,” he said ignoring his previous thoughts. “Eevee reacted enthusiastic after seeing a picture of a Vaporeon and loves the water. So I figured to evolve him into a Vaporeon and he agreed. I think all I need to do right now is give it to him…” The same thought had been playing though his mind for a few days now, but something held him back. Maybe it was best to throw this one away and go get a new one at Professor Redwood’s lab?
  8. It all depends on the other battles going on. Training sessions at this point aren't really that important as you get a full battle against another PC soon. And there's the upcoming Winter Cup with a lot of battle opportunities.
  9. Vincent was first to reach the house. Tonight went completely different than expected but at least another Servant had shown himself. Archer had proven tonight he was out of Assassin’s league to beat. His power was enough to worry Vincent, especially since he used multiple Noble Phantasms as it was nothing. Vincent took a seat and patiently waited for the others to return. Assassin appeared next to him but said nothing as to not disturb his Master’s thoughts.
  10. Jory Trapinch didn’t waste any seconds. It dug a tunnel and disappeared underground. Instead of popping up under the Charmander, it went for a surprise attack from the left and used sand-attack to blind its opponent. TurboAura and Tacos Alvin mused. “Well, if you’re serious about adding a Bug type I can give you some advice based on your other team members?” His tone was completely serious. The guy in front of him seemed like a decent person even if he didn’t end up adding a Bug Pokémon to his team. Heracross eye caught a shiny Bagon not far from them. The Fighting bug walked over and yelled a loud “Heraaa!” to challenge it. Commander Eevee quickly chased after the Togepi but made sure to stay behind it. Every now and then it jumped and missed on purpose before eventually tapping Zuko and running away. “No problem. You sound like you’ve been through a lot so I won’t bother you about it. But your Vulpix doesn’t look like a monster to me.” Evan was curious about what happened but decided not to push Henry into telling him. After all this was Henry’s business, not his. His hand went back into his pocket and he grabbed the water stone firmly. Time ran out and he had to make a decision soon.
  11. He is bearable as long as he thinks he has something in common with you. If you start of the wrong foot, like he did with Danielle and Claude, he won't make an effort to get along. As for your battle it's would be easier to set up in your next area. (That's the sandbox so probably a ground or a fire type.) Fair enough. One vs One it is. Sure. I'll get on it. Unless you already started something since this is the first thread I check. xD Also; as long as you don't go overboard with support moves I allow more. Claude's Doux for example learns more support moves. I Just want to avoid a situation where someone uses Poison Powder, keeps spamming Double Team to dodge and uses Protect just in case.
  12. Still working on it. I was thinking about something else instead of another Bagon. I wanna see you struggle Edit: speaking about struggling: Want to face Alvin? He has all his Pokémon running around so Bagon can easily challenge something or the other way around.
  13. Trystane twirled the knife around in between his hands and put it on his belt. He figured he would return it to Cesealia after he asked her about her intentions to use the weapon. He raised his eyebrow in confusion when a guy, apparently named Rodriguez, walked in. “Rodriguez? As in the one you buried earlier?” he asked Maximus.
  14. @Jory it's up to you if you want to turn it into a double battle. @Dobby and Surge: Fire types attacks are powered up because of the heat if you decide to battle Torkoal.
  15. Jory One of the Trapinch attention was caught by the Charmander who seemed eager to battle. It crawled over and made a gurgling sound by opening its jaws, challenging Spitfyre to a battle. The sound was loud enough to lure one of the Gibles over. TurboAura “So you are interested in bug types!” Alvin quickly released his other Pokémon. “This is Queen, she’s been with me for years now,” he said pointing to the Combee. “I think she’s ready to evolve soon. And the Dwebble is called Shelly. She’s tough but still has quite the way to go.” Alvin was obviously proud about his Pokémon. “And what about you? Do you have a bug Pokémon?” he asked genuinely interested. Commander “Faith was an accident. I knocked her ball of the table on the first day and she didn’t want me to leave her behind so I get what you mean.” He scratched his head and thought about Henry’s evolution remark. “I think Eevee is close if I give it a stone. Not sure about Faith. She really likes me but I don’t know if that’s enough. She’s surprisingly capable of holding herself in battle.” In the meantime Eevee managed to sneak up on the Drilbur. Happy Elf and Surge One of the Torkoal backed off after it saw the massive release of smoke its opponent produced. The winner of the little showdown, and the one Java saw, let out a loud ‘Koooaaal’ before energetically looking around. It was pumped and ready to show its power. If only that coward didn’t run away… Maybe the human with the weird floating thing was worthy? It slowly walked over and just stared at the duo releasing even more smoke in the process.
  16. Sure. It's going to be against other Bagons though. Or I can throw a rock type at him...
  17. TurboAura Alvin released his Heracross. “What do you think?” he asked. He struck a pride pose with his chest forward. Commander After Henry’s remark about catching the Vulpix, Evan turned his attention to the little fox. Zuko’s growl made her on edge as she rubbed against Evan’s leg and glared at the other fox. “It’s alright,” Evan said picking the female fox up. “You want to come with me?” Vulpix nodded and yelped excited. Cleffa added her own cheers to it and Evan found himself with two wiggling Pokémon in his arms. He put Cleffa down to get one hand free and grab a Pokéball in order to actually catch Vulpix. The little fairy ran over to the Togepi and Drilbur and started to play along. Vulpix pushed her nose against the Pokéball and a clicking sound confirmed the catch. Evan released his newest addition again and scanned her with his Pokédex. He noticed she was a fair few levels below the rest of his team. “Guess I’ll have to train you first before using you in the battle tomorrow. And I think I’m going to call you Mythe from now on.” The young trainer wanted to thank Henry, but his words got lost when his eye fell on the little Togepi running around. “I never thought I would see you with a Togepi…” he remarked. ((The Vulpix is level 12 and the extra 'e' in the nickname is intentional))
  18. 5 levels under your lowest. That way I know which Pokémon won't be participating in the Cup and everyone has a fair chance. You can go lower like Commander is doing with his Togepi.
  19. You can catch a fourth (underleveled) on the trip if you like. Or go in the forest in Chapter 3 to catch something.
  20. After the battle between Archer and Lancer ended Assassin materialized in front of Hels and Siegfried. “My Master sent me,” he said. “He told me to warn you this battle was intense enough to attract unwanted attention. We would be in trouble if Rider or Berserker showed up. We will meet you back at the house.” Without waiting for an answer Assassin disappeared again into his spirit form.
  21. If you want to go with that go ahead. It can dig itself in the ground so Raiza might have missed it. Or you can go with a lost one since I did the same for Evan and Vulpix.
  22. He'll probably try to convince Robert about the beauty of Bug Types. It's up to you. Chapter 4. In the Safari Park. Skorupi's are found in the desert / sand area. If you want one later it's also in Chapter 4 but in the Hippowdon Reservoir. I was planning to make her leave as an exchange student. At this point she's not contributing anything and it gives Kristen some more motivation to dislike Ryan. In chapter 3 there are going to be 6 other NPCs running around as students so I don't think she's needed.
  23. You might miss it if I edit it in but did you want me to take control over a wild Gible to battle? (somehow I have a deja-vu moment by asking this) There's also the opportunity to battle some Phanpy / Donphan if you want later on. They aren't exactly meant to battle but you can use it as a way to calm them down. And I also decided to drop Sofia after this trip. I didn't expect Ryan to be open with her this early so there's no point in her being around any longer. And I have enough other NPCs to keep around since I need new RoG Agents. ((That update is coming Surge but I'm still figuring out some of their teams))
