Sigurd bit his tongue. He was pissed ever since he heard that one of the Death Angels killed the entire town right under their noses. His preferred action would be to go after the bastard and kill him, but he decided to go with the group. He was careful not to give away their location, he was seriously tempted to go slay some Gnolls, and listened to Dru. The Sorcerer had earned Sigurd’s respect and the Wind Templar took his warnings seriously. He followed the group, positioning himself at the end, with one blade in his hand. That way if an enemy showed up he could always shatter their knees with his wind attacks.

What about the Legend of Sigurd the Magnificent? So this Grave Earth is something that will kill us all right? I picture it as a giant flower made out of soil but I don't think that's quite right. And no, Sigurd isn't going to active it. xD

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]
Chim replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Tacos This flying human seemed like he was fun to play with. The little Dragons gave each other a mischievous glare before all of them started to chase after Ryan, trying to grab him. Turbo and Tses Sissy’s and Robert’s teamwork wasn’t working and their opponents grabbed the opportunity. The bigger Gible, a male who was facing Jet, opened his big jaws and managed to Bite straight into Jet’s wing and refused to let go. The smaller one, a fast female, wasn’t able to dive into the ground anymore but managed to dodge the Yawn attack. She gained some distance and fired a Dragon Rage towards her opponent. Elf and Azery The adults dragons were satisfied with the amount of hugging they managed to do in the last two days. They went back to their nests and left the little ones in good care. Or so they thought. It didn’t take long before the neighbors from the grassland nearby come. An entire group of Arbok and Ekans slithered around. They tried to expand their territory to gain some more influence in the area and over Pokémon that had to cross their land in order to drink. They quickly intimidated the small dragons, abusing their peaceful and friendly nature, and started to make hissing sounds. The Goomies quickly retreated behind the legs of both humans. Zephyr and Murdoc Lana decided to follow after Raiza and Lucifer. The Litwick led them through a cave and a natural staircase. At the other end they found a flustered Kage and his Pokémon. Celebi noticed other presences coming up and quickly retreated behind a rock formation. The little time traveler was concerned about Kage and wondered if he would tell the two females about the vision he just saw. ExLink The big Team Rocket member moved his hand towards his belt and grabbed something that looked like an old Pokédex. “Tangrowth here to report; we made contact and everything goes as predicted. The target initially refused so we need some more time.” “Roger that. Get back to me when you have the results.” Both members stared at Slade for a few seconds. Neither of them showed any indication of removing their hoods or scarfs that covered their faces. Suddenly the female spoke up. “We weren’t beaten by mere kids… Giovanni disbanded our team because the kid convinced him he was on the wrong path. He said the kid remembered him how he used to be. Not that it matters because that kid was powerful and given time he surely would’ve been able to stop us. He’s one of a kind that has natural battle talents and rose to the top in no time. And that’s exactly why we need young trainers like you. You share our battle style and we are powerful enough to raise you to hold your ground. We have people in our ranks that can rival the Elite Four and even the Champion of every Region. They are lurking in the shadows until the right time comes. And you don’t want to be at the wrong side, Slade. Didn’t you run away from home to become a powerful trainer? We offer you that chance. Don’t you want to show the world what you can do?” Jory and Mareek Skrelp was caught off guard. The poison type underestimated the Togepi, especially when it started to Splash around, and didn’t pay any attention to the incoming attack. The world started to sway and so did the Togepi and its trainer. First it was left, than right, then left again and it confused the Skrelp. The future dragon type released Water Pulses at the same pace, from left to right and left again, completely missing the Togepi and giving it a free shot. DarkLight and Commander The little Deino didn’t pay any attention to where he was walking and bumped into Danielle. Curious as to why his way was blocked, he started to sniff the young coordinator. -
That's up to you. Celebi will disappear when Raiza shows up though. I just wanted you to follow the Litwick. It doesn't really matter if I lead you to Kage or you do it yourself. Edit: @DarkLight: There's enough time for Danielle to interact with the Little Deino.

It doesn't mean anything. It happened in the future and isn't set in stone. Based on the decisions you all make there are multiple outcomes. Ryan's 'death' was mainly used to show how dark things can (and probably will) get when you face RoG. I also introduced the possibility to befriend one legendary (no, you can't choose which one) and Kage was the perfect PC to do it. The last reason is that I'm starting the plot and used the vision to set things up for chapter 3. Kage will be the first PC that gets a hint of how to stop the vision from happening. I just figured protecting Ryan was the best motivation I could give him. I also decided to give only a glimpse of that situation. Of course there were other things going on and maybe even other people present. It all depends on the choices you all make and the first one that has to make a decision is Slade. Will he join 'Team Rocket' or not? If not: will he tell Mareek? If he does: What will Mareek do? Endless possibilities... And I won't kill any PC unless someone asks me to / forces me by being incredibly stupid and make the worst decision over and over again.

Turbo and Tses The Gible’s immediately split up to avoid being hit. Most of them took cover except two. They dodged the water gun and were surprised by the gust attack. One of them went underground to make its way to the Slowpoke and came back up from under the water type. The other one was blown away a little but recovered quickly and fired a Dragon Rage at Jet. Elf and Azery The Goodra’s were enjoying Claude’s hugs when some of them saw James nearby. They walked over and covered him in their goo as well. ((I’ll give you the chance to interact first. That might be better than what I planned at first xD)) Zephyr Lana mused. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to do either. She looked around in silence and noticed Litwick drifting off. “Uhm, Raiza, Lucifer is going to the caves on his own.” ((I’m going to lead you to Kage)) ExLink The Tangrowth didn’t react to Slade. Instead the leaves behind him made cracking noises and when he turned around he could see a large man. His shadow fell over his team member but on first sight that one was also male yet the latter had a much frailer build. Both of them wore the standard Team Rocket uniform. “Hello Slade, we’ve been monitoring you,” the frail one said with a feminine voice. It certainly didn’t fit her built but she was used people thought she was a man at first. “Hurry up! We don’t have all day!” the tall man’s voice was much deeper. The female hissed at him. “Shut up! We need to explain first or else he won’t join!” She turned back to Slade. “We’re members of Team Rocket and our scouting program picked you up. We’re currently rebuilding and will come back stronger than ever and we can use someone like you. We saw your battles, Slade. You’re the type of guy who pushes his Pokémon beyond their limits just to win. You might not realize this yet but your battle style doesn’t lie. You want power, don’t you? So what do you say? Care to join us?” Murdoc The Celebi ate the berry and nudged against Kage. It was such a familiar feeling even though technically they just met, at least according to the boy. “Bii” the small Pokémon said before falling asleep. -
I'll include him in the Goodra hugging action in the next update. (In a few hours. I don't have the time right now)
-
Thanks for the heads-up. There's no such thing as Thanksgiving here so I had no idea. xD Also: Evan will get a Swampert instead of a Donphan.
-
It was my intention to finish that. His next interaction is for later and isn't with Teach. Seriously? Last time I checked he pissed off Dragons. Edit: Oh well seems like a misunderstanding. I'll keep the Dragonite and let it think Kenny bullied some Dratini's while it were actually the Oshawott.

Turbo and Tses Not far from where Sissy and Robert were standing a group of Gibles were laughing and pointing at the silly humans. One of them saw Jet hovering and glared at the fellow Dragon type. ((Turbo you can decide if you want to go one vs one or a double battle with Sissy. If you go one versus one I’ll set Sissy up with something else)) Jory, Surge and Lucky Elf Mareek’s plan worked. Erce managed to lure the Goodra’s away from the boys and over to a giggling Claude. The friendly dragons recognized the young trainer as someone with a similar personality and decided to go over to give him a hug. Jacob and Mareek weren’t safe yet. A nearby Skrelp was staring at them, wondering why they ordered other Pokémon around like that. The poison type fired a Water Pulse straight at Jacob’s face. K_H Kenny and his team had sure done it now. By provoking and fighting the Dratini’s and Goomy’s, he managed to grab the attention of an angry Dragonite. The female dragon blew a forceful wind with her wings and growled in anger at the young trainer and his team. Zephyr “Actually I found one more,” Lana said cheerful. She released both Pokémon and a Turtwig and Shellos showed up. “I defeated the Turtwig in battle and Shellos just followed me around after I befriended her. I was thinking to make something by using them. What are you going to do?” ExLink The Swellow gave Flare a mocking look before nudging her beak around Slade’s headphones. With one swift movement she managed to grab the thing and retreated into the forest. She made sure Slade could follow her while avoiding the Frogadier and any other Pokémon. The flying type led him some distance away from the rest of the group before dropping the headphones on the ground next to a Tangrowth. After her delivery she flew back to her nest filled with shiny thingies leaving Slade alone. Murdoc The sound led Kage through a cave and a natural staircase. The closer the student got the more he realized the cry was only in his head. His Pokémon could hear the same thing, but none felt is as strong as Al’Thor and especially Lucas. The latter seemed to work as a sort of radio station that linked all their minds in a subconscious level Kage wasn’t aware of. When Kage entered the small plateau his Pokémon could see an exhausted and battered creature on the ground. A green fairy-like creature, with a head shaped like an onion, that had big blue eyes, two antennae on its head and a pair of clear wings stared at the group with sorrow in its eyes. The Celebi bowed a small apology. It knew Kage couldn’t see through his eyes, but there was a way around that problem; Lucas. The crying sound stopped as the little Pokémon focused the remainder of its power into showing her memories to Kage by using Lucas as a medium. Kage suddenly felt a really bad headache like something forced its way into his mind. Everything went white, an indescribable weird feeling, and an image formed in his head. Snow was all around him showing different shapes of footprints. Two were obviously human and the rest was a mix of all kinds of Pokémon. There were at least 4 different ones. A little ahead of Kage the frozen underground was visible on small spots and the place looked like a heavy storm recently hit there. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, he was much closer to the ravaged spot and saw two silhouettes. By inspecting closer he saw a Luxray howling to the sky and felt anger and sadness. The second silhouette belonged to a Walrein desperately nudging something that didn’t move in the snow. The Ice type’s snout was colored a deep red. Kage froze. The Luxray moved a little and showed a familiar face lying down in the snow. Ryan eyes stared into the sky. His bloodied face and shirt didn’t show any movement that indicated he was still breathing. The pool of deep red blood expanded and colored even more snow. Kage was overcome by grief and it took him a while to realize something else was wrong. The angle seemed way too low for someone his height. As he looked down he noticed he was sitting on his knees with bloodied hands and his clothes ripped apart. A big slash across his chest was still bleeding heavily. He couldn’t feel his knees or his legs anymore as the image faded into the darkness. The headache disappeared alongside the Celebi’s last power. Disorientated, exhausted and drained out of power it fell on the ground. At least it managed to warn Kage and Lucas about the future. ******************* Surge (Galen) “Not really,” Teach said “Just remember to use our contact, Evan Reeves, to deliver messages to our spy or us if necessary. We don’t want to risk any of you getting caught. Of course our spy will do the same thing. When he or she feels like contacting you it will always be through Evan. Right now we have a team that’s about to make contact with him so we’ll let you know how it goes. Your team will arrive one week before your mission starts. Of course they can only join you as soon as Redwood opens his gates for exchange students.” -
I was thinking about Masquerain but decided to go for Vivillon instead. And yes you can control both sides. You can even give one of them Dark Pulse if Danielle watches. The double battle Henry mentioned is a perfect opportunity. One of the Deino's can use Dark Pulse if he wants. If not I'll come up with something else.
-
I think so. Vincent has nothing to add to the conversation that happened between Hels and Siegfried.
-
I was thinking the same thing. It doesn't really rub me the wrong way but it just doesn't make sense why Dratini and Goomy (super friendly Pokémon) are fighting. Oh I thought you made stones to put in bracelets instead of stone bracelets... Anyway that's besides the point. 1. Are you punished or not? Because right now I have no idea if you're going to be around or not even if I go along with your event. 2. Roman and Phoebe would stop that battle so no one is attacking. You said your entire team is outnumbered 5 to 1. I would feel like I'm powerplaying you since I can do multiple attacks at once and leave no room for you to dodge. I can literally sweep your team in 2-3 posts if I wanted to. Edit: I'm going to update tomorrow. No one can follow Kage as he is the only one who heard it. (And yes, I'm using something Murdoc suggested when I made the interest check thread)

I know but it would be nice to get a heads up if he knows he can't post during weekends. I found out because Surge mentioned it in another RP I think. At least he posted today so now I need to figure out how to keep him involved so he doesn't end up missing the story.
-
I thought his time restriction only counts for the weekend? And I asked in a previous update and he just said Kenny was following around because there was nothing for him to do to develop as a character while I had things planned for him. He literally made bracelet stones when I placed him with Rebecca and Brendan and used those things to distract the Tyrunts and get away from them. (That's when he mentioned Kenny just follows around doing nothing) I honestly have no idea what to do with him. In Devin's garden I gave him a Druddigon event and he went to sleep. When I placed the Druddigon in front of him he just said 'What's up?' and left it at that.
-
Yes, max lvl 21. I planned something for Claude. I just want to see his reaction. And I might've used a dutch expression but basically he can see everything that happens to Jacob and Mareek.

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]
Chim replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Group 1 (Bfroger, Murdoc, Zephyr, EXLink) Lana had a smile on her face the entire time since they left the lake. Considering they went back to camp before heading out with Brendan and Rebecca, the smile was there for a long time. Rebecca just explained they were free to explore the area while Brendan was handing out cameras to those that wished to participate in the originality contest Devin came up with. Lana, who was standing close to Raiza, held two Pokéballs in her hands along with the camera. Neither Rhy nor Queen were out but it didn’t seem like she was about to release them. Maybe it was a Turtwig and another Pokémon? The Swellow, who failed to steal something last time, was tired of failure today and decided to use her gutsy approach again by landing on Slade’s shoulder. The redhead looked a little simple in the head so this had to be a piece of cake, right? In the meantime no one noticed a small weird ripple on top of the caves. A thud could be heard by the Pokémon living up there followed by a “Biii”. The weird Pokémon looked panicked and confused. She ignored the others and kept looking over her small shoulders like she was afraid something was hunting her. While she was doing that she quickly glanced over the students gathered in a grassy field beneath the rock area she was. The little Pokémon was about to fly away when she turned her attention back to the group. It couldn’t be, could it? Wasn’t that the human she saw just a few minutes ago? Her eyes searched for this human and she eventually found him, standing alone, closest to her than any other human. She recognized that face although he seemed a little different. His clothes weren’t the same and most of all: he wasn’t crying. What to do now? This boy was clearly a version from the one she was forced to leave but in another time ripple. Should she warn him? She had to do something to stop those horrible things from happening, right? That’s why she left in the first place. She closed her eyes and focused on the boy and his Pokémon. She felt he was different from the other humans. His bond with his Pokémon was on a much deeper level and their hearts were more linked and synchronized. Of course it was harder to reach him because the synchronization wasn’t as strong as she was used to. But still Kage and his Pokémon could hear a faint ‘Biii’. It was a strange sound that caused an irresistible feeling of following it. Group 2 (Commander and DarkLight) The students found themselves in the middle of a herd of Hydreigon. They already left Tyrantrum and Haxorus behind and for the third time Devin showed the dragons his respect. Their nests were up a hill but all the small ones were running in the forest at the base of it. ((I’m going to let you two start your events)) Group 3 (TurboAura, Tses, Tacos) After Alvin managed to heal his Heracross he didn’t talk much anymore. Instead he seemed to be in deep thoughts about how to win next time. Every now and then people could hear him mumble certain attacks and potential battle scenarios. It wasn’t until they reached the sandbox and he saw a Joltik in a tree that he snapped out of it. The Gibles were prepared for this. They knew one last group was coming and instead of playing the usual game they made a pitfall trap. It was right in front of Sissy and Robert. The little Gibles were snickering while looking at the duo and waiting for either of them to fall in. Ryan could see them laughing but had no idea why. Group 4 (K_H, Surge, Jory, Azery, Lucky Elf) Java’s attack hit Torkoal. The Tortoise got angered even more. Not only did that thing save the annoying bug, but it also attacked from behind. Torkoal tried to turn back and noticed that its body was much more stiff than usual. The Tri Attack managed to paralyze it. Annoyed and angry it decided to retreat. A little while later the group found themselves at the lake. James could see some Dratini and Horsea swimming while Jacob and Mareek were surrounded by friendly looking Goodra who closed in on them to give the boys a gooey hug. Everything happened in front of Claude. ((You all have time to react before I start the events. Azery: you can control that Dratini if you’re going to catch it. K_H: If you are still around; the same goes for you when it comes to Oshawott. If you still want it of course)) -
I don't go for balance with them. I already gave Lana Rhyperior / Nidoqueen / Torterra / Gastrodon. Probably going to add Hippowdon and Gliscor to that. Her extras are probably going to be Claydol and Quagsire or Mamoswine. Alvin: Heracross / Vespiquen / Crustle / Galvantula / Vivillon and Scolipede. Reserves: Durant and either Pinsir or Accelgor. Edit: Dobby and Surge: Is it alright if I finish this battle? It's your win.
-
I'm trying to give the NPCs unique Pokémon. It's a lot easier if they just go for one type like Lana and Alvin. But with so many people around it's almost impossible. 700+ Pokémon and everyone goes for the same ones...
-
Notus was the only one who planned having a Gyarados as far as I know. The only one I planned for Evan is Medicham. That's probably going to be his Mega.
-
It's just an idea. I'm not sure if I'm going through with it. And if you want a Sandstream Pokémon you can also go for Hippowdon.
