  1. I have to pass for now. I've got a few more busy days coming and the rest of my time goes into the RP's I'm already in. I will be reading along when you start this so I might join in then if there is room.
  2. Sigurd wasn’t impressed. In fact, he wasn’t convinced they were dealing with a god at all. He ignored Helzebeth, who called him a sir, and walked back to the middle of the table. “So you claim to be Bartimis, huh? Well, I don’t believe you,” he claimed. “You see, gods are supposed to be all powerful deities. Pure, strong and beautiful like the Lady Aelia! And yet you claim Big Belly over there saved your life while you were pretending to be a goat? Ha! You won’t fool me!” “If you are a god, prove it. One of those shards belonged to you, right? Where is it?”
  3. Poor Aurelia. Such a sweet and innocent girl... Who said anything about there being a sprinkler system?
  4. It means Growlithe can walk around in the fire without taking damage, but not absorb it. And any fire type moves will power up.
  5. Scorpio looked at the Chimchar with a face full of questions, but he held in. “Well, I guess that works. Good to know you aren’t completely useless. Let’s move on!” he said while grabbing one of those spikes.
  6. To be fair I planned something similar with another character (one of the NPC's), but this is working out in my favor So what will you do? Will you stay or will you go back?
  7. There were no other rooms available. Brian and Ezekiel had no other option then to bunk with Aurelia if they wanted to get some rest. Little did they know that within 2 hours Teach would show up again.
  8. Stratos and EXLink Erce’s attack failed as most of her fakes were caught in the threads that were already up (String Shot). All 3 Ariados managed to dodge, while their leader crashed against the wall. It got up pretty quickly, clicking with its pinchers again. It was about to retaliate, when the String Shot threads caught fire. The fire spread quickly, burning thread after thread and making its way to the furniture, trapping all 5 Ariados. (One is still K.O.) DarkLight and Dobby Rhyhorn followed Danielle, curious as to whom this new person was. It entered her bedroom and simply stared at her before lying down again and falling asleep. Meanwhile Lana heard noises outside her room. She could hear her roommate, or so she assumed, talking to someone else. She opened the door to let the hasty Murkrow out and followed it. Avis flew straight into Danielle’s bedroom and found a spot on her bed. Lana, who was rather shy, stayed outside. “Uhm… hello, I’m Lana.” ((You had to run into the Rhyhorn. Your dorm is like an apartment with 2 separate single bedrooms. As soon as you enter you come into the small kitchen and living room. Rhyhorn was there)) Bfroger6 Tyron waited awkwardly for a response. “What’s up, Kid? Lost your tongue? Where are your friends?” Jory, Murdoc and Tacos Devin sighed; all those students asking him questions at the same time, but leaving before he could answer them. They all misunderstood the situation. Sawsbuck would never enter academy ground. He was the one who made sure nothing else entered, especially on the first day. But on student had drawn his attention: Tshukihashi Kageharu. Something wasn’t right about that one. Just as Phoebe decided to leave the table, another student popped up introducing himself as Jacob. “Hello, Jacob. Welcome to the Academy,” he said, picking up the Trapinch. “A future dragon, huh? I’ve trained many Flygon in my years, I have one myself, and I must admit that this Trapinch looks very healthy.” Devin ran his finger over the mouth and studied it. “This one has a lot of potential,” he said after a little while. In the meantime his eye fell on Kage and Ryan, who sat back at their table. “By the way, what do you know about your friend Tshukihashi Kageharu?” He asked, handing the Trapinch back over. TurboAura No matter how hard Robert tried, he couldn’t find a way into the forest. The gate was locked and the fence was too high to climb. And to top it off; he felt like he was being watched. He only had two options. Either he had to go back to his friends or he stayed a little while longer to find a way in. But who knows what might happen if he chose the second option? K_H and commander Professor Redwood was on his way to the Contest Hall. It was 4 PM and he was about to do a last check, when he bumped into Kenny. “Oh I’m so sorry about that. I wasn’t really paying attention where I was going, are you alright?” Meanwhile a Vulpix arrived on the scene, drawing Redwood’s attention. “Is this little one yours?” *************************** Phoebe left the cafeteria. Every year the same thing happened. Students admired Devin, ignoring the rest of the staff. And as soon as one of them mentioned a dragon type, she was out. Devin had the tendency to already start preaching on how to take care of them and she didn’t really want to hear it. And that’s how she ended up walking around campus. She still had 2 hours before the Redwood’s speech and didn’t feel like going there already. She decided to check the forest gates when she noticed smoke coming out of the boy’s dorms. Her instincts took over as she grabbed a Pokéball while running towards the smoke. If it hadn’t cleared when she arrived, someone would have to sleep in a very, very soaked bedroom.
  9. Sleep is a killer in this RP. So many questions. I'll post it in the IC as soon as I catch up with everything. Yes. Not everyone stays at the same level. Some get early xp. You can't enter. And no plan will work to get in there. I need to read it first but if Growlithe used ember in a place filled with burnable spider threads... @EXLink: 4 attacks and 2 support moves are the maximum at all times.
  10. Sigurd, still not realizing they were dealing with a god, walked over. “What’s the point in this? Let’s just ask the thing were those shards are. It’s as simple as that!”
  11. Darklight and Dobby Lana chuckled a bit at the sight Murkrow. She was almost finished with unpacking and decided to go look for its trainer after. Meanwhile her Rhyhorn woke up, attracted by the noises it heard by the door. Tacos, Jory, Murdoc, Can’t Type and commander When James and Henry came closer to the table, they heard the woman speak with a teasing tone. “Ooh we got some curious ones,” Phoebe said with a grin. “Those are always the troublemakers!” Devin ignored her as he turned around. “You’re the student from earlier,” he said after seeing Ryan. “And I’m afraid you misunderstood. There isn’t really an issue, only Sawsbuck that isn’t present so I locked the gates for safety reasons. Some Pokémon in the forest aren’t that friendly to young trainers,” he said, thinking about a specific troublemaker. “Anyway, who are your friends?” ((Murdoc: If Kage isn’t wearing his sunglasses; Devin will realize something’s wrong)) Notus Eevee walked over towards the Mudkip and started sniffing. “Veeee!” “That means he likes your Mudkip,” Evan said. “And no, I never really thought about it. Besides, if he wants to evolve I better name him something that fits. But apparently he already decided to become a Vaporeon so I’m still trying to find something. Maybe you have an idea? After all, you’re the water type expert” Bfroger Tyron entered the cafeteria and saw Shiro sitting alone and keeping his head low. Unfortunately for the student Tyron was very loud and always attracted attention. “What’s wrong, kid?” he asked, being his usual loud self, causing some people to look Shiro’s way. “Why are you sitting alone? Shouldn’t you get to know your fellow students and make some friends?” Stratos and EXLink Mareek used a solid strategy, but the swarm of Ariados wasn’t exactly made of pushovers. One of them jumped in front of their leader and took the attack head-on, knocking it out. The other three spread their threads throughout the room, before simultaneously attacking. This time they fired another type of thread, with the arrow shaped head. At least one of them hit successfully and started to drain Scyther’s energy. (Leech Life) Meanwhile the leader launched a sneaky attack. It extended its shadow and aimed it at the Growlithe. ((TurboAura and K_H: I'm going to wait until you move again))
  12. Have fun explaining that one when your room burns down xD Anyway: Can't Type, you're missing out on the action and I'm confused. First you post that James is in the room and after that he's suddenly outside waving at his roommate. So I kinda need to know where you are to include you in the story... Never mind. Seriously weird that they pop up somewhere in between while I'm pretty sure they weren't there before...
  13. Just don't burn down the place. One of you still needs to sleep in that room.
  14. As Brian and Ezekiel moved towards the rooms, they noticed some other recruits standing outside. They could recognize some of them from the boat. “There isn’t enough room. Half of it was already filled by others!” one of them complained. “Go up the stairs further down the hallway. There are some more rooms there,” a bored looking guy answered before walking away. Brian and Ezekiel had no choice but follow the directions. The hallway was, just like the rooms, sober grey without any decorations. Apparently RoG members didn’t care about a comfortable hide-out. As soon as they arrived at the upper floor, which looked exactly the same aside from a number 2 on the wall instead of 1, they found a room that was more or less empty. A pale girl was sitting on one of the beds. She looked rather frail, had long blonde hair and her eyes had different colors.
  15. I mentioned 4 OP Pokémon that are living in the forest (or can enter it), I did that for a reason. If you missed it it's in the first post under the forest section. @RoG members: I'll get to an update. I just need to get Snap in first.
  16. Yes, they are more free to decide when they catch one since I don't have plans for them. Especially if you're going to release some of them like you asked earlier.
  17. Notus “I’ve never been to Sootopolis before,” Evan said. “I haven’t left Lilycove much. And no, my brother decided to go to the Hoenn Academy instead. He said something about conquering it from the inside.” It wasn’t a complete lie, but Evan didn’t feel like opening up to someone he just met. Truth was his brother was still recovering and they simple couldn’t effort it. The only reason Evan was here was because he saved the money he earned from a part-time job. “Speaking about water types, I’m thinking of letting my Eevee evolve into a Vaporeon. I showed it a books once will all the possible evolutions and it definitely liked the idea.” And right on that moment, like Eevee was waiting for an introduction, it showed up from behind the sofa, sat down in front of Colin and looked at him curiously. Stratos and EXLink As soon as Slade and Mareek peeked inside the bedroom, they could see several Ariados moving around. There were 5 of them and by the looks of it they were creating a web. One of them reacted when the door swung open and raised its pinchers in an aggressive way. The other 4 soon followed its example. Apparently someone had forgotten to lock the windows before. DarkLight and Dobby Lana heard some weird ticking noise. She looked around for a moment and soon realized it came from a Murkrow at the window. Or was it a Murkrow? It had something weird on its head and she couldn’t quite identify the weird creature. Only when she came closer and opened the window, she realized there was a Cottonee. “Hello, where did you two come from?” she asked when the Murkrow hopped inside. ((Btw all the rooms are singles)) Bfroger6 When Shiro tried to enter the forest, he noticed the gates were locked. ((Only the forest has a gate aside from the entrance. The dorms are free to enter.)) Jory, Murdoc and Tacos When Ryan came back with his food and the students started to concentrate on their food, they could hear a parts of a conversation. “I don’t know. I only followed professor Redwood’s instructions and locked the gate,” a tall man, even when sitting, said. He had red hair and probably a beard as well. It wasn’t all that clear from their point of view, since his back was faced their way, but they might still recognize him as Devin Cadmus. “So what if he’s not here? Let the guy have a break! Even Pokémon deserve one once in a while you know,” his conversation partner said. She was still wearing a name tag with Phoebe on it. She had her long blonde hair in a ponytail. “It’s not like him to miss the first day. He usually keeps an eye on the newcomers and the Rookie. Who knows what that one is up to? He might pull something tonight so I’ve decided to keep an eye out…” ((Tacos: Food is free on the first day. I'll explain later why))
  18. Sigurd would probably waste a question without realizing it. xD I'll get a post up later but someone should stop him xD
  19. Screw it. Forum is really slow right now especially when quoting and editing. @Tacos and your question about the cafeteria: Just use it. It's a basic cafeteria, nothing fancy. There are some people there cooking hot meals and such. (I think this is frequently used in America. At least it's like that in series and movies xD) @Bfroger6: You'll get your second one. After that I'm giving options to catch, but not all of them. You can also choose to capture one in the forest and normally you should end up with 6-10 Pokémon. And I got 1 'event' planned.
  20. That battle was to show you what kind of people join RoG. Not all of them are like that though. This. More about it later when I do Redwood's speech. Also I noticed I've been naming one of my characters Devin Jones instead of Devin Cadmus. And today I found out why. Devin Jones is a character in a book I read a little while ago. So when you see me using that name tell me. Since that's in my head right now it might pop up again. And updates are coming. I was busy for an entire day and haven't had access to a computer.
  21. Notus “Go ahead. I don’t care much about colors so I’m fine with the green one,” Evan said following Colin. When he first entered he hadn’t paid much attention to the books., besides that they were for students following the trainer program. “I’m from Lilycove City in Hoenn. I joined the Trainer Program so my brother and I can aim for the Hoenn League. Our dream is to conquer it, you know, as brothers standing at the top would be pretty cool,” he said with a large grin. “What about you? Where are you from?
  22. I won't use any moves to OHKO. And no matter how strong the Pokémon, if the trainer is useless they won't do much damage.
  23. Both the Spearow and Raticate were thrown back, driving Gustavo to the edge. “Useless!” he hissed. “Those things are completely useless! If you want something done, do it ya self.” He glared at Brian and reached for something in his pocket, before suddenly charging at him. “STOP! THAT’S ENOUGH!!” Teach’s voice range loud and clear through the small room, catching everyone of guard. Some started to look around and noticed small holes in the corners where small cameras and microphones could be hidden. The blonde woman that was teasing Ezekiel sighed. “Guess that’s my cue,” she said before walking over and flipping Gustavo over her shoulder. She smashed his face to the ground and planted her knee in his back. “Where did you get that rock?” she asked. “Well, doesn’t matter. You probably picked it up somewhere between the rubber boats and this place.” She stood up removing the dust from her clothes. “Now, where were we, cutie?” she asked Ezekiel like nothing happened. “DON’T IGNORE ME YA BITCH!” Gustavo yelled. “I CAN TAKE YA!” The nameless woman just laughed. “Please, your Raticate is much higher leveled, yet you were unable to beat your opponent with it. Your skills are pathetic.” “Then I’ll just smash your face in with my bare hands!” he yelled charging in. All his opponent did was open up a Pokéball and Gustavo hit the ground once again; strangled by an Arbok. “Bring him to Command,” was all she said before the snake slithered out the door, still strangling Gustavo who tried to break lose. “This happens every year, but this one sure takes the cake in terms of stupidity and aggression,” the blonde said. “Anyway, my name is Melody and I’m a RoG member. I’ll be one of your supervisors during training. That’s all I have to say so I suggest you rest up while you can.” She gave Ezekiel a quick wink before leaving the room. Other recruits started moving and left the small room, some mumbling about what just happened. They took a left and one by one they entered one of the 7 rooms available. All of them had the same basic lay-out. Two bunk beds, one on each side of the room, and a small wardrobe in the middle of the last wall. There wasn’t any luxury.
  24. Weird that I missed that... But go with Snowpoint. It's a lot easier if only the cities mentioned in games are used.
