    The roots were powerful enough to force the gate open. The opening was small so only someone who was close to the gate would notice. That way Slade was able to enter and as soon as Flare followed, the roots shut the gate again. But the lock is broken so anyone can enter now.

    Dobby “Why would I alter your room when they are my bugs? Alvin asked. “And you really ask stupid questions, of course I only have my beautiful Combee for now. We’re only allowed to bring with Pokémon with us after all.” Can’t Type “I need to test the sound installation one more time. You’re going to help me, all you have to do is go to the spots I tell you and say how the sound quality is,” Tyron said, still dragging James along. “Professor Redwood’s speech is in one hour. We don’t have much time.” DarkLight(1) “Wait for me!” Lana yelled, running after Danielle Notus Phoebe sighed after all students, except Colin, left. She shook her head and went after them leaving Blastoise behind. After a minute or so, Evan suddenly popped up. “Hey man, what’s with all the commotion?” he asked. “Oh and nice Blastoise, is he yours?” he added sarcastically. DarkLight(2), Bfroger, Stratos, Murdoc, Jory, Tacos, Commander, K_H and TurboAura All parties ran into each other simultaneously, right between the dorms and forest. “Phoebe! What’s going on?” Devin asked in a demanding tone and for the very first time, the students could feel his authority “We’re running after a kid that set his dorm on fire. Apparently he thinks he got expelled… like he’s not the first to do it and certainly not the last. I mean, on my first day I set an entire hallway blank…” “That’s not important now. What happened to the fire?” “It was already out when I arrived,” Phoebe replied. She felt this wasn’t one of those times she could mess around with Devin. When it involved students and their safety he took everything dead serious. “Where is that student now? And do you know his name?” Devin asked. “He ran off that way,” Phoebe pointed in the direction of the forest. “I didn’t catch his name, but he had a Growlithe.” “Mhm he shouldn’t be able to enter the forest since I locked it myself… and that student, I remember one with a Growlithe… Could it be the runaway?” he mumbled more to himself while thinking aloud. “Is his name Slade?” he asked the group, hoping someone would know and speak up. EXLink The gate slammed shut after Slade, followed by Flare, entered the forest. Slade ran deeper and deeper inside the forest. It got visibly darker and the trees stood closer to each other. Wild Pokémon watched him from every side, but the young student didn’t notice; until he ran into a sleeping Ralts. It wouldn’t be a strange sight if the Ralts wasn’t sleeping while hanging upside down from a tree. Slade stopped running and was about to inspect the strange phenomenon when Flare finally caught up. The growlithe barked towards his trainer to let him know he was there, when a strange green powder caught them both off guard. They soon fell asleep before thick branches hang them upside down next to the Ralts. Time: 5.12 PM

    In the Forest: Meanwhile poor little Shun was running around the forest looking for its trainer. He ran into a different bunch of Pokémon, but none seemed to be able to help him. And to make it worse: Shun was lost and felt like something was watching him. At the Forest Gate: A big root came from the edge of the trees and made its way to the gate. No one was there to see the strange movements it made to make its way to the lock. It tried to break the lock and when that didn’t work, the root wrapped itself around the two middle bars and forced the gate open, before retreating back into the forest. The opening was small and barely noticeable. Only if someone walked up close they would be able to see it. Time: 4.53 PM

    Btw I found it funny how Colin was all: 'Woooaaah a Blastoise!' and completely missed that stone around the neck.

    I'm going to start moving people to the Contest Hall after the interactions finish. I'm only waiting to see what Turbo and Bfroger are going to do.

    K_H and commander Brendan was taking a break in the lab when he saw the battle unfold. He quickly called Rebecca over to grab a camera and tape everything. They were sure professor Redwood and Devin would be interested… Notus, Stratos, Tacos and EXLink Phoebe sprinted towards room 213 with Blastoise behind her. She arrived just after Ryan, shoving everyone out of her way. “Hydro Pump!” she yelled, pointing in an energetic way at the room filled with smoke. Blastoise aimed his cannons when he only saw Slade and a group of agitated Ariados at the window. “What are you waiting for?” the young teacher asked impatient. Apparently Blastoise was used to his trainer’s antics as he just pointed in the room. All Phoebe saw when she looked was the Ariados leaving, scared by the fire. She pouted a bit, disappointed she couldn’t hydro pump things, and turned her attention to the gathered students. “Alright brainiac’s, what happened?” Dobby “I’m glad you asked! I remodeled it to fit my bug types, isn’t it beautiful?” Alvin said, feeling proud. He completely ignored the question about Doux. Since she wasn’t a bug type, he had no interest in her. Bfroger and Can’t Type Shiro’s outburst caught Tyron off guard. “Why didn’t you say something earlier?” he asked. He stared at Shiro’s back while the by left. “Strange kid,” he said to James when his eye fell on the clock. “I’m late! Professor Redwood is expecting me; you’re coming with me to help!” No matter what James did, Tyron had a firm grip on his wrist. He could only go with him to the Contest Hall. ((I’m moving you forward for now. I will do this with some others as well.)) Murdoc and Jory Devin listened amused to the passionate young trainer in front of him. It reminded him about how he used to be. “While I do have experience with other types, Dragons always were my favorites…” Devin started, getting into his teacher modus, when Kage showed up. “A fire?” Devin knocked his seat over and took immediately off. If Kage and Jacob wanted to catch up they had to be fast. DarkLight Lana chuckled a bit. “No, Avis didn’t give me any trouble. She was rather amusing.” The young breeder looked at Avis for a while before questioning Danielle’s next answer. “We parents breed certain ground types at home, including Rhyhorn. Rhy was the first one I hatched on my own. I guess he’s so fast because we used to run around together… but he kinda always outran the others…” she paused for a moment. “How is Kalos? Isn’t that far from here?”

    It's still weird xD You can do it, but Devin won't respond to it. He'll just feel awkward. Don't care. The entire system that I use in this RP is because of things like this happening in the past. It's about the only thing you can do that's a guaranteed ticket back home.

    Let me tell you what happens when a BS battle like that happens when I'm online: Option 1: You battle like that in the forest: Sawsbuck will annihilate you. He will attack you directly and your PC will end up severely injured. Option 2: You battle like that anywhere else: A teacher (most likely Devin) will annihilate you. You will be severly punished (as school policy is to teach students how to be responsible with Pokémon), your Pokémon will be taken away from you for a while and they will keep a close eye on you. If you do it again: So many thing will happen to your PC. Blacklist, danger to train Pokémon, ... No Pokémon for a very, very long time. Strike 3: you are out.

    Yes, but I think I need a co-host for this to keep the activity going. Not that I can't handle it, but more like timezones are a pain for this one. Even though I live in the center of the world

    Ok I just read everything. K_H and Commander: If any teacher saw that battle... Devin and Redwood would flip to say the least.

    Wow 1 day without PC access... Ok: here we go: @Whoever mentioned berries (Too lazy to go back): You have access to them, you just can't use them in battles. Fire extinguishers are there, I just wanted Phoebe to go wild Already planned that one as soon as you mentioned 'afraid of rock types'. He will also get a Galvantula. They run around in the forest. You just have to look hard. (Tyrantrum is the only one that isn't there) </3. 1) The gates will open, but only when I say so. 2) I've been keeping the 'higher up's' away every time you encounter one. (Like Redwood taking off, same will happen to the rest). And yes, this is for a reason. 3) Nope. Not going to work. 4) Same as above Tyron has other plans. In my next update I'm going to move some people to the Contest Hall. Shun won't be attacked by Spinarak (too predictable). He would be safe with Lapras, but she's too far. Sawsbuck is gone, Trevenant doesn't care. I was totally planning that He's 48... Just.. I don't know what to say to this.

    K_H “Interesting color,” Redwood said studying the Riolu in front of him. “But this is no time to be distracted, I’m afraid. I have to go to the Contest Hall now, preparations and stuff. I hope you’ll enjoy your stay here and good luck with your studies!” He fastened his pace and seemed to be in deep thoughts again, leaving Kenny behind. Notus Evan and his partner followed Colin. They went down the stairs and were about to leave the dorms, when a young woman bumped into Evan, knocking him on the ground. “Hey, watch where you’re going!” the student said, a bit angered. “I can say the same to you! Don’t you smell that? Someone set his dorm on fire!” Phoebe rushed past Colin and released her Blastoise. From Colin's point of view he could a weird stone around it's neck. “Let’s go,” she ordered her strongest partner, ignoring the two teenagers behind her. Dobby “How should I know? I’m not the one that passed out,” Alvin said before returning to his creation. “Is that your Cottonee? It’s not bad, I guess. You know, for not being a bug type that is.” Can’t Type and Bfroger Tyron turned around when he heard James talking to him. “Ooh, I remember you! The hasty one filled with energy!” he laughed before taking a serious expression again. “This kid in front of me doesn’t talk. He completely ignores everyone. I think he might be deaf or something…” DarkLight “Sure, I’ll help… I guess. C’mon Rhy, let’s go!” The Rhyhorn, who was sound asleep a second ago, suddenly woke up and started moving. It jogged towards the door as if it heard what both girls were planning. ((Just take Lana along with you. She can follow you around for now.))

    Btw Turbo: the gate is a normal one made of iron bars. Small Pokémon can get through. And only skilled or powerful onces can get over it. (Like the Ariados) And I'm updating right now.

    Bfroger6 Tyron felt lost and didn’t know what to do. He never had to deal with a student like Shiro before who refused to answer… He thought it over for a moment, considering how to deal with the situation. Could it be this boy can’t speak? Is he a mute by any chance? Or maybe he’s deaf! Damn it, I should’ve read the new name list! “CAN.YOU.HEAR.ME?” he asked really loud. “WHAT.IS.YOUR.NAME?” Jory Devin noticed the expression change on Jacob’s face and had enough experience to know what it meant. He’s covering for his friend. There’s no need to ask any further. He decided to go along with the change in subject. Not that it mattered much because he would find out anyway. “Where are you from then? Going by your accent, I’d say somewhere from Unova.” Notus “Yeah, I guess you’re right. I’m just not very good when it comes to nicknaming.” Evan said, watching Colin move his books. He didn’t bother since he still had stuff to unpack. “And I haven’t really explored the ground yet so I’ll guess I’ll tag along. Anything specific you want to see first? I’m kinda tempted to visit the Arena.” DarkLight Lana watched Claude flee in panic. “Uhm…Did I do something wrong?” Dobby Alvin was admiring his work when he heard the door go open followed by a noise of someone falling on the ground. He turned around the corner when he saw Claude lying in the doorway. Not sure what to do, since he barely talked to people, he walked over and poked his roommate in the ribs. “Oi, what happened? Are you alright?” His Combee flew over and hovered over Claude’s face. Can’t Type James eardrums almost exploded. If he looked at his left, he could see an adult in a sweatshirt trying to talk to a student. The adult, Tyron, still wore his tag upside down and seemed determined to find a friend for Shiro...

    I try to include you as much as I can. However most others miss your posts and move on. Isn't there anything you can do about having a mod approve your posts first? She's right outside so you'll probably will. Unless Stratos and EXLink can solve their little fire...

    Before I get the story moving I'll wait for some people to finish up. And since I won't have much time tomorrow, the Contest Hall thing will happen saturday I think.

    You don't have to fix it since you can assume there is one. However the Academy has its own 'fire fighter squad'. *coughPhoebecough*
