I actually breed an archeops with eq so yeah it is possible, however it will take awhile since corsola has a 1/4 chance of being male and archen has 1/8 of being female. Oh and just a warning when breeding corsola with archen make sure TO LEVEL CORSOLA TO AT LEAST 23 BEFORE BREEDING IT WITH ARCHEN, why? Corsola learns a ton of moves early on and if you leave it too long in the day care the day care people will delete eq for some other move, trust me this happened to me it was not fun.

Venonat/Venomoth Tier: at least B maybe A Availability: Early Stats: Average Move Pool: Average Back in ep 10 I made a review on venonat/venomoth and called it a medicore pokemon at best, but a lot has changed in reborn and fortune has smiled upon the queen of butterflies. While it still suffers from its abysmal early game its mid game got improved tremendously, with gen 6 changes both quiver dance and bug buzz venomoth's two best moves became rememorable from the move relearner and in the same episode many more heart scales were added to the early game allowing venomoth to both moves early on. This is huge, by the time venomoth gets these moves very few pokemon have access to strong base power moves like bug buzz and fewer (I can really only think of simple swoobat with calm mind) have a powerful boosting move like quiver dance. In addition, Venomoth has access to sleep powder for safe boosting letting it easily set up and sweep. So overall I argue that venonat/venomoth should get bumped up to at least B maybe even A.

That's a pretty cool idea, but you have to remember Ame doesn't like rare pokemon, she changed up all the old 3% pokemon so they appear uncommonly at certain times of the day or other places (Yamma now appears in the morning nidos are now uncommon in the wasteland tunnels) and with the exception of evolved pokemon the lowest encounter rate is 10% i believe. Still a cool idea though and it would be a breath of fresh air to see more diversity in more peoples teams.

I actually have both pokemon on my team the arcanine has flamethrower, outrage, flare blitz, and extrmeme speed the acrcheops has u turn, rock slide, acrobatics, and eq. If your going for physical arcanine I highly recommend cc on it and keep crunch I regret deleting it for outrage. Outrage is not that good on arcanine,it doesn't do as much a i hoped for due to lack of STAB and it locks your self in meaning you will get revenged killed if the opponent brings in something faster or can take an outrage . As for archeops try breeding eq on to it so it doesn't get walled by rock and steel types but this took me like 5 hours+ and I wound up with a shiny archen and shiny corsola when i was done.

Pyroar is not bad I think, though some other good alternatives are houndoom who has the more useful dark typing, arcanine who can easily go mixed but will take a lot effort to get its best moves, chandelure beast special attack, and typhlosion which is kind of has a lacking movepool but once it gets lava plume its good.
