Yveltal yessss but X exclusives seem better! I dont know anymore.

Anyway, going down to the store today to buy a 3DS before the crowd (probably a good move)

  2. Righto, I haven't battled online in a LONG time, only just getting back into it recently. So rusty, forgotten a lot of things. Before I start, I have to stress that I'm not an expert. I learnt online battling by myself and my lack of experience gets the better of me Here's the team I'm running at the moment, it's not the best but it seems to work well for me. I think this was the first team I've ever built myself and so far I've been pleased with the results. This is a Showdown team...I haven't actually used PO yet! Really should get around to it... At a Glance... So without further ado... The Team: Strategy: Cripple the threats with Cofag, bludgeon everything with Victini. Lol. NeinWails @ Leftovers Ability: Drought EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP Timid Nature Moves: Heat Wave, Substitute, Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot Obviously needed in every OU Sun Team in the game. Ideally I don't want him to stay on the field for very long so I haven't really bothered with coverage and survivability. That hasn't come back to haunt me just yet, so I've left Ninetails as it is. Heat Wave for me is more reliable than Fire Blast, Dark Pulse is there in case some cheeky Shadow Tag Chandelures pop up, and Substitute for scouting. If I do get the sub up, I can go for the Nasty Plot as well. Uranusaur @ Leftovers Ability: Chlorophyll EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP Adamant Nature Moves: Sleep Powder, Growth, Earthquake, Seed Bomb Although the Sun literally screams out "use HP Fire!", I've decided to go for a Physical set just to balance out my abundance of special attackers. While I'm a firm believer of Speed, I don't believe in unnecessary Speed, so I've gone with an Adamant nature rather than Jolly. Sleep Powder usually allows it to set up a free Growth, allowing it to deal decent damage on whatever comes in. Earthquake is extremely useful against Heatran, who pretty much walls most of my team, though most of the time I find myself needing to get rid of the commonly used Air Balloon. Venusaur's probably my only reliable counter against Sand, so it's a vital part of the team. ESPN @ Choice Scarf Ability: Magic Bounce EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP Timid Nature Moves: Psyshock, Signal Beam, Shadow Ball, HP Ice I'll usually lead off with Espeon if Ninetales isn't a viable option, in case of any entry hazards. Espeon is in the team for type coverage, and to get some surprise damage off a few Dragons with HP Ice. Shadow Ball is used to take out anything that resists Psyshock. Signal Beam for the Dark types. Espeon's a frail Pokemon, but I find it's able to take hits relatively well enough, not to mention its ability to hit back hard. Martini @ Choice Scarf Ability: Victory Star EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP Jolly Nature Moves: V-Create, Bolt Strike, Zen Headbutt, U-Turn My revenge killer. Basically, 90% of my kills come from this guy. Not many Pokemon can survive a Sun-powered V-Create. A lot of people expect Banded Victinis for some reason, so having a Choice Scarf seems to surprise people (I've received a few "WTFs"), allowing me to get a free hit in (often OHKO). Bolt Strike helps with dealing with Rain teams, and Zen Headbutt takes advantage of STAB. U-Turn for scouting and running away. EcoCig @ Leftovers Ability: Mummy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD Bold Nature Moves: Pain Split, Will-O-Wisp, Shadow Ball, Haze My go-to guy for dealing with those pesky set-up movesets by using Haze. I've gone with Sp. Def EVs rather than a Def, because I believed Will-O-Wisp would be enough to deal with any physically strong opponents. Shadow Ball is there to kill off any stubborn Pokemon who aren't switching out. Unfortunately recovery is an issue, and Pain Split can be unreliable at times...Nonetheless, this guy can actually wall the likes of Metagross and Conkeldurr quite well... TakeDaPiss @ Choice Specs Ability: Volt Absorb EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD Timid Nature Moves: Thunderbolt, Focus Blast, HP Ice, Volt Switch My Rain team counter. While Thunder is 100% accuracy in rain, having the Sun up against non-Rain teams cripples Thundurus-T's STAB attack, so I've settled for T-bolt. HP Ice for Sand teams and Dragons, and Volt Switch to get the hell outta there...Oh, yeah. I chose Thundurus over Raikou because its secondary Flying type lets me switch him into Earthquakes from the likes of Landorus and Garchomp, then SURPRISE HP ICE. The main threats to my team are Latios/Latias, who are resilient enough to take a few hits from Espeon. If Venusaur's down, Heatran can become a real handful as well. Terrakion is also dangerous but normally I can take it out with Victini if I time things right. If Gliscor comes in when I'm not usign Espeon or Thundurus things can get pretty bad as well. I tend to lose one or two Pokemon early on due to error of judgment but Victini's saved my butt countless times. Out of about 30 or 40 matches I've played (yeah, I don't battle much...) I've probably won just over half of them? Not bad by my standards Before settling with these 6 I tried using a Life Orb Mamoswine instead of Espeon, which provided much better type coverage and balance to the team, but I find it gets turned to mincemeat quite easily. Ooh ooh, and hazards. Other than Espeon, I got nuthin'. Any suggestions for improvement are welcome, especially if it's for dealing with threats. Import if you want...
  3. There are no legendary Pokemon until after the Elite 4. 6th Gen Pokemon won't be in the game for a while because it's difficult to code. This is the list of all the Pokemon you can get at the moment but it should all be mentioned here already. http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/obtainable.html
  4. Mining is the same everywhere. Bysbyxion, Tanzan, Apophyll Cave all have rocks to mine and they all give the same stuff. Just be careful, they are limited, so save before you mine and keep restarting until you get what you want.
  5. From what I remember: Fire stone = Pyrous Mountain Water stone = Aqua/Magma gang mission Thunderstone = only available through mining Leaf stone = can't remember, get it through mining Dawn Stone = Bysbyxion Wasteland Dusk Stone = Railnet (after beating Shade) Shiny Stone = Azurine Island Moon Stone = PICKUP ARMY Sun Stone = can't remember
  6. I hope you mean the Smeargle, not the Starly :l
  7. I read somewhere that the broken down gym was El's Gym, so I don't think Fairy Type has even been considered at the moment.
  8. having phanpys is so much more badass tho
  9. Right, I officially can't decide between X and Y. X seems to have better exclusive Pokes, but Yveltal <3 WHAT TO DO?! (no I can't get both, I'm poor) Also, 2DS or second hand 3DS (only $10 more than 2DS)?
  10. Er...are you wondering how long it takes? If you use the CheatEngine to speed up Reborn, the Pickup Army should make you about $100,000 every 20 minutes. Meowth learns Pay Day at Lv 30.
  11. *pulls out dictionary* uhh... Evisceration
  12. I once named my character "an ass"... "Oh, I see! You're an ass who's moving to my hometown of Littleroot!" My rival, as far back as I can remember, has always had the name Bob, because screw originality
  13. I won't stop you from asking... I'm just saying not many people are going to tell you any codes because anything other than speeding up the game is generally frowned upon here. If you want money, look at this thread: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4560 You can PM me if you have any questions about the Pickup Army. If you want to know good training spots, ask on the forums. People will definitely help you with that. Also, by using the Pickup Army, you can also use the Rare Candies you find to level up your Pokemon, so it's a win-win situation!
  14. It just has to be windy, but you need to have beaten Florinia.
  15. Nobody's going to help you if you ask questions about cheating in the game, unfortunately.
  16. The last game I played is Pokemon Reborn so...(uni internet prevents me from playing anything else)
  17. I'd rather have own tempo on Lilligant. Spammin' that +6 Petal Dance without confusion
  18. Not sure how this works or if anyone even uses the online iTCG, but I sure don't, so take my code... EMA-D6TK-H99-BVV
  19. Water/Fairy, maybe like a nymph or mermaid or something
  20. It this offers any reassurance, I have both Shroomish and Poliwag.
