  1. I don't think Absol having Iron Head is the greatest idea when it has a Fairy weakness. It's not really a big deal, I was just saying was all. Chandelure has the highest base Special Attack out of the three at 145, but is the slowest at 80 base Speed. His evolution line is also the only one with Fire/Ghost STAB, which is pretty significant when he's also the one with the highest non-Legendary, non-Mega Special Attack. Infernape can go mixed with 104 in both offensive stats, and is the fastest. He's a lot more versatile for sure when it has access to various forms of priority and the Elemental punches. My qualms with him is that you already have Hitmontop as a fighting-type. If you had run Serperior instead then I'd have less of a problem, but meh. Delphox isn't as fast as Infernape and has 114 Special Attack, but honestly, I don't feel like he's a good fit in your team. Espeon gives you fast Psychic type coverage already. If anything, I'd replace Espeon with Delphox if you really want to run him, but that'd give you even more of a Ground and Rock weakness which you really don't want. If you really don't like Chandelure then other Fire-type suggestions I can make are Talonflame and Arcanine. Being part-flying removes his Ground weakness and also gives you priority in Gale Wings Brave Bird. Arcanine has a gigantic movepool, access to Intimidate and Flash Fire and priority in the form of ExtremeSpeed. Ultimately, it's up to you what you want to run in the team, but Chandelure has a definite immediate power advantage over the rest (145 > 114 > 104), whilst Infernape and Arcanine have a lot more options available to you. Talonflame is just nice to have, he wrecks a lot of the lower-down leaders because of that priority BB.
  2. Fake Out, Sucker Punch, Close Combat/High Jump Kick and Wide Guard/Protect/Toxic/Rock Slide/Earthquake on Hitmontop. Change your EVs and items accordingly to whatever leader you're challenging as always. Chandelure is good, I don't see why you'd want Infernape when you have Hitmontop now. You already have Espeon for Psychic coverage so idk why you're wanting Delphox either unless you want Magician for some odd reason, which is redundant when both of them get either Switcheroo or Trick. Chandelure also gives you STAB Shadow Ball which is great for neutral type coverage. EDIT: Also just realised you don't have much for fairies, so Iron Head somewhere would be nice, but not completely necessary.
  3. Well first off, just going to say hi o/ And second, I love your team lol Okay, serious time. Stall teams generally don't work well in League considering most of them are Triples and most of them end in less than 5 turns. Minimize is heavily based on RNG, which, whilst not a bad thing, honestly isn't the greatest when Set-up sweepers are kind of pooped on in Triples already. When you're not getting reliable stats for a sweep, I really think that moveslot could be used for something better like Energy Ball or Hidden Power Fighting (a type which your team doesn't have cover at all). I don't think Ion Deluge is the greatest idea considering leaders can look at your team and I doubt any of them run many normal moves anyways with the exception of Fake Out and Extremespeed (which has +3 and +2 priority respectively anyways). I'd suggest getting rid of it and just putting Thunderbolt there instead. A potential recommendation is that you could run Blizzard over Ice Beam. It hits multiples in Triples, but is less accurate so there's that to consider. I can also see Earthquake being a problem for your team. I'd possibly suggest running Dual Screens on Espeon to make all of your pokemon individually a bit bulkier, but to be honest, I think he's the strongest pokemon in this team offensively so I'd just keep Espeon as he is for now. Maybe Protect > Toxic in case of emergencies. Kecleon is an interesting choice. Sorry, but idk if Protean works if the move fails. If you're dead set on running him, then I'd stick Rock Slide on it over Ancientpower. Ancientpower just adds more RNG on top of your team, Rock Slide is more consistent and even nets you a possible flinch on multiple pokemon in Triples. If you're iffy on running him, I'd potentially run Serperior here as a counter to Earthquake and Rock Slide, which I feel like your team has problems against. Serperior gets Contrary Leaf Storm as a potential sweeper and also gets a relatively fast (at 113 base speed) Dual Screens which I feel like your team could really do well with. That does mean doing away with Fake Out (and any kind of priority on your team as far as I can see, which might be a problem), but I think it's worth it imo. If you'd rather keep Sucker Punch and Fake Out, Hitmontop also gives you those two options as well as Intimidate to also weaken Earthquake and Rock Slide. He would also give you Fighting coverage which your team lacks. I feel like Superpower > Perish Song on Absol is a better idea considering that Triples matches end very quickly and you have no Fighting type coverage so far. If you're running Hitmontop or running HP Fight on Chandelure like I've already suggested then Perish Song would probably be better in that case. If you're ditching Kecleon, then run Sucker Punch > Night Slash just for the priority it brings imo. I can appreciate that it's a Critsol, but I feel like it's really needed when your team excepting Espeon has some very mediocre speed unless you decide to scarf Chandelure or Absol. I like Lickitung. He's good. Return and Knock Off are solid and he has pretty sexy bulk until he gets Knocked Off, which I doubt any of the leaders running weather will have. tl;dr Energy Ball/HP Fighting on Chandelure > Minimize Get rid of Ion Deluge and run something else, probably just Thunderbolt Maybe Blizzard > Ice Beam on Lanturn (that's just down to preference though) Maybe Protect >Toxic on Espeon(another preference thing though) idk if Protean changes if move fails Rock Slide > Ancientpower on Kecleon Maybe replace Kecleon with Serperior or Hitmontop Maybe Superpower > Perish Song on Absol if you're not running HP Fight or a Hitmontop Maybe Sucker Punch > Night Slash on Absol if you're not running Kecleon for priority anymore

    Hey Guys!

Hi o/ Hope to see you on PO.
  5. I'd still definitely run Rock Slide > Stone Edge just for the possibility of hitting multiples (maybe even flinching) in Triples and Doubles. I thought Blizzard getting reduced by Sand was always the case, like Hurricane in Sun, maybe I'm wrong. DD T-tar isn't exactly necessary, plenty of Hall of Famers don't have set-up sweepers. Heliolisk and Roserade look fine as is so far. idk about Rotom-W, Heliolisk does what Rotom-W does already I feel.
  6. Arcanine is actually a really good idea, idk why I never think of him. He seems to suit so many teams and then I just completely forget he exists for some reason. I'd honestly still say replace Gliscor, Intimidate deals with Heracross decently, not as amazingly as Gliscor does, but still, you shouldn't have problems using Arcanine > Gliscor. Arcanine does get Crunch, so there's a consideration if you want to replace T-tar with the Arcanine. When I was talking about Blizzard, I actually meant not to run Blizzard because T-tar's Sand already reduces its piss poor accuracy to something piddly. You'd have to play around it needlessly I feel. What do you think trainer cards are for if they can't see your team o.o They'd even be able to read this post most likely lol And yeh, dedicated walls suck when Triples and Doubles are things. I've never seen a team running Blissey getting any further than the 3rd badge.
  7. I really like your team Looks like something I had back in Gen 5. One thing I'd take note is that you have no priority, and when practically all of your pokemon take severe damage from one priority move or the other, I'd be wary. I know that's not a problem for a lot of people, but meh, it's what I say in these threads. As much as I love Sleep Talk Heracross, leaders will likely see it and probably play triples versus you and not touch it at all. I reckon it's a wasted moveslot, you'd be better off running a Lum Berry in those few cases where sleep is a problem (Laura, Aya and Noel; potentially Samson, Bennett, Ciel and Anna, but honestly I've never seen the last 4 run it). I'd say put Earthquake instead of Sleep Talk on this moveslot. Your lack of a firemon is pretty significant I feel, especially when you're missing out on Heat Wave. If it was myself I'd get rid of Gliscor and run Talonflame/Chandelure. Talonflame gives you priority and the weakness to rocks and water is compounded by you running Tyranitar, Roserade and potentially Dry Skin Heliolisk. Chandelure gives you a hefty Heat Wave, access to Trick Room and a wide variety of coverage. I know Gliscor gives you access to a hefty Earthquake, but I feel like it has less impact than Heat Wave does. Gliscor does give you very strong Singles capabilities (Toxic Stall Gliscor is so annoying when you're not the one running it ), so that's something to consider, but I already feel like your team is too Singles-orientated just by looking at the Team Preview. One thing I'd also say is Stealth Rocks on T-tar in League is meh. If you want to use it as a sash-breaker then I'd understand but T-tar's sand already has that covered. SR doesn't have that much impact in triples and there's few cases where it'd destroy a team completely without a leader having counters (hello Bennett). Ciel at least has Xatu and Magic Coat/Taunt and Triples capability with the new Wide Guard mechanics potentially nullifying Rock Slide (haven't seen much proof she'll run it though). I'd probably run Dragon Dance on it instead considering you have no set-up sweepers. If you do, Ice Punch on T-tar > Superpower considering you already have Heracross for Fighting coverage. That's just my opinion though, I know a lot of people swear by SR in League. Also, as for Icy Wind, I'd say that it's good, but it's not necessarily the greatest when you consider half of the Leaders have some form of Trick Room in their arsenal. I'd say run Blizzard just to hit more people but seeing that you're running T-tar, I'd steer clear away from it. Competitive prevents any Intimidate shenanigans going on in Triples so I'd probably run that and Surf > Scald if it were my team. I know a lot of people here however would definitely run the set you're running right now with Competitive but I'm not a fan of Scald in League. The RNG on it and slow-burn doesn't make much sense in Triples when the matches end in less than 5 turns normally. In Singles however, a Scald burn is definitely a godsend, which is something to consider, but again, your team looks very Singles-orientated so I don't think many Leaders will Singles vs you except for the obvious Bennett and Shade, which T-tar honestly wrecks face against until the Aegislash but meh, if you're still running Gliscor or are running EQ on Heracross already, you shouldn't have a problem versus the Aegislash. Heracross on Bennett's team might also be a nightmare, but definitely less so than Shade's Aegislash when you consider that you have a Gliscor (Gligar being Heracross' premier wall last generation).
  8. Hmm, I wish I could play Suicide Cup, STABmons and Equal BST Meta on PO legit :c

  9. Oh wow, I love how Vinny misses the chance to take Sneasel. As revenge for not posting a funny picture of Ash's Heracross doing lewd things to his Bulbasaur, I'm going to take Sneasel and not post a picture too :feelsgd: EDIT: OK I'm an idiot and someone took it before me :c But here's Teddiursa for you guys

  11. How does this place get such handsome regulars? o.o
  12. Hope to see you on the server dude o/
  13. It has a monstrous movepool and godlike speed for Taunt, Encore, Magic Coat, Magic Guard Skill Swap and generally other smelly things.
  14. No, pre-evos are completely fine as long as you're not running the Abra line.
  15. My fave gen was 2. 5 and 6 were meh, but they made for pretty good games.
  16. Unown only has 1 learnable move. Ditto I'm actually not quite sure about.
  17. Perish-Roar is stronk. I can see whole teams full of Prankster in this tier. Prankster T-wave stops so much from dying to Toxic Orb.

  21. Hi I really like this team. Was surprised to see no-one running Arcanine until now Otherwise, I'd say be careful of Trick Room. I'd tell you not to run Grass Knot on Greninja and go for the Extrasensory like Kamina said, Grass Knot doesn't hit enough threats hard enough imo. I'm not a fan of Aerodactyl in general myself either. Maybe I'm just biased against Rock-types, hate most of them (excepting T-tar). I'd say Dragonite would be a decent mon to replace him with, but that'd give you another Fairy weakness against you and no Taunt. No unnerve doesn't really hurt in League afaik, at least, I haven't seen any leaders this season run any berries. Gliscor maybe? Has better bulk, Poison Heal options and basically the same weaknesses, still slower by quite a factor though. Honestly, Aerodactyl looks like it does its job the best as a fast flinch inducer/taunter.
  22. Fairies are the most likely to give me problems. A combination of high SpDef, them being SE/neutral to a lot of my go-tos whilst building teams and having really awkward weaknesses in Steel and Poison. Heatran and Aegislash are generally what I run to check them, but even they get pooped on by the likes of Azumarill and Mega-Gardevoir respectively.
