As Chim says in the OP, 75 or less for 100% accuracy or 85 or less for less than 100% accuracy

I think the change in my post deserves a bit of an explanation: Venonat sees things differently than a normal pokemon (see Venonat page on Bulbapedia) allowing it to see Zorua despite the illusion and hit with Supersonic. Zuko just simply charged where he saw Dark Pulse come from and eventually saw the Zorua. Then there's Confusion aka the most confusing attack ever: In the anime, it's just psychic. I decided to adjust it to be a weaker psychic only allowing for a pokemon to be held in place (they still receive damage).

@Chim: ...More like 20 minutes. I'm also pretty sure if you can learn a new move midway through battle and use it perfectly (anime and game logic) practicing a single strategy to use in a battle isn't so far-fetched. (I also like the idea that Gypsy is going to be the smart one on Henry's team). I deleted the post because I'm rewriting it (it'll look similar). I have had an amazing idea how to change it and break that illusion (like a boss).

Nah man, he'll just have a sore jaw for the next two weeks. Edit: When he evolves into a Metagross, he's going to weigh a TON (Oh god, that joke was aweful)
-
@Chim, if Henry can't do that move, I'll change my post to have him surrender instead of that. I really, really, really didn't want to have to use a move like that, but it's Zuko's only offensive egg move that he doesn't learn naturally (or is worthwhile). I do have an alternative solution to the issue, but I'd have to know if hitting Zorua would break this "illusion." If not, I give up.

This...this doesn't make any sense. Something's not right with that Zorua because something like this is...is impossible. Looks like I may as well...wait, that's it. "Gypsy, Supersonic on the Zorua." She heard Henry's order and created a terrible screech causing the Zorua to lose concentration. She then fell flat on the ground after being hit hard in the back by the Riolu. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt too much. The Dark beam that was launched missed Zuko by a few hairs. The Vulpix was lost its concentration for a moment, but quickly regained focused. "Okay, Zuko your turn to take care of that illusion." The Vulpix charged forward and disappeared into the illusion before surprising the Zorua and knocking it back. The field became clear again and Henry could see both his Vulpix and Venonat weren't too far from the Riolu. "Gypsy, hold it down with Confusion. Zuko, you know what to do." Gypsy held the Riolu in place while Zuko released spurts of fire from its mouth constantly while running towards his partner. Henry watched the Riolu take hit after hit. Both Pokemon were prepared for the Zorua to try and stop them. Not even a Machoke could last this. Henry thought to himself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Gypsy (89%?): Supersonic, Confusion Zuko (90%): Feint Attack, Ember (x5) Note: If we're going by K_H's logic, confusion did approximately 15% of Rhy's HP and Bug Bite (the physical attack) did less than 5%. Despite it being normally effective (tinted lens) it didn't do too much damage. Claiming those attacks did very little damage backfired on you. Dark Pulse missed as it was illegal (Supersonic was my excuse for it missing). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -
@K_H: Normally I wouldn't say anything, but a Venonat Bug Bite would do 70% of Zorua's HP with MAX DEF EVS at minimum. That and Dark Pulse is technically illegal (can be learned by TM so you won't be SOL). The Riolu part is justifiable, but I'd like a better explanation about the Zorua damage. I'm not saying to change it, but JUSTIFY the damage instead of putting down a number. It's kind of unfair my pokemon will only each have 50% HP at the start of this, but yours will have most of their HP after one round. (If you had something like a Shuckle or Aerodactyl, this would be a different story). Edit: I'll try to work with it, but you're stretching the anime logic a little bit. Yeah, that battlefield thing is impossible as even the anime mentions Zorua only knows how to transform. I can only think of a couple legendaries capable to do something like this. (I really hate complaining btw).

I kind of wanted to get the battle started so IDK if you guys stayed and watched or left for the pokemon center (I'll change that part if needed). @K_H: I'm sorry that it looked like I used multiple moves instead of one, but that was too good of strategy that I doubt I'll be able to use after this fight. (I gave up Roar on Zuko just to be able to do that). @Exlink (or anyone else): I'm not sure if it will affect your fields, but Zuko used Drought. That could really change the tides in some battles if it does affect the whole area. (cough*Flare*cough). We'll let Chimchain decide what happens.

Henry put the other earplug in and watched as his opponent spoke some words that he could not hear. Right when the battle began, the weather outside became much hotter as the sun glowed much brighter now. He saw the Riolu charge at his pokemon while the other stood back. "Gypsy, stall then use formation Epsilon." The nonsense Henry spoke seemed to make sense to his pokemon. The Riolu began to charge until it suddenly stopped and was unable to move. The Venonat seemed to letting off a pinkish aura to hold. Zuko quickly ran over to the Venonat who then bit his tail. Zuko flung the Venonat forward and began to bite down on the Riolu. Despite the move being bug, it seemed to damage the pokemon as a normal attack. The duo wasn't finished yet though. Zuko quickly ran over to the Venonat and let it bite its tail again. He flung the Venonat forward and bit down on the Zorua's back holding on with a nice firm grip. Zuko then turned to the Riolu giving it what had to be the cutest and most innocent face in the world as if he was begging for mercy. I only taught it to her once and she somehow pulled it off. I didn't expect her to do so well in the first battle. Still, I'm not sure if I can win this. I doubt a trick like that will work twice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zuko (90% HP): Tail Whip, Baby-doll Eyes Gypsy (95% HP): Confusion, Bug Bite Notes: Zuko recieved a tiny amount of damage from Bug Bite, and Gypsy recieved some damage from impacting both pokemon at a very fast pace. Also, Henry calls it Epsilon because Zuko's swing movements look very similar to the letter...I know, I'm nerdy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -
Yeah, I kind of realized Shiro and Robert were still there and I'll edit it when the time comes (depending on if they stay or not). I love how I can still make Henry do things you wouldn't expect. (I definitely like this version of Henry better than the one I originally intended on using).

That could've ended better. Still, not bad for a first battle. Henry watched Shiro run off shortly followed by Robert. It's my turn, but I have this odd feeling inside of me. Fear. I haven't felt this in a long time. Looks like I'll have to rely on that old trick I did to train Zuko. I'm glad I brought these. Henry pulled out two small earplugs and placed one in his left ear. "I know this may look strange, but I used to use these to calm my nerves. It's very hard to explain but it just kind of works for me. Let me know when you're ready before I put the other one in." Gypsy and Zuko jumped in on the field and Henry set his Pokedex up to set it to 20 BP. "Ready when you are." -
Henry, Alvin, Kenny, Evan are going to be in detention. There's already going to be enough hell with Henry and Evan in the same room with Alvin making it worse. Now you want to add Slade to the mix.
-
Yeah, I bet Henry is going to be in for detention as well. He did break one of Redwood's biggest beliefs on the first day of school. (It'd be pretty awesome seeing how Henry and Evan react as they have somewhat similar backstories, but different personalities).

"Good job, Shiro!" Henry yelled seeing as he trapped both pokemon. "This is why I'm a fan of doubles. Keep up the good work." Henry realized he just gave someone a compliment. He felt a little embarrassed he just rooted for Shiro out loud despite what happened moments before. -
OMG! Henry has a bug too. If Alvin pushes him enough, Zuko will burn his Combee right out of the sky.
-
You know, you're just asking for an Alvin x Evan ship right now. And poor Lana. I could imagine her trying to get Danielle's attention, but she's too softspoken to even be heard and lose a bit of self-esteem.
-
Or we could meet in the middle and use this. (I'm kidding, just go with the Hugh theme. I just wanted an excuse to upload Colosseum music 'cause it's awesome).
-
I thought it was James vs Lana. I would, but I'm pretty sure it's set in stone that Henry is facing off against Kenny. @K_H: I have a little surprise regardless, but I want to know if it's okay if we divide the battle into fourths (2 longer posts for you, 2 longer posts for me) instead of doing it on a turn by turn bases. As long as we don't have our own pokemon dodging every (some is okay) attack, I feel the battle will be easier and smoother to create and we'd both be able to create cooler scenarios instead of pokemon A attacks pokemon B who dodges it and retaliates with move A and wait to see what the next person will post and respond to that. (We'll still show only our HP count at the end of the turn though).
-
I have two solutions: A) Henry is losing his mind and B. This Zorua is special and learned how to talk "broken" english in human form (similar to how some pokemon can in the anime such as Auron's Lucario).

Did that Zorua just talk? Don't let it bother you Henry. "Fine." Still can't believe this kid almost beat Zuko so easily. "This time, how about we play Orre style in a double battle? I'll even throw in 20 BP if you're feeling confident. First, we have to wait for those two to finish before fighting as I doubt any fields are open at this point. I have a bit of faith Shiro might pull this one off, despite his shortcomings." -
Henry is going to be so disappointed when he finds out it's a Zorua. He was actually giving a compliment for once.
-
Oh boy, that just makes it so much worse. Edit: I'd freak out a minute too if I saw two of the same guy.

Henry saw a boy coming towards them, but he was a bit startled by a similar looking boy behind him. What the hell is this sorcery? Wait, something's odd about the second one. "Very clever. I didn't think you'd pick Ditto as your choice. It's very difficult to raise, but can be very powerful." Gypsy saw right through the Zorua's illusion and walked right up to it and just glared at it with its bug eyes. Zuko was lost at what was going on and just continued to sit there not even bothered by the two clones.
