Commander

This brings back the days of when I was designing the chaos requiem (something for a novel). That thing was a saga of events which was probably the most interesting thing I ever thought up. The only thing I will say is that we can argue for hours, but only the battlefield will give us the answers.

Wander, Rayquaza is literally the only thing preventing your Kingdom from being slaughtered by Permafrost and even that only hinders the inevitable. Any aerial units can easily be knocked out of the sky or suffer a sever cripple. I mean when half you army can be wiped out by two or three blizzards, a stable to ice types...it's not a good time to gloat about defense.

Inb4 Gilgamesh. I know it's been a while since I mentioned that name, but soon...the strongest swordsmen in all the land shall grace the stage.

Artemis (Articuno) and King Cold (Glalie) "I'll be off. You three with me." The Articuno pointed to a Vanilluxe and two Crygonal. "We must keep our numbers low in order to avoid unwanted attention." The said troops floated behind her as she flapped her wings to create some type of vortex (tailwind). The four Pokemon then dashed off at a very high speed. Meanwhile, the king was focused on his two Commanders who seemed to be quarreling a bit with each other. "I despise quarreling. It's even more annoying than this sea. Why did Arceus have to make the seas so big?" The king was a bit relieved Artemis was gone already because she would've given a factual answer to that rhetorical question. "I have an easy solution to this problem. One of you will become the next masterpiece in my collection and given I already have a few fish, I'm leaning more towards fridge boy. Unless of course I was mistaken from the voices I heard. Then there wouldn't need to do such dire actions. I do hope that's not the case as it'd be a far more interesting pastime while traveling through these accursed waters." ??? - (Outskirts of the Permafrost Kingdom) A lone Crygonal ventured his way out to a cave far beyond from where the castle lie. It was quite an odd place for the queen of the Kingdom to reside, or so the Crygonal thought. The area nearby was all lifeless with nothing but snow to surround, excluding a giant tower made of ice which resided a long distance away from such a cave. The snowflake though of turning back, but betraying such orders would result in death...something this 'mon did not wish upon himself. When he entered the cave, it was pitch black. He could not even see where he was going. He kept going deeper and deeper into this empty void watching as the light from the entrance slowly dimmed to nothing. He pushed even further until he saw a very dim light. He could faintly see a figure, but it was too difficult to make out what it's species was. "Who goes there?" He demanded to know who this stranger was. "My, that's no way to talk to your queen." The voice of was both soft and pleasant. The Crygonal felt relived knowing who this person was. "Forgive me, my queen. In the darkness of this cave, I mistook you for an enemy," responded the Crygonal. He had to choose his words carefully especially in someone so powerful. "You are forgiven. I can tell the king has been strict on you. Why don't you relax and unwind a little bit? I rarely ever get visitors. You did come here to visit me, correct?" The voice was very sweet, but the Crygonal could tell there was a feeling of loneliness in her voice. "Actually, it was on the king's requests I'm afraid." The Crygonal couldn't pull himself to lie in front of the girl...especially at how young she sounded. He had little choice though. "He was worried about you and wanted me to check on you." "...So he's spying me again. It's really a shame. At least he sent a handsome young Crygonal this time." The figure circled around the King's soldier. Somehow even in the darkness she was able to get a good look at him. "Umm...I...I have to get going. Seeing as you seem healthy, I'll report good news to the King." The Crygonal slowly back away. He had a feeling this would not end well. "Please don't go. It's quite lonely out here. There's plenty of fun things to do in the dark. And don't worry, I won't tell the king." "I have a wife and kids!" blurted the Crygonal. He already knew what she was implying and he would have none of that. "She'd murder me if I tried anything way before the king could do anything." "...I...I only wanted to play a game of hide and seek. What were you thinking I was talking about?" The Crygonal realized he had mistaken her words. He was about to say something when he noticed something very faint in front of him. Even with his sharp eyesight, he could only make it out after his eyes adjusted to this dark world. It was some type of figure...a giant bear to be exact. It wasn't just any Beartic as it was missing one arm. He had heard stories when he was younger about a one armed Beartic who was a famous commander who supposedly died stopping a civil war in the kingdom. Why was his corpse here? Maybe the king could better explain it. "No thanks. I've already spent too much time and if I don't hurry, I'll become the king's next masterpiece." The Crygonal quickly turned around heading to the exit. He didn't move far when he crashed into a wall. "I really wish you didn't see that." The sweet sounding voice of the queen had disappeared. In it's place, a much darker, perhaps psychotic took it's place.

We're assuming items do not work so...yeah. Excadrill is still crazy powerful with that Sand Force/Rush ability. It's actually why one is probably going to become one of my PCs aces after it evolves from a Drilbur. My update will be up soon. I must say I'm really enjoying RPing as Yuki. Edit: Anyone can take control of the Crygonal and Vanilluxe as I don't have anything particular (if a certain wanderer/mercenary or nation wants one of them though...I'll then take control and interact). Artemis though I have something planned. It's going to be a bit of a long one.

Yash, I need at least a week and even then that's pushing it (I'd really need two tbh). Regardless, I will keep the ice bridge and I'll do something to open it up to wanderers and mercenaries. Right now, it's going to connect the Creator of Abyss to Somber Plains. The only condition is to pledge loyalty or neutrality to the gatekeepers who guard it. If you betray this condition, you will get killed. And those who pledge loyalty will get escorts to protect them from the water kingdom or other enemies. And if any Kingdom (maybe excluding Underdark) to bring an army across it, there's a really good chance those Pokemon will get KILLED, not defeated. I want to emphasize that so that nobody tries something stupid. Edit: I also have the same idea as Typhlosion. Patients is a virtue when it comes to RPing. I feel there's no need to end this chapter so quickly.

This is really starting to push me more towards dropping out. Clearly this kingdom has too much importance (imo) and the rushing of all the other stuff has really watered the kingdoms to being really generic or dull. Whenever I design something, I try to keep everything in balance such as one kingdom having equal chances of winning or an advantage over certain kingdoms (Sky and Permafrost are pretty much equal in strength despite the type advantage). Throwing this new Kingdom right now into the mix could pretty much straight up throw you into a trainwreck which is why I suggest you rethink what to do with the following chapters. At the very least, give this chapter a month before a jump. If you rush or keep pushing through chapters just because everything you wanted to do with the chapter is done, I and probably a few others will be forced to drop this. We have lives so we can't always keep up with demands like that. It's also fun to see what creative things players through into the mix to surprise and somtimes raise hell because Wander, Chim, and I are great at that. I'll make a post up on Wednesday and probably cancel the whole invasion thing as a whole, but that's going to be it this chapter. It's ridiculous I couldn't even do a single thing I wanted to do because of the need to jump chapters. There hasn't even been a single battle since the first and I did plan on going to war with somebody (not necessarily the Sky Kingdom I might add).

Yeah, Underdark needs more love. And as for the seventh Kingdom, at this point I really doubt he's not going to go through with this. The only thing we can really do is not support it by not creating a character for it. I mean I already have my spots booked (plus two characters who'll appear later on) otherwise I'd support Underdark best I could. And I kept that ice bridge for a reason. Should a single Pokemon want to cross it, I'll allow it instead someone trying to use boat logic.

I only glanced at your profiles, but there probably fine. Things are a little weird here in this RP so just assume they're accepted unless stated otherwise. And Darvan, anyone is welcome to Permafrost. Only the Queen spot, Froslass, and Regice are taken that aren't mentioned already. I was going to make an update on it, but I've been a little busy. We are starting to get up in numbers (oddly). We might even outnumber the sky Kingdom soon.

By the way, I know you're not talking bad about me. Just kind of amusing you guys are talking about Henry, considering he's my character and I did design him to a loveable ass. If he didn't have redeeming qualities, interactions would be a bit difficult. And by the way, still waiting on Dobby for that response. Knowing Claude, this is probably going to make run after Mareek to find him.

From Permafrost's POV it feels as if we've only hit the halfway point of the chapter (I know I can't always update due to how busy I get, but I usually get something up daily). I'd suggest letting this go on because I see little reason to end it. Nothing MAJOR to the overall plot happened such as a huge battle between two Kingdoms which would've been a good point to break up the point between the next chapter. I still don't think it's time jump yet and add a new Kingdom when Permafrost and Underdark barely had anything to do yet. (Even though I'm practically in charge of Permafrost from the looks of it). I can't really update until late at night tonight so it's going to be a little while before I update.

I just realized that we might not be going back to reborn city just yet. (Time to jump back to ep 12 to buy all that good stuff). There was a Magmarizer and Electrorizer in the shop during that point in the game.

I don't why, but I find this whole thing kind of amusing. I died on the whole Cain and Stark (or whatever his name is) moment. That was golden.

You know I can read these comments too, right? But yeah, I try to play the part pretty much the way Warden put. I'm still hiding many things about Henry that I'll likely unveil little by little as time goes.

Do you know how goddamn long I've been waiting to dive down that lake. It has been almost two years. TWO YEARS OF WAITING AND WE FINALLY GET TO GO THERE!

"Don't bother," Henry yelled out to Claude. "Mareek just saw that Porygon die right before his eyes. I doubt he wants to be bothered by a pest such as yourself at a time like this. It's kind of a shame though. I found that one a bit amusing." Henry then looked over to cape boy who seemed to be about to explode. "Aww that's so sweet being attached to such a meaningless object. I was merely trying to do you a favor stopping you from embarrassing yourself. And yes, I'm the infamous Henry Baldwin people speak of. It's good to know my name hasn't been tainted yet."

Oh Henry, somehow he one up'd Alvin making him the most despised character. It'll be interesting the day these two have to do battle. Though if they did it now, Henry would easily win because you can't tell me a Scyther can solo a team of 5 decent leveled Pokemon.

As Henry tried making his way outside again, he noticed James and Claude talking to someone he didn't recognize. Normally he'd just ignore them and keep walking, but the new kid dressed rather ridiculous. While he thought Pierre was a little over-the-top, this guy seemed to take it a little too far. "Hey, you know Halloween ended two months ago. You can take off that cape of yours." He then looked over at the other two. "And why are you two just standing out here. I thought people like you would rather be in the stands watching the battles. This cup does only take place once a year."

"Actually, this is the sixth time," Henry blurted out making sure Mareek would hear it before he left. A few of Henry's Pokemon looked over at him giving a glare. "You all brought this upon yourself. Besides, he was going to explode on me anyways so there was no point to be nice about it." They still kept giving him the same look. "That temper that Cubone has came from somewhere. It's obvious that Mareek has a bit of training problems and if he can't accept that, it'll just repeat sometime down the road." Henry didn't even care that the professor was in the room. If he was going to get punished again, so be it. "This is enough socializing for me. I'm just going to get back to training since there's no point of me sticking around here. Besides, I wouldn't want to stick around after that. Pointless and annoying talk about that battle is going to fly around everywhere especially since Mareek is known for his battling skills." Henry headed to the door followed by 4 annoyed Pokemon, a happy Paradox, and a Rotom who was trying to resist touching the healing machine. None of the six really wanted to train after what just happened, but they saw no choice. If it would keep Henry from ticking anyone else off, they'd go through with it.

Yeah...sign-ups are a little weird here. I relooked over the PC and things look good from my POV. Since Tyrant can't edit the OP until a week or so, I'd say it's safe to post. Edit: as for the bridge, I'll draw a line on the map and post a pick here.

I haven't done a new run since episode XI so I still have yet to face all the leaders on the new field effects. I'll try to make a few interesting teams to face them though. Since Serra's done, I feel it is a good time to start from the beginning again.

It's really up to Typh what happens to the box considering it's his character. I feel sorry for the poor souls who have to carry that all the way across the sea. And yeah, I'd just like a quick post from you and Exlink if you want to join the army (even though I don't know who were going after anymore). I mean I'll make sure there's something to do if you stay back, but it's kind of easier on all of us if the kingdoms are all linked. As for the ice bridge, I'll keep it up as a form of crossing since it's really only safe for ice types to cross. Trying to cross it with an army pretty much would mean a game over for a foreign army.

Wait, you should probably stop at Serra considering it's Serra. Please let her crush souls again.

"Mareek, I know we both know you don't want anyones help," Henry finally spoke out. "Hell, I don't even think you need it. I merely suggest you take some time to think of what happened before doing something you'll regret. Take this guy for example." Henry pointed to the Vulpix by his side. "I gave him back to his original trainer out of fear I was turning him into something destructive and out of control. She told me something which made me realize how wrong I was. Turns out I was actually helping him gain control over himself and even having him gain a bit more pride." "I regret that decision I made, but life has given me a second chance to make up for it." Zuko rolled his eyes as Henry's attitude problem was about to kick in. "It's a pretty open book what's going on in that head of yours right now. Knowing you, you'll probably just end up doing something stupid you'll regret in a couple of months." And there it was, the familiar voice that was Henry. Even when he was supposed to be nice, he still would find a way to tick somebody off. Zuko stepped back for a minute knowing this my get ugly.
