I mean, it doesn't really matter that it's not a fighter yet the fact is that it still doesnt have any when it evolves into chesnaught. mudkip gets mudslap as it's first move when it's not a ground type yet. i don't see how that's a valid argument.

Yeah, Mudkip learns Mud Slap. But it doesn't learn Earthquake. Or Mud Ball. Or Mud Shot. Torchic doesn't learn ANY fighting moves until it's a Combusken. It's a valid argument because it's how Pokemon have been designed in the past.

if you look at seadra or other mons you see they learn dual typing moves. im not asking for a chepsin with fucking hi jump kick, but maybe like power up punch or low kick or low sweep and he only gets hammer arm as a chesnaught and that's it. like how prinplup gets metal claw, etc.
