  1. Serra's Blizzards are not 100% accurate outside of hail - in all other weather or Clear Skies, the accuracy is reduced to 70%. There's a reason the Reborn community dubs her the Hax Queen. Anyway, your best bet is just hit hard. Ice-types are generally poor defensively to compensate for their offensive prowess, so exploiting this flaw, perhaps with physical-heavy assaults, will allow you to eventually beat her. EDIT: Try hunting down a Munchlax with Thick Fat in the wild - a trained Snorlax with that ability will laugh at Serra's Blizzards as he sits on her Pokemon.
  2. In light of the date change to Friday, I'm going to follow Ikaru out the door.
  3. The things Amethyst comes up with are quite incredible... and prime material for those traumatizing nightmares.

Be more of a dick. No seriously, I wasted too much time and money helping people.
  5. Scizor won't be banned because it has the same issues as its normal form. It hits a helluva lot harder and has huge defense, but Heatran / Talonflame / Jellicent still exist.
  6. EDIT: Well played, Erick. In Reborn's meta, Lucario, Gengar and Kangaskhan should have their megas banned. I've seen a decline in people playing Gengar, but: - Lucario's Adaptability in his mega form with huge offenses and good Speed is way too strong, especially with the coverage that Steel / Fighting has. It can 2HKO literally everything in the game, and about 80% of the time doesn't need a boost. Adaptability also applies to some priority moves Lucario has on both the physical and special side. - Kangaskhan's Parental Bond is, more or less, a 50% damage boost with no consequences (unlike Hustle) but applies added effects like Power-Up Punch twice. Not to mention his nice bulk and access to Sucker Punch to end sweepers before they can begin to do anything. - Gengar would be banned because of Shadow Tag but I'm personally having fewer and fewer problems with it because it's still considerably frail. I'm on the fence here
  7. Considering getting tumblr. Blaming personwithbanana for this newfound interest!

Sorry. I've been overwhelmed and worried that I'll get anon hate towards me just because I'm cis or straight.

  8. That feel when I overhear someone mentioning Pokemon Reborn on the subway.
  9. Meh. He's got more people supporting him than against him, now that the trolls are realizing that the Phantomlord hate is illogical, and that other people who jumped to conclusions are being called out on the forums/reddit by Summoners and Rioters alike. Might be diferrent if some other random streamer hadn't been targeted the next day but at the end of the day, DERP is still a fucked up hacking company, and Phantomlord is still an ex-pro LoL player.
  10. The world could do with more people like Marc Merrill.

  11. Getting off the topic of jungle / blue build Quinn before Ikaru bans me, I found this on S@20: http://www.surrenderat20.net/2013/12/red-post-collection-tryndamere-with.html#more This is a gigantic heap of posts on reddit by Tryndamere, Riot's president. After going through it (I'm about halfway), I have a lot of newfound respect for this man.
  12. Obviously. I also play in a land where AD carries spend their mid-game taking a lonely stroll through unwarded jungles.
  13. I used to look at it that way but it seems with the build she's a skirmishing master. Catch someone away from their team and they're history. 35% CDR (20% with Mercury's Treads) means more mobility and poke with Valor (Quinn's Q applies SotEL's true damage), and Muramana assures Quinn doesn't lose too much damage being a burst-heavy utility-bruiser kind of carry. Vault + AA not only provides a gap-opener and another slow to keep them at bay, but against a squishier target, it cripples. Should be noted that while it's not the best teamfighting build (Quinn sucks at those over 1v1 and 2v2 skirmishes) the blue build emphasizes Quinn's strengths but can still put up a decent teamfight when duty calls.
  14. Ce sentiment quand je me souviens à pratiquer parler Français pour le très belle femme Québécois à ma collège - je veux fairs une prèmiere impression fantastique. Merci Acquiescence
  15. Three issues: - Lucarionite is banned in League, and could be banned in OU as well, so this item is obviously not recommended. - Your team lacks special presence. You need another special attacker alongside Gardevoir. Roserade replacing Breloom will help out in that regard, not to mention Breloom's weakness (speed) is EASILY exploited. You may need to explore more special options. - You have only one multi-target move, which means they will take you out before you can take them out. One possible solution is switching out Earthquake in favor of Rock Slide on Feraligatr, and another multi-target move on a special Pokemon whom you add to the party. Hope this helps!
  16. At least it's not another Quinn free week, we get those a ton. EDIT: Leona too I guess, though perhaps not so much as Quinn. That feel when I'm going to lose more money to Riot because Aether Wing Kayle and Tyrant Swain. DAMMIT
  17. I guess...? I'm kind of on the fence in that regard. Not a genuine interest but not a turn-off either.

    Scizor

Bug of Aegis, No Fucks Given   Scizor (F) @ Scizorite Trait: Technician EVs: 244 HP / 12 Atk / 252 Def Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Counter / Swords Dance - Defog - Steel Wing / Bullet Punch / Bug Bite - Roost   One day, a Scizor saw one of his kin lose brutally. The young green Scizor in the hands of an amateur could only watch as Lucario mega evolved and brutally crippled the poor insect warrior with but a single Close Combat. He then had enough of Lucario and Kangaskhan mega evolving into dominant forces that threatened the entire Pokemon universe, not to mention his kin. But the balance of power was slow, and Scizor grew impatient of waiting for the Lucarionite's inevitable banishment to Ubers. He journeyed out for a solution. He came across the junior trainer Epic C, who proposed a solution: use the ancient Scizorite not to further the fighting prowess that his kin had become renowned for, but for protecting the ones he cared for. Epic C told him that he had the power to Defog away the hazards that would hurt his unsuspecting friends, while Roosting to strengthen himself and maintain his 140 base Defense he had put in so much effort to bolster. Another trainer down the road showed him the Counter technique, which allowed him to deter the greatest threats to his existence. But he felt incomplete. Without the offensive prowess that his kind were known for, he was bound to be a laughingstock. The young trainer told him the attacking technique depends on the trainer's preferences and the Pokemon around him.  And so, the Scizor set out with a newfound purpose: to defend the righteous. As he overheard a trainer whisper "it's a physical-heavy metagame", a smirk came over his face as the Bug-types' new stalwart defender was ready to take the Pokemon world by storm as he had done so many years ago.
  19. You guys are hating on physical tank Scizor like it's artwork of the devil. 150 base Defense is 150 base Defense. I mean, if you substitute the offensive moves for Bug Bite and Counter (I guess), you have one hell of a physical tank here, also noting that there's only one weakness, which in turn is easily sponged by Tentacruel and perhaps Infernape as well! Gotta look at it that way.
  20. Yep. Congratulations, you win...a Teemo free week! \o/
  21. I was just having a little fun with the whole thing. That feel when I see what Riot did there with the champ rotation.
  22. Meh, I've been able to ignore these for the most part. Though all the remarks that I get whenever I play Sona on free week do get annoying after a while.
  23. I have a quickly growing want for Aether Wing Kayle
