That feel when they brought the Reznor back in New Super Mario Bros 2, but they're so easy to kill off (compared to Super Mario World) that it makes me sad.

That feel when the champion you've wanted for months (but never thought to jump on her while you could) is finally on sale. Come to me Ahri. <3

This article will let everyone know what's going on http://www.surrenderat20.net/2013/08/red-post-collection-grumpy-monkey-talks_5.html?m=1

Beer battered haddock and fries (aka Fish & Chips) is one of my favorite meals. Haven't tried either, though I had the opportunity to do so for free a couple weeks ago. Should have tried it... It was boring as all hell to stay at a roadside motel in ND on a road trip to Calgary - I can't imagine living there being any better. Bananas, probably. Pomegranates and limes are also up there. A couple very small ones but not very many because I watch little, if any, anime. For social purposes, probably.

This is like watching tennis warmups. So I've got some..."alternative" reading material to the back-and-forth bantering I just came back from a sleepover family reunion in Bobcaygeon over the past day and a half and let's just say my god, can some people drastically change. You have my aunt and uncle, the whole hosts of the thing that let everyone camp out in their yard/field (they own a horse farm). They haven't changed and I'm thankful that they haven't. Then...there's everyone else. Not to say that I hate how people have turned out after six years of not seeing the vast majority of them, but it was like talking to strangers. It was so alien. I guess it's partially due to the fact that some of my cousins have married and had kids, or others have finished their education / gotten legitimate jobs (which I don't have ;_ but you'd think they'd recognize you and the time you accidentally electrocuted one of Uncle Bob's cows (not the same as the hosting uncle), or when you went toe-to-toe with one of them in a poker game with a couple grand on the line. It's just another reason why time and money are among the most cruel things that can happen to me. Time turned these people into self-focused people that are totally unable to pull themselves out of conversation their work life (which really isn't a bad thing), with these nickel coins, blue and green cotton bills and checks being their motivator in life. Perhaps money is the be-all and end-all after all, and I have something of an outcast view. If so, now that funding from my parents is more or less cut off now, why is it that I'm able to live a fairly satisfactory life on cheap food, occasionally an Internet connection from the local library, a half-there social life, and absolutely no further expectations from the world?

Here's mine, I've only played this champion once but she's my favorite non-Freljord person lore-wise. Diana isn't based off a certain character; rather, she is an embodiment of vengeance, rejection, and a bringer of feared concepts; a victim of circumstance relatable to many. Everyone's had something about them or some CRAZY idea that no one else wants to delve into, out of disgust or fear or whatever. Diana represents such a struggle where she believes the moon to be the sun's equal, which in her mind completely makes sense - but the Solari want no part of it. They are too bound to tradition to not fear what lies within such a fearful prospect. Such a theme is just as relevant in real life. Examples would include things like religion, sexual orientation, governmental affairs, etc. Someone contemplates "coming out of the closet", believes in a minority religion, or sketches up this new approach to government from which everyone prospers. But unnatural perceptions, one's own beliefs, or the tried-and-true method of running a country instill such fear into the mainstream that the outcast people will be just that - outcast. They try and try because that's how they truly feel, or it all makes more sense, or whatever the case - only to be met by the same rejection from the established order. They finally have to revert to the last resort because their inner genius is tearing through their skin, so incredibly desperate to prove its worth to the world. Diana had these same struggles with the Solari. You'd think that the Moon would be an equal to the Sun, but the Solari didn't feel that way about equal representation. This idea of the Moon and the rejection that came with it drove Diana absolutely bonkers until she was able to prove her plight - only to be rejected again. That's when the "last resort" came in, she became so furious and frustrated that she killed those trying to put her and her supposedly crazy beliefs down when she initially meant no harm at all. Also, about Riven, she has about as many references to Marth as she does to Cloud Strife; both Marth and Riven were exiled from their home countries as a result of deeds committed by those whom they thought they could trust (In Marth's case, it was the people of Gra, to whose royalty he was closely related). I could go on but i can't be bothered. Also, her kit is largely resemblant of Marth's in super smash bros; her codename during testing was apparently Marth as well.

That feel when Koreans are now digging that Ashe/Zyra pairing that we saw c9 use. Glory to the Avarosan! That other feel when reading about the whole mt Targon thing between Leona, Diana and Pantheon and I think "fuck, this is a lot deeper than I thought"

You could have made it smaller

Oh. Well I guess it was probably for the sake of finding a cheap, somewhat offensive Armor solution, but ya know wouldn't be too much logic in building Iceborn on a fire-themed champ so yeah

I had to look this up, so I can't really answer that question Gambit. No question.

Pretty sure Twitch is just getting a Visual Upgrade, and even if that's the case it isn't coming before Sivir's VU.

srsly? Poison types. The most useless type that can be annoying at the same time. Reruns of The Shining TV show.NOTE: I eventually got to check out the Stanley, where it was filmed. Quite the place! Because you're bored, probably.

That feel when Shyvana gives me shit for jungling and thus having her lane 2v1 Fifteen minutes later... ACTIVATE SEJUANI SUPER-GANK 3000 "An enemy has been slain!" "Double kill!" And suddenly, she isn't calling me a noob anymore.

Meanwhile, found that thing Erick was talking about before with female champs' breast sizes. http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=2691109

That feel when you get an unbelievably awesome idea for a story to write, but get distracted as you try to put the damn thing to paper before you forget it.

Sorry, Cyrus.

That feel when all of a sudden everyone plays "let's abandon the ADC and blame all our troubles on him"

Yi should build like a normal AD carry, probably. You know, IE, Phanom Dancer, Bork, that stuff. Also, Lucian will not be coming out this patch. I have just a little while longer to IP grind. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=40313018#post40313018

Third time's the charm...?

WHHOOOAAAAAAAA DUUUUUUDE! It's patch 3.10, and it's coming out of nowhere! For those too lazy to look at the site, here's what's going down with the patch. Check the spoilers for Pwyff's comments! Champions Ashe got a buff to the speed of Focus stack reception. Elise got some attention with regards to the things that made her broken in be eyes of many; that being her Spiderlings and the Rappel ability. It's best to read for yourself all of the changes. Fiddlesticks' Crowstorm no longer shreds the Magic Resist of Dragon, Baron, or Vilemaw. Karthus's Lay Waste now casts at max range if targeted beyond max range during his passive effect. In addition, Defile got a nerf in terms of AP ratio. Lucian is in this patch but may not be available right away. (I say "may" because Lissandra was available immediately upon her patch.) EDIT: The devs aren't satisfied with Lucian quite yet. Despite Lucian being included, he won't be out until the next patch. Master Yi has been remade. Check leagueoflegends.com for details. Ryze has had the range on all of his spells reduced to 600; however, the Movement Speed buff on Desperate Power has been almost doubled. Thresh's Health and Armor have both been nerfed, but now each soul grants a consistent +0.75 Armor and Ability Power. Twisted Fate's passive has been remade. The global gold bonus is gone, but instead, upon killing a unit, he will now "roll the dice" and gain between 1 and 6 bonus gold (He'll have a higher chance to gain between 4 and 6). With regards to Pick A Card, he now has less time to pick a card, and half of that time to throw it. Vayne got up close and personal with the nerf bat. Her Condemn's range has been reduced, and Final Hour's cooldown was increased at lower ranks. Zac was nerfed, the damage on Elastic Slingshot went down. Champions - General Assists will now be granted to Champions that attacked the champion's shield, assuming they died within the appropriate time frame. Such shields include invulnerability effects such as Kayle's Intervention and Poppy's Diplomatic Immunity. Champs can no longer dash or blink when they are taunted. Champions Insignificant changes were made to these champions, bug fixes U.O.S.: - Ashe - Elise - Fizz - Karthus - Malzahar (some vision and pet control tweaks) - Nami - Poppy - Udyr (Spirit Guard skin has a new death animation) - Warwick Items - New stuff NEW! Spectre's Cowl (Ruby Crystal + Negatron Cloak + 205 gold = 1400 gold, builds into Spirit Visage) +200 Health +45 Magic Resist UNIQUE Passive: Grants +15 Health Regen per 5 secs for up to 10 seconds after taking damage from an enemy Champion. IMPROVED! Spirit Visage (Spectre's Cowl + Kindlegem + 375 gold = 2625 gold) +400 Health +55 Magic Resist +20 Health Regen per 5 secs UNIQUE Passive: increases self-healing, Health Regen, Life Steal, and Spell Vamp effects by 20%. IMPROVED! Banshee's Veil (Spectre's Cowl + Ruby Crystal + 875 gold = 2750 gold) More Health No longer grants Mana More Magic Resist Same Spellshield UNIQUE Passive: Grants +45 Health Regen per 5 seconds for up to 10 seconds after taking damage from an enemy champion or when the spell shield breaks. IMPROVED! Guardian Angel (Negatron Cloak + Chain Vest + 1310 gold = 2750 gold) Same Armor Increased Magic Resist Same Passive RETURNING! Moonflair Spellblade (Ranged Only) (3v3 and Dominion Only) +50 Ability Power +50 Armor +50 Magic Resist UNIQUE Passive -Tenacity: Reduces the duration of crowd control effects by 35%. Items - Other stuff Runic Bulwark has been removed from the game. Aegis now builds into Locket of the Iron Solari. Consequentially, these items have been changed a lot, but it's best to read up on all of the changes. Blade of the Ruined King's active slow duration is now down to 3 seconds from 4. Wooglet's Witchcap's recipe now includes Seeker's Armguard, and grants more Armor, but that's about as much as I'm bothered to write about it. Deathfire Grasp and Needlessly Large Rod have been removed from 3v3 and Dominion, with Blackfire Torch being remade to take its place. As a result, Haunting Guise and Liandry's Torment have been reenabled on these modes. The Cold Steel's passive slow duration is now 1 second (down from 1.5 seconds). As a result, Warden's Mail and its upgrades Frozen Heart, Randuin's Omen are now 100 gold less (the recipe costs of Omen and Frozen Heart are still the same). The following items now have new icons: - Abyssal Scepter - Catalyst the Protector - Deathfire Grasp - Glacial Shroud - Haunting Guise - Hextech Revolver - Thornmail - Vampiric Scepter Summoner's Rift Non-buff spawn camps now spawn even later. In addition, experience yielded by these camps has been tweaked. In the buff camps, the buff monsters see a nerf in health and experience. Baron Nashor's Voracious Corrosion has been tweaked with; it just lowers the damage dealt to Baron now. Outer Turrets have been buffed a little bit, gaining bonus Armor within the first four minutes instead of the first eight, in addition to a couple other fixes and tweaks. Champion Tags Each champion will now be classified as only one of the following: - Assassin (Zed) - Fighter (Udyr) - Marksman (Ashe) - Mage (Ryze) - Tank (Sejuani) - Support (Janna) Players who frequently fail ready checks will be given penalties. Key word: frequently. I think that should cover it all! In the grand scheme of things, not much really happened compared to other patches, no genuine buffs or nerds to champions (except Vayne). I played the new Master Yi rework in the PBE on a friend's account and I like him, but not totally into him yet; I guess I didn't play as him enough. Also, looks like Riot's claiming some more money of mine, I forgot to IP grind for Lucian like I did Zac and Lissandra, but oh well. It's good to see Moonflair Spellblade back (as useless as it was before). But now at least it gives me something to fill the void left in AP builds by the combination of Deathcap and Zhonya's, when I'm not by any means feeling creative. Now off to dunking more nooblords!

Took a practice SAT two and a half years ago as I was considering applying for university south of the border. The writing score was apparently amazing, but math was not so much. I could have done much better (twice placed in the top 10% of Canada in a national math competition) but any cares for mathematics fell off after junior year. I printed out the score then and he'll, it might still be around. I'll edit this post if and once I do find it.

I live in two places because parents are divorced: Brampton, Ontario and Orangeville, Ontario. Come September I'll temporarily be in Toronto. Favorite color is red - my parents knew why, apparently... as my father told me, it might have come from the color of his car. My grandma said that when I was young, I was curious about colors and how you could always see green, blue, and yellow, but not always red; she then bought me a whole bunch of red stuff - a Corvette model, red Lego, and a red hat to make up for the lack of red in the world. It seemed, to me, to be some bullshit which my mom used to teach me about balance and looking carefully for things and whatnot, but I guess it worked.
