  1. Even if you do use the Interceptor's Wish, Melia will refuse to use HMs. You can come back to there as MC after you finish the story segment.
  2. You and your friends might be capable trainer, but outside a pokémon battle you're worthless and your friends aren't much better. For some reason you can't wrap your head around, Crescent, who you don't even know well, keeps playing your guardian angel despite her Gothitelle hating you, and she's strong even outside a pokémon battle. If you were overpowered by GIratina it wouldn't be as hopeless, and it has to make you feel hopeless. If, for example, Melia was her Chapter 15 self, even with a Chapter 8 team, you, Janner, and Nim falling into lava couldn't have happened. It's a bitter way to end Act 1, but it makes exactly the points it needs to make for Act 2. While you stay the pokémon specialist of the party, your mates branch out their skills and help you in different ways than throwing pokeballs.
  3. I'm not too sure giving a bonus ability to the crests is a great idea: weather/terrain setting abilities are busted enough that otherwise mediocre pokemon become competitive staples, here you're just investing the item instead of the ability. Plus, Misty Terrain already has its defensive effects: prevents status conditions, raises Sp. Def by 1.5, and protects allies from Dragon-type moves, and, while slow, Wish is boosted by the terrain. I also see a world where people would run Draining Kiss: 112 effective BP from Sylveon under Misty Terrain is still nothing to scoff at. Sure, this crest favors the wallbreaker playstyle over the bulky support one, but, on the flip side, after STAB, boosted Pixilate, and Misty Terrain, Hyper Voice gets a 3.3x multiplier (imagine we get Tera in v14, with Tera Fairy would have a 4.5x multiplier, the opponent can have double resistance and still gets boosted damage), Sylveon simply doesn't need any other offensive move (yes, you could run Mystic Fire, but it doesn't need it), and it gets it without any choice lock, so the other 3 slots can all be support moves and you're not missing out on anything. The Umbreon crest could appreciate the extra oomph: shutting down the opponent's terrain and weather isn't as good as setting up your own, and this crest doesn't do anything unless your opponent has those set up. Having an additional leftover effects is warranted. For the other Eeveelutions, it's a bit harder: they don't have a busted terrain-ability combo like Sylveon does, but the crest still does something no matter what, unlike Umbreon.
  4. No, unfortunately my knowledge of the community doesn't go that deep. But you should have posted this thread under Troubleshooting instead of Discussions.
  5. Posting the errors would be a start, but I don't think I can really help you: I haven't touched Windows in years, and the first step of learning Linux is unlearning Windows.
  6. You should use PowerShell as the terminal on Windows 10 or later. You don't need to run it as admin. Beyond that, I can't help much because I'm just so unfamiliar with the platform. I heared somewhere you can just type 'cmd' in the file manager's top bar to open the cmd console on that directory. Probably writing 'pwsh' or 'powershell' should do the same, if not, you can still use the cmd, but you need to run 'dir /q' instead of 'ls -l'.
  7. Open the terminal and run "ls -l" (on Windows use the PowerShell rather than the traiditional cmd console if possible, but if the cmd console is all you have, run 'dir /q' instead) in the directory "Data" inside Rejuv's install directory. Post the output.
  8. Just do your thing, it'll make sense later.
  9. If you go for the Fairy theme, Jynx's final evo dropping the Psychic type and becoming an Ice/Fairy sounds good, while Magmortar could be either Normal/Fairy or Rock/Fairy. Both Ice/Fairy and Rock/Fairy work as very offensive types, while Normal/Fairy can work on pretty much anything. Okay, I forgot about Raging Fury (after all, it was introduced only in LA, and only H-Arcanine, Infernape, and Gouging Fire learn it), which looks perfect for A-Electivire and doesn't force you to use Magic Guard for a good Fire STAB.
  10. You forgot to add Fairy to the type. I think it would prefer a Fire signature move over a Fairy one: Play Rough is already a great move, even if it can miss, but there are no good physical Fire move, except for Flare Blitz and Bitter Blade. It won't be able to learn Bitter Blade, for obvious reason, and Flare Blitz is a recoil move, which you really don't to see on a tank. It's interesting that you started with Electivire, since Magmar, Electabuzz, and Jinx are part of a trio, Jynx never got an evolution in Gen 4 thanks to americans seeing racism even in a random dirt mark on the street. An Ice-type Magmortar and a Normal-type Jynx that actually gets a final evolution would be interesting. Another way to do it, is a Normal-type Magmortar and a final evolution for Jynx, the latter with the lore of being native of Valor Mountain and being unable to reach its final form in other regions.
  11. The point isn't that Melia got good with computers, but that she got to that point in a few months starting from nothing. This proves that Melia is capable of intelligence feats if she puts her mind to it. This makes "she's too dumb to have built KCE" a weak argument. Melia's backwards dialog in Anju's tower clearly states: "How many times have we done this, Interceptor?" I think whatever the KCEverse is, it's more likely MC is there than not. What does the Emma disguise look like? There's no way it isn't an hint for anything, and it being an hing to "any preconditions Malia needs to awaken the archetype are met" is a possibility. 13.5 is a revamp of the whole game, if Madam X acts so out of character in such an important story event, it means that the inconsistency is only apparent. The fact still remains that she went as far as going Za Warudo to kill Nancy, of all people, but she didn't do anything close to that for Melia.
  12. By the way, saying that Melia can't possibly have built Clear and Kieran because she can't possibly become a good engineer is weak: Paragon Melia went from n00b to 1337 h4x0r in a few months inside the Zeight. But there is a much more solid evidence for Melia not being Madam X: Madam X, at first, didn't recognize the MC. While that might be attributed to the MC appearing in different ways to different people, there's no way Malia wouldn't instantly figure out who that eerily quiet person glued to Melia's back is.
  13. But did she actually try to kill Melia at Blacksteeple? She knows Melia has the archetype, and that the archetype activates when the host dies, and if she really really wanted Melia dead, she should have just used the time crystal to kill her, like she did with Nancy. If anything, Melia is more worthy of spending the time crystal on than Nancy. If anything, that Madam X went that far just to kill Nancy, it means that she wants to be resented by the Interceptor, and she allowed Aelita to be born for the Interceptor to have a powerful ally (Clear said that "she hit the wrong target with Yveltal", but who's buying it? Especially from a compulsive liar like Clear).
  14. U-Turn, Moonblast, and Quiver Dance. The Bug STAB isn't very valuable, Sticky Web is fine, but the only teammate that really takes advantage of it is Togekiss, everything else is in a speed tier where it will most likely be outspeed by the opponent's threats Sticky Web or not, it doesn't have a lot of valuable coverage (literally just Psychic and Energy Ball, under Misty Terrain Energy Ball has no single type matchup where it does more damage, and Psychic only hits Poison-types for more damage, and Nature Power is just a consistency for strength trade compared to Psychic), it learns a bunch of status moves, by they have anti-synergy with Misty Terrain, it could be healing (Draining Kiss/Roost), but it's not great on a frail offensive pokemon. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter too much, because it's going to be the move you're clicking less. For sure, Ribombee would be a far better user of the Interceptium-Z than Comfey: it actually outspeeds a lot of stuff (the Galar wolfs I think are the only steel-types faster than Ribombee, and among poison-types I think only Crobat, Mega Gengar and Mega Beedril outspeed Ribombee) and hits harder. I'm really not that excited about A-Sygiliph's poison neutrality, because A-Gastrodon and G-Weezing are already neutral, and Mawile is immune. This team really struggles with Steel-types, but there's not much you can do about it with the current options (I hope we can catch Iron Valiant or that a Fire/Fairy Aevian form is added in v14, or are the devs gonna leave a glaring weakness in Allen's team?). I just don't think if provides anything the other team members aren't already doing. It could be a secondary Misty Terrain setter, but that's about it.
  15. Coming from a mono-Fairy run, I can tell you that A-Gastrodon is the best addition to the game's Fairy pool: its type is great, compared to Sinnohan Gastrodon, it trades the quad weakness to Grass for normal weakness to Ice, Grass, and Steel, which, overall, makes it easier to hit but without a silver bullet type, and with its bulk to averages out to an overall better staying power. In doubles it's better to run a Special set, because, paired with Sparkling Aria/Surf Primarina, it starts hitting real hard after a couple of turns. Sticking those two is straight-up a win condition: Primarina puts heavy pressure with massive spread damage, while Gastrodon keeps hitting harder and harder with both single target (Earth Power, Strange Steam, Scorching Sands) and spread (Dazzling Gleam) damage. with poison and electric types that would threaten Primarina checked by A-Gastrodon. All the rest of the team need to do is to counter possible opposing steel and grass types. (No, no, please not Ferrothorn! Everything but Ferrothorn! AAAAAHHHH!) In a weather/terrain team you really a pivot, so that you can reset the terrain'weather without losing momentum, but a problem with a mono-Fairy is that you don't have much access to switch moves. Dedenne gets Volt Switch, but while it's fast for the team, it's not really fast. and it dies to a sneeze. Ribombee gets U-Turn, and it's actually fast, and it also dies to sneeze. Grimsnarl doesn't get Parting Shot, for some reason. Gardevoir gets Teleport, but it has negative priority and Gardevoir is physically frail even after mega. Mawile gets Baton Pass, but do you want to spend your mega on that? Calm Mind-Baton Pass Sylveon would be interesting, but, afaik, you can't get the Calm Mind TM in 13.5. I actually don't dislike Ribombee over Comfee on this team: if the Misty Terrain is up, it can threaten massive damage with Moonblast without having spend a turn for Quiver Dance, provides speed control in the form of Sticky Web (if you can figure out a breeding chain that lets it learn both it and Moonblast or are willing to run Dazzling Gleam) and Stun Spore, and can pivot out of unfavorable matchups with U-Turn. Plus, it fills the role of a late-game sweeper, which this very bulky team really needs access to.
  16. I like this concept, especially because you find regular Snorlax in the Honec Woods, which are basically just next to the Darchlight Woods: it's easy to imagine a Snorlax wandering a bit too far and paying for it. Rest with no drawbacks!? That's busted. Btw, a resisted STAB Sleep Evermore does the same damage as a neutral 90BP non-STAB move, so, after a couple of Calm Minds can it score some OHKOs even on resisted hits. So, I'd rather run Flamethrower than Focus Blast as coverage: it actually hits, it's supereffective against bug-types, which threaten 4x damage, and this is especially important, since Focus Blast is resisted by bug-types and would end up doing less damage than Sleep Evermore, it's still supereffective against Steel-types, and it still hits Drak-types neutrally, neither of which threatens supereffective damage.
  17. I should remember to have my coffee before checking the messages.
  18. I think Enatsyrte is referring to the Kecleon shop at the very south of route 2.
  19. Shadow Lurantis gets what!? A 120 base power Bulk Up on a mon with 105 base Attack is totally never going to get out of hand.
  20. Some other team options for people who might want to try this challenge: Venusaur: Mega option, and Poison typing allows it to hit opposing grass and fairy mons supereffectively, and changes the defensive makeup of the grass type pretty substantially. It's very bulky and can deal good damage on special side, and, with its hidden ability, it's a threat under the sun, especially in doubles thanks to its supporting moves. Vileplume: Venusaur at home. Jumpluff: Unique typing, fast, bulky especially on the special side, but it doesn't really do much with that outside of spamming powders. It might work as a defensive pivot with U-Turn in singles, but I'd primarily keep an eye for it in doubles. Roserade: What if Venusaur hit harder but died to any contact move? Lurantis: A good bulky attacker. It can work both as a setup attacker with Leaf Storm and Contrary (Pulse Clawitzer flashbacks), sort of a Serperior at home, and under the sun with its physical Solar Beam clone.
  21. Steve Vai can transcribe a Frank Zappa piece after hearing it once, just get good bro. Jokes aside, I don't think it's even possible for the developers to release the sheet music for all the tracks: it's easy with the tracks that are direct renderings from the DS since you can just extract the MIDI track from the ROM, but most of the tracks in the game are random rearrangements found on the internet.
  22. Emoji pickers. The unicode input mode of fcitx, to be exact.
  23. I pronounce it like you would the greek ξένος (xenos), that the average american might better know as the "xen-" in "xenophobia", but I don't know if americans pronounce it "xinophobia", and I don't care enough to check. I get the "e" being not so clear about how it should be read, but Is there an english world where "x" isn't read "ks"?
  24. There are two versions of the legendary beasts event depending on of you saved Karen at the Castle Zygara (defaults to you didn't if you didn't do the side quest), and they proc at different spots in Alamissa, and I don't quite remember where. The Amber event is at her house, but that happens a lot earlier iirc.
