If I'm honest? Volcarona (surprisingly) might be the weakest link of the team here. You're lacking a good pokemon to deal with Flying types (unless you're running Ice Fang in Feraligatr but even then). You've got a good Steel/Fairy/Dragon Core, so we should keep Hydreigon, Gardevoir and Lucario
If I had to make a suggestion, I would substitute Volcarona for Mamoswine, especially seeing as (by the time you can get Hydreigon) you can also get the Groundium-Z and Icium-Z if you still need a Z-Move (although I'd always reccomend Intercept-Z)
I think the 50% attack buff is the important part of that equation. Effectively having 157 Attack with excellent physical coverage and intimidate support to help increase bulk is nuts. At this point, they should have made the Hypno crest a 2x Special Attack boost
The person you take has an effect on later story related events. For the most fun, I'd recommend taking Kriess, because there won't be much chance to interact with him otherwise.
Came up with another set idea. Here we go!
HE DON'T MISS!!!

-Bulk Up
Exactly. I haven't been here all that long, but it seems to me that 13 and 13.5 took so long because they basically revamped most of the game? So obviously that's going to take longer than adding new quests, sprites and whatnot for a new chapter.
I wonder, what fields do you think will activate Protosynthesis and Quark Drive?
Probably look like
Protosynthesis:
Cave, Deep Earth, Dragon's Den, Colosseum
Quark Drive:
Electric, Factory, Short Circuit, City
listen, so long as I can use my boy Iron Jugulis I'm happy. Or Iron Thorns, oooooooh.
At any rate, I'm not sure they'd be too busted, though I;m hardly saying they'd be balanced
Can confirm, Dragapult goes immensely hard. Baxcalibur's gonna be massively busted too, possibly pushed back to Neverwinter if they do add Gen 9. Do we know if the devs are gonna add Gen 9?
While I can't speak for 13.5 (seeing as I barely used dark types), both Honchkrow and Weavile in V13 Intense were insanely good, despite their numerous drawbacks. Obstagoon is an amazing guts user, and obstruct allows you to cheese a lot of the boss battles, but I'd argue that the Shadow Cacnea is much better at this due to getting fake out and sucker punch to really take advantage of the defense drops
Strange that Aelita supposedly has a Hisuian Lilligant (my fave that I was annoyed I couldn't use, but it's fine cause it's Aelita) but I never saw it in any battles. ever
I'm glad that some of my faves haven't really shown up either. I was really surprised no one was given a Horoark in 13.5, or any of the cool aevian forms outside of one off fights
I mean, same, but I also was talking about my own hangups about not using pokemon recurring trainers (like rivals and stuff) use. Nine times out of ten, it isn't a problem (especially when usually the pokemon I do like are replaced on their teams later on) but with Hydreigon...
most annoying thing about Melia is her hydreigon, because it's the only one of her pokemon that I like to use (other than mimikyu, btut that's already one of my Reborn champs), but because she's an important character you battle a bunch, I personally can't use it
