Some consider them fairy tales, but most believe they created the world and everything in it. Those people are ignorant, but the fault lies not with them. The goddesses are real and hold great power, but their power is not the source of life. No, their power is suited for nothing but betrayal. They slumber now, but that will only last for so long. They must be stopped at all costs. All I have left is the power of destruction. A power I will gleefully use to execute those traitorous wretches. plot The four goddesses have been reincarnated inside mortal bodies. Due to luck or fate, they have been drawn together. However, they have yet to awaken to who they really are. Because of this, they are defenseless against those that would cause them harm. But all is not lost, the young Kallisto remembers herself and quickly moves to defend her beloved sisters. But alone she does not possess the power to save them. She recruits the help of young girls with great potential, granting them magical powers. These girls are tasked with protecting the goddesses until they awaken. As well they must attempt to spur the goddesses minds to remember who they are. setting The world's a bit of a mess. For a lot of people it's basically a utopia, but for the rest it really sucks. The important place right now is the country Kayo, which is led by a bunch of traditionalists who don't like change. The head lady, Estole Syv, is actually pretty interested in change but she's gotta fight against all the old ladies who don't so not much gets done. But that's not all that helpful-like, more importantly there's the Opium Institute, the school that the goddesses are at. And also the school where Kalli grabs girls to help her, in case that wasn't obvious. It's a rather new school, only been around for a few years, but it's already considered rather prestigious simply because of Mother Opium being a really important person. It's also got a bit of infamy about because of Mother Opium openly supporting men's rights and the cranky old ladies in the government being against that. Only cranky people really care about that though. So yeah the goddesses are at this school and it's, like, camping week where everybody goes to a fancy park and stays in an air-conditioned cabin and then say they spent time in nature and that's where the main events of the story happen. Also there's two other countries which might be relevant: Nayo and Layo. Nayo is like Kayo except not a theocracy also the men's rights movement there is really big and well-supported. Nayo is also right next to Kayo. Meanwhile Layo is like, on the bottom of the world and super mysterious and different from Nayo and Kayo. People don't usually travel between the two continents because plane tickets are expensive and Layo is weird. lines ...Because of how important religion is to people in Kayo, all girls are required to declare which goddess they follow by the time they turn thirteen. This is their "Line of Belief." They are also considered practicing or nonpracticing depending on whether or not they actually follow their chosen religion and believe in the goddesses or not... There are four lines, one for each goddess. Alexian Spoiler Followers of the Goddess Alexus and her tenets of Luck and Dreams. Believe in letting life do as it may, following its flow and searching for the opportunities it provides. Generally viewed as friendly and accepting people, although often the worse side of the group are thought of as irresponsible and uncaring. Nayrist Spoiler Followers of the Goddess Nayru and her tenets of Reason and the Mind. Believe in the importance of logic and understanding. Despite what one might think, their goal is not to become emotionless robots, but to understand their emotions and use them rather than being controlled by them. Or at least that's the intended goal, Nayrists are often considered to be obnoxious and prideful, looking down on lesser beings driven by emotion as they miss their goddess's intent. Kallistles Spoiler Followers of the Goddess Kallisto and her tenets of Faith and Love. Unfortunately, this often becomes "faith and love or else" and Kallistles have historically been known to be intolerant of opposition, even at one point actually burning the unholy. Modern Kallistles try their best to live down these atrocities and are now much more accepting of others as they try to reach back to the true meaning of their goddess's teachings: Faith in Kallisto and Love for all living things. Considered rather traditionalist and resistant to change. Laylites Spoiler Followers of Layla and her tenets of Power and Fear. Modern Laylites are known to be rather cult-like in behavior, enforcing their rules by fear in an attempt to gain power over others. They seem to quickly forget that they are to fear and respect power itself as a way of limiting their hunger for more. Viewed uncomfortably by those outside the group as Laylites are uncommon and often deceitful. powers The powers granted to the various characters follow a simple (well, theoretically simple), two-part system of Element and Modifier. Each Element decides what one can manipulate and each Modifier how they manipulate it. Elements: Spoiler The Elements have many aspects, but can generally be arranged by the balance of offensive and defensive capabilities they possess. Being further from 0 indicates increase specialization towards offense/defense and thus a drop in the opposing statistic. Water Spoiler Effects: Versatile, healing Aspects: Luck, flow Color: Blue Focus: Defense Rank: 0 Description: A free-flowing element with a balance between attack and defense power, as well as moderate healing potential. Ice Spoiler Effects: Precision, shatters easily Aspects: Reason, precision Color: Green Focus: Offense Rank: 2 Description: Precise but easily destroyed, Ice has the highest potential damage of any Element should it strike in the proper place, but more often than not simply shatters against opposing defenses. Fire Spoiler Effects: Versatile, can function separate from its wielder Aspects: Faith, loss of control Color: Red Focus: Offense Rank: 0 Description: Balanced equally between offensive and defensive capabilities, but lacking in Water's healing potential. It makes up for this with the ability to continue burning even after the wielder has ceased feeding it. Thunder Spoiler Effects: Massive damage Aspects: Power Color: Yellow Focus: Offense Rank: 3 Description: An extremely powerful offensive force that always does a lot of damage without any of the hassle of precision limiting Ice. It has a bit of recoil and overdoing it will damage the user. Hope Spoiler Effects: Unwavering offense Aspects: Dreams, the future Color: White Focus: Offense Rank: 2 Description: Although much weaker damage-wise than Thunder or Ice, Hope is unmatched in force. No matter what it is met with, it never stops pushing forward. Soul Spoiler Effects: Unwavering defense Aspects: The mind, self Color: Purple Focus: Defense Rank: -2 Description: Although not capable of deflecting raw damage as effectively as Earth or the powerful healing of Light, Soul possesses an unmatched ability to hold its ground without fail. Light Spoiler Effects: Powerful healing Aspects: Love/obsession, pain Color: Orange Focus: Defense Rank: -2 Description: Decent defensive power coupled with extremely powerful healing. Any offensive capabilities become healing when used on allies. Darkness Spoiler Effects: Causes fear, consistent output Aspects: Fear/respect, shadow Color: Black Focus: Defense Rank: -1 Description: Weak in raw defensive power. Darkness instead attempts to protect the wielder by causing foes to fear them. Darkness is very consistent, capable of being output regularly by its user to continue increasing the opponent's level of fear. Earth Spoiler Effects: Insurmountable defense Aspects: Earth, humanity, space Color: Brown Focus: Defense Rank: -3 Description: The powerful ability to manipulate earth and rock. Unrivaled defensive power. Granted only to those with a hatred of the world innate within them. Time Spoiler Effects: Various time related enhancements, buffs/debuffs Aspects: Time, memory, gravity Color: Grey Focus: Offense Rank: 1 Description: Though not capable of much directly, manipulating the flow of Time allows the user to control the speed of time's flow and even the effects of gravity to an extent. Granted only to those who hate the world because of experience. Modifiers: Spoiler Modifiers similarly can be grouped by offensive and defensive capability, but also by how controlled or erratic they can be. Modifiers often have special interactions with various Elements, ranging from minor changes in operation to accommodate a certain Element to shifting their function to something almost entirely different. Shield Spoiler Prerogative: Creates defensive barriers Pattern: Squares Type: True Defense Focus: Defense Style: Controlled Description: Allows the user to quickly form circular or spherical elemental barriers to protect themselves and allies. Special Interactions: -Ice: Large barriers are easily smashed, but smaller, more focused barriers can become quite powerful. -Thunder: Very, very little defensive power but deals heavy damage back to attackers. -Light: Heals anyone within its barriers. Eye Spoiler Prerogative: Illusionist, seer Pattern: Half-Circles Type: True Defense Focus: Defense Style: Controlled Description: Forms illusions based on one's Element and allows the user to use their element as an extension of their eyes. Special Interactions: -Hope: Cannot form illusions but can see into the future, both in the short and long term. The Eye of Hope feels constant pain, but may mitigate this temporarily by ripping out the eyes of others. -Soul: Sees into the minds of others and creates illusionary worlds within them. -Light: Illusions are extremely realistic and impossible to see through, but have no physical tangibility. Cannot see through Light. -Darkness: Instead of illusions, the user gains the ability to render themselves invisible to the naked eye. -Time: Calls forward real items from the user's memory. These items are instantly destroyed on contact with any living thing other than the Time Eye. Fury Spoiler Prerogative: Forms a storm of energy around the user Pattern: Triangles Type: Wild Defense Focus: Defense Style: Erratic Description: Creates a storm of elemental energy around the user, protecting them from attack and allowing them to harm those who come too close. With practice, this storm can be concentrated into one's palm for short periods of time. Special Interactions: -Thunder: Storm lashes out at nearby living things. -Soul: Creates a cocoon of solidified Soul energy around the user which absorbs attacks. Attacks are returned back when the cocoon is removed. -Darkness: Storm increases in size based on the fear of those around it, including the Darkness Fury themselves. Adept Spoiler Prerogative: Manipulates an element to the user's will Pattern: Cloth Type: Precision Generalist Focus: Balanced Style: Controlled Description: Allows the user to control their Element perfectly but is much weaker than other Modifiers. Requires great concentration to wield. Extremely versatile to those with the mental fortitude to control it. Special Interactions: -Fire: Can form Fire into elemental constructs which are much more complex than most other Elements but require greater concentration to maintain. -Ice: In addition to complete control over Ice, Ice Adepts also gain total control over their body temperature as well as the temperature of anything directly touching their skin. Vine Spoiler Prerogative: Sends out erratic tendrils Pattern: Wavy Lines Type: Wild Generalist Focus: Balanced Style: Erratic Description: Fires a storm of wild vines from the user which lash out at foes and incoming attacks. An extremely powerful Modifier but one which the user has little to no control over. Special Interactions: -Thunder: Vines can become forked lightning, moving instantaneously and causing huge damage but being rather draining. May still be used normally to send out tendrils of electric energy. -Earth: Vines no longer emit from the user but instead are created from items in the world. Blade Spoiler Prerogative: Creates and wields swords made of an element Pattern: Flowers Type: Precision Offense Focus: Offense Style: Controlled Description: Grants the user the ability to conjure a sword made up of their element. Only one sword may be conjured at a time, but the sword may be infinitely re-formed when destroyed. Special Interactions: -Fire: Can make infinite swords rather than just one at the cost of all swords being rather weak and easily destroyed. -Soul: Sword becomes completely unbreakable. -Time: Conjures actual swords from the Time Blade's memory. Still one at a time. Elemental Spoiler Prerogative: Transforms the user into their element Pattern: Diamonds Type: True Offense Focus: Offense Style: Erratic Description: Transforms the users body into one made up of their Element, they then literally throw themselves at their foes to inflict heavy damage. Special Interactions: -Fire: The elemental burns entirely separately from the Fire elemental's physical body, allowing them to function in tandem -Soul: The user's spirit leaves their body and can travel freely, flying and moving through solid materials. Can possess various items in the world, although not living things. -Light: Instantly heals the Light Elemental. Pulse Spoiler Prerogative: Shoots elemental blasts Pattern: Circles Type: True Offense Focus: Offense Style: Erratic Description: A powerful ranged modifier used to fire spherical bursts of elemental energy from their palms. Can be charged up to fire off more powerful attacks. Special Interactions: -Water: Cannot be charged, instead fires a stream of energy. -Ice: Attacks become conical like icicles, increasing their ability to pierce but requiring greater accuracy to hit. -Fire: Shots linger after flying a certain distance without hitting anything. -Thunder: Shots initiate chain lightning through multiple enemies. -Earth: Instead of shooting elemental energy through the air, creates shockwaves through the ground. Breaker Spoiler Prerogative: Destruction of Elements Pattern: Jagged Line Type: Torn Generalist Focus: Balance Style: Both Description: The power to destroy an Element and the concepts associated with it. Has both controlled and erratic behaviors, making it hard to manage but very powerful. Granted only to those who themselves are born in a broken state. Special Interactions: None Fist Spoiler Prerogative: Empowered punches and kicks Pattern: Scars Type: Torn Offense Focus: Offense Style: Both Description: A modifier that improves the user's own physical abilities through the use of their element. A wild method of attack that requires great discipline to master. Granted only to those who have broken their bodies through training and combat. Special Interactions: -Ice: Increases speed and perception, attacks are weaker but can be targeted very accurately. -Earth: Can also enhance attacks made with melee weapons. -Soul: Becomes almost impossible to actually kill so long as they maintain a reason to fight, and can hold body together by sheer force of will (they'll still be injured afterwards). Echo Spoiler Prerogative: Reflecting and amplifying their element Pattern: Infinity Type: Torn Defense Focus: Defense Style: Both Description: A strange modifier, the user is incapable of conjuring their element on their own, instead being able to redirect it from other sources, strengthening it in the process. Granted to those whose minds have been shattered by the people around them. Special Interactions: -Water: Instead of manipulating water as an element, becomes capable of stealing or amplifying good and bad luck. -Thunder: In addition to electricity, can also act on sound. -Fire: Can strengthen self through the belief of others. -Time: Can manipulate gravity wells and domino effects, but loses other abilities. Laylite Weaponry Spoiler So previous games I had this loose concept for another type of magic independent of the Goddesses, that doesn't exist anymore. Instead there's Laylite Weaponry. Although humans long, long ago lost their ability to access the magic of the Goddesses, skilled craftsmen who follow the Goddess of Power have found a way to channel the innate energies within themselves into weapons. These rare weapons can grant anyone access to their Element. The right weapon can even be used to help further enhance the divine powers of those who have them unlocked. Again, these weapons are quite rare, and this rarity is increased further by their being bound to their wielder. One may only possess a single Laylite Weapon, and their weapon will die with them. rules Keep calm. This RP is made to cause your character to suffer, often by events beyond your control, expect things to upset you and be prepared to rein in your emotions. No godmodding, powerplaying, etc. These are general RP taboos and they shouldn’t be done here. I won’t be going over them here, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t still a problem. No metagaming, do your best to separate your knowledge from your character's. Keep Suism in check. Mary Sues aren’t truly a binary, off/on kind of deal. They are more fluid a concept. So please use your better discretion. I will let you know if you’re going too far in that direction. Shamitako Posted October 19, 2017 Author Share Posted October 19, 2017 accepted characters Alva the Forgotten Spoiler Player: Twinwolf Name: Alva Hill Age: 16 Line: Practicing Alexian Modifier: Elemental Personality: Alva is almost excessively friendly, quick to assume the best in any given person and to treat them as a best friend even if they’ve never met - she defaults to “friend until proven not-friend”. Unless someone introduces themselves via hurting a friend, theeeen she’s gonna assume not friend. In the same vein, she does her best to be helpful to her friends whenever she can. She has a hard time changing her opinion of people, and while she tries to be as accepting as her goddess demands, she has some issues with judging people when they aren’t so widely accepting. On that note, she is devoutly following the Alexian religion, although she does her best to accept other views (although she’ll be a bit more critical of Kallistles and Laylites for their… less than open hearted ways, in some irony). Appearance: Alva is tall and lanky, with bright green hair and eyes of a similar color. Her hair is long, and usually only styled as much as it doesn't stick up everywhere. Otherwise she lets it do as it wishes (which tends to be, "be very curly"). She doesn’t have any particular trend in style of clothing, beyond “is it comfortable?”, although she wouldn't wear something that made even someone as fashion-unconscious as her puke. Deeming that Alexians were the least restrictive of the religions, Esyllt had declared her faith. Her headstrong nature has gotten her into more trouble that she asks for. March 18th, 1024 Line of Belief: Nonpracticing Nayrist Element: Thunder Modifier: Blade Personality: Quiet up until a topic she is interested in/argues about comes up; then she is difficult to shut up. A bit awkward when first meeting people, but fairly friendly overall. Strong sense of right and wrong, with a short temper. Intellectual, but liable to rash actions when under pressure. She's fairly good at reining in her temper but can get a bit. . . explosive. . . when pushed to a limit. She has a nearly irrepressible urge to correct misinformation, which can get on the nerves of some, but it is rarely intended as an insult. She also has a bit of a superiority complex. Appearance: Slightly on the tall side with very long silver hair (which is usually kept back by virtue of its own mass). Has a middling build, not too skinny or robust. Prince Arya Spoiler Forum Name: Stratos Character Name: Arya Rame Wraith Age: 18 Line of Belief: Practicing Nayrist Element: Time Modifier: Eye Personality: A willful, snarky young woman who tends to yield only to those whom she feels worthy of her respect. She is a cynic at heart, in part due to her naturally perceptive nature and how easily her mind picks up on even the most minute details, and these twin traits often serve as the lose strands which allow her to unravel dishonesty and manipulation. Twin tapestries which she has personally seen all too much of, and- quite frankly -by this point finds simply disgusting whenever they grace her sights. Nowhere does her perception and attention to detail show greater than in her own work, however, as it's quite common to find her adjusting and tweaking a sketch for a good while even after most other people would deem it "finished", hoping to satisfy her incessant perfectionism. A cynic though she may be, however, she's surprisingly willing to listen to and help others with their own problems, perhaps offering insights they might not have otherwise obtained or pointing out details they may have missed. Unsurprisingly though, trying to get her to open up and accept the same brand of aid from others can often be like prying teeth... Appearance: A lithe young woman who is surprisingly toned for her size, standing at just barely 5'5" and a little over 47Kg. Her complexion is noticeably pale, and the locks of her hair extend down to shoulders in a bob cut, whiter than virgin snow. Her monolid eyes were once a deep, dark grey reminiscent of a storm cloud, over time however the the pigmentation has faded, and now they are more crimson with splotches of grey lingering on the edges. Her nose is small and snub. Her typical attire consists of simple clothes in cooler colors, such t-shirts and black shorts, often accompanied with a matching set of black leggings coming up to about mid-thigh, and black combat boots. Constantly present in her ensemble is a hooded, thin cotton jacket and pair of cheap sunglasses. Other: Arya possesses a photographic memory and incredible attention to detail, which she uses in tandem with her prodigal skills as a sketch artist to create illustrations of incredible- and sometimes outright overwhelming -depth and realism. She has gradually lost most of the pigmentation on her body due to a condition which runs in her paternal family. Ustole Kaede Spoiler Player: Hukuna the Undying Name: Kaede Astorlace Age: 16 Line: Practicing Kallistle ((more out of feeling like she has to than anything else, she just went with what her parents practiced. She has no emotional attachment to it.)) Element: Light Modifier: Breaker Personality: Kaede is a somewhat meek girl, or perhaps softspoken is a better descriptor. She is somewhat of a daydreamer, part of her never seems to be there when speaking to her. She has a sort of whimsical lethargy to her. A tiredness that permeates the entirety of her being. A manifestation of the break in her soul. The break in her soul causes her to not experience emotion the same way as others, she tends to feel them all at once, nothing, or in pieces. She isn’t emotionless or incapable of them, but won’t feel them as strongly as she should… This also includes her ability to feel pain ((especially emotional pain.)) This offness can be felt at somewhat of a distance. lt clings to her, a cluster of...confusing energy and tiredness. Appearance: Kaede’s hair is a deep cobalt blue, appearing black most of the time unless the light catches it in a certain way. She tends to wear a cavalcade of attire,having no real semblance of order or preference. She doesn’t really have a strong attachments to a certain look therefore she just wears anything she owns that is clean. This tends to have her go for what’s around or familiar enough that she remembers she has it. Skirts are the only thing of common occurrence but more due to the sheer number she has, than preference. Platinumちゃん Spoiler Player: GodofGamingRWBY Name: Platinum Mirazaki Age: 17 Line: Non Practicing Nayrist Element: TBD Modifier: Pulse Personality: Platinum can be described as having a rather bad case of a “Napoleon Complex”. Despite her size (which she will get extremely angry at if it’s brought up), Platinum is very arrogant and prideful, and while she is able to have some nicer moments, depending on the situation, those moments are overshadowed by her surprisingly large ego. Needless to say, she has a difficult time making friends because of this. Appearance: Platinum, despite her age, appears 14, at best, due to her height, childish face, and… Well, lack of ‘proportions’. Barely coming to 4’8”, Platinum can be distinguished by her long, bluish-silver hair, that is most of the time put into two long twintails that go down to her ankles (Generally using two dark blue ribbons to keep them in place), and dark blue eyes. She tends to be irresponsible but gets things done when she sets her mind to it. Appearance: Above average in height. Brown hair with a french braid running along the right side back into a ponytail held up by a white feathered wing barrette. Wears a low-cut white t-shirt, sky blue jacket and skirt, pale pink leggings, and white mary janes. Paints her nails sky blue. Natalie (Nayru) Spoiler Name: Natalie Opium Age: 16 Line: Nonpracticing Nayrist Elemental: Ice/Soul Modifier: Blade Personality: An extremely emotional girl who tries to insist she makes rational decisions. Tends to be extremely unkind to those beneath her on the social ladder. Unsurprisingly, this bullying springs from her own insecurities. Appearance: Quite tall. Short and straight cherry red hair. Red, half-rim glasses and lavender eyes. She dresses in a pale green and lavender plaid shirt and custom-fit blue jeans, as well as short heeled black boots. Miss Katherine (Kallisto) Spoiler Name: Katherine Lucille Age: 19 Line: Practicing Kallistle Element: Fire/Light Modifier: Shield Personality: A young Kallistle philosopher infamous for challenging the beliefs of the church and often leaving well-educated Stoles extremely flustered. She's generally a kind and personable woman, but can become a ruthless predator when impassioned about something. She has officially severed her ties with the church to teach at OI. Appearance: Long wavy blonde hair that shines like the sun. Golden eyes of equal brightness. Full and flush skin, darker than most of the other teachers. She usually wears a long orange skirt and one of her many intricately designed turtlenecks. Though she usually comes off as soft, but is fully capable of a stern glare. She's fairly tall, but doesn't stand out too much. Lilith (Layla) Spoiler Name: Lilith Perdita Age: 13 Line: Practicing Laylite Element: Thunder/Darkness Modifier: Vine Personality: Timid and frightful, but with hungry eyes that seem to instill a deep-seated fear in any who meet them. The combination has led the young Lilith to be extremely antisocial, she is too frightened to approach others and they too frightened to approach her. Appearance: Already quite young and appearing even younger than her age due to her short stature, being still not even five feet tall. She has narrow, dull yellow eyes that are extremely striking due to their seemingly ravenous gaze. She has straight, jet black hair that goes about an inch past her shoulders. Due to Laylite influence, she tends to dress sparsely, usually wearing a black tank top with a red rose design on the front, black jean shorts (which have a rose on the left cheek), deep red tights, and black flats (sometimes she tries heels to make herself taller but she can't walk well in them). Her nails are usually painted black with the middle ones having roses painted on as well. Eden(???) Although her expressiveness leads her to often seem enraged, most of the time it would be better to describe her as fervent. Holds a massive amount of knowledge and an ego to match. She looks down on those whom she perceives as less intelligent or deviant and openly mocks them Appearance: Average height, freckles. Seems rather aloof, generally ignoring the presence of others unless directly addressed. She isn't an antisocial person, it's really just that she's tired all the time. Though an instrument of the church, she disagrees with it heavily in private. Her greatest wish is to be free to sing whatever she wants and have it heard across the world. Even so, she obediently listens to the duties given to her by the church, as singing propaganda is better to her than not singing at all. As part of her rebellious private nature, she tends to enjoy unpopular media like comics and animation. She also loves cats. Appearance: Caliko has short, white hair with a slight bluish tint, her eyes are pale pink, and she has very smooth pale skin. She is surprisingly muscular for her small stature, necessitated by being a professional dancer. Her stage outfits change often, but her street clothes are consistently a white hoodie or hooded jacket, black skorts, mid-calf socks with cute animal designs, black tennis shoes, sunglasses, and a surgical face mask. All of this is intended to obfuscate her identity. Kindle unthinkingly charges forward at the cost of herself and everything around her. Though it's not always obvious, she always keeps her goal in mind, and can often become too focused on it to see the bigger picture. Kindle can be fairly unpredictable, and at times even a little unstable, but her aggressive and driven nature leads her to always complete the tasks she's handed. Appearance: A girl of average height with short, fiery orange hair and a single eye of matching color. Lightly freckled cheeks. She has no emotional attachment to it.)) Modifier: Breaker Personality: Kaede is a somewhat meek girl, or perhaps softspoken is a better descriptor. She is somewhat of a daydreamer, part of her never seems to be there when speaking to her. She has a sort of whimsical lethargy to her. A tiredness that permeates the entirety of her being. A manifestation of the break in her soul. The break in her soul causes her to not experience emotion the same way as others, she tends to feel them all at once, nothing, or in pieces. She isn’t emotionless or incapable of them, but won’t feel them as strongly as she should… This also includes her ability to feel pain ((especially emotional pain.)) This offness can be felt at somewhat of a distance. lt clings to her, a cluster of...confusing energy and tiredness. Appearance: Kaede’s hair is a deep cobalt blue, appearing black most of the time unless the light catches it in a certain way. She tends to wear a cavalcade of attire,having no real semblance of order or preference. She doesn’t really have a strong attachments to a certain look therefore she just wears anything she owns that is clean. This tends to have her go for what’s around or familiar enough that she remembers she has it. Skirts are the only thing of common occurrence but more due to the sheer number she has, than preference. Spoiler Player: GodofGamingRWBY Name: Platinum Mirazaki Age: [17] Line: Non Practicing Nayrist Modifier: Pulse Personality: Platinum can be described as having a rather bad case of a “Napoleon Complex”. Despite her size (which she will get extremely angry at if it’s brought up), Platinum is very arrogant and prideful, and while she is able to have some nicer moments, depending on the situation, those moments are overshadowed by her surprisingly large ego. Needless to say, she has a difficult time making friends because of this. Appearance: Platinum, despite her age, appears 14, at best, due to her height, childish face, and… Well, lack of ‘proportions’. Barely coming to 4’8”, Platinum can be distinguished by her long, bluish-silver hair, that is most of the time put into two long twintails that go down to her ankles (Generally using two dark blue ribbons to keep them in place), and dark blue eyes. Her outfits tend to be a mixture of conservative and formal, mainly by keeping her appearance up while being comfortable. She is a cynic at heart, in part due to her naturally perceptive nature and how easily her mind picks up on even the most minute details, and these twin traits often serve as the lose strands which allow her to unravel dishonesty and manipulation. Twin tapestries which she has personally seen all too much of, and- quite frankly -by this point finds simply disgusting whenever they grace her sights. Nowhere does her perception and attention to detail show greater than in her own work, however, as it's quite common to find her adjusting and tweaking a sketch for a good while even after most other people would deem it "finished", hoping to satisfy her incessant perfectionism. A cynic though she may be, however, she's surprisingly willing to listen to and help others with their own problems, perhaps offering insights they might not have otherwise obtained or pointing out details they may have missed. Unsurprisingly though, trying to get her to open up and accept the same brand of aid from others can often be like prying teeth... Appearance: A lithe young woman who is surprisingly toned for her size, standing at just barely 5'5" and a little over 47Kg. Her complexion is noticeably pale, and the locks of her hair extend down to shoulders in a bob cut, whiter than virgin snow. Her monolid eyes were once a deep, dark grey reminiscent of a storm cloud, over time however the the pigmentation has faded, and now they are more crimson with splotches of grey lingering on the edges. Her nose is small and snub. Her typical attire consists of simple clothes in cooler colors, such t-shirts and black shorts, often accompanied with a matching set of black leggings coming up to about mid-thigh, and black combat boots. Constantly present in her ensemble is a hooded, thin cotton jacket and pair of cheap sunglasses. So too had the virgin white hues darkened in her hair, black as sin and smoother than silk. Slate Grey half circles run up and down the entire length of the right side of her body, though only the half of her face was exposed to show it, where it arranged to encircle her own eye and before radiating out over the rest of her skin, like some bizarre war paint. Gone was the t-shirt, jacket, and shorts she'd worn, gone were the cheap sunglasses. In their place, a dark grey dress extending down to her calves, A long sleeve covering her left arm, clad in a black ballroom glove that danced with countless motes of celestial light that randomly shifted in their intensities and position. The outfit was sleeveless on its right side with a matching slit running from the right hip down, exposing an arm and leg now clad in an immaculate ebony-hued armor, adorned with a celestial display matching her glove. Twin belts had formed around her hips, one of bearing an empty quiver while the other held numerous empty pouches along it's length, just waiting to be filled..." Other: Arya possesses a photographic memory and incredible attention to detail, which she uses in tandem with her prodigal skills as a sketch artist to create illustrations of incredible- and sometimes outright overwhelming -depth and realism. Deeming that Alexians were the least restrictive of the religions, Esyllt had declared her faith. And then proceeded to never follow-up with practice. Element: -- Modifier: Vine Personality: Reckless often without reason, Esyllt has always believed in taking risks, so long as the odds are in her favor. Her headstrong nature has gotten her into more trouble that she asks for. But whenever something goes awry, she’s able to maintain a perfect cool; enough to manipulate everything around her to her own tempo. Her confidence tends to reassure those around her, but tends to get people involved with whatever she has going at the time. Appearance: Esyllt has wavy blond hair, which falls a little before her waist. She always wears a warming smile on her face, but others often believe she’s just plotting something mischievous. Unless someone introduces themselves via hurting a friend, theeeen she’s gonna assume not friend. In the same vein, she does her best to be helpful to her friends whenever she can. She has a hard time changing her opinion of people, and while she tries to be as accepting as her goddess demands, she has some issues with judging people when they aren’t so widely accepting. On that note, she is devoutly following the Alexian religion, although she does her best to accept other views (although she’ll be a bit more critical of Kallistles and Laylites for their… less than open hearted ways, in some irony). Appearance: Alva is tall and lanky, with bright green hair and eyes of a similar color. Her hair is long, and usually only styled as much as it doesn't stick up everywhere. Otherwise she lets it do as it wishes (which tends to be, "be very curly"). She doesn’t have any particular trend in style of clothing, beyond “is it comfortable?”, although she wouldn't wear something that made even someone as fashion-unconscious as her puke. We need to talk about costumes and transformation, specifically the limits on them. No chanting this time. Just, want to transform into your magical girl form or back to normal and it'll happen. Much simpler that way. You're free to describe your transformation as much or as little as you want, to those outside you just turn into a ball of light for half a second and then you're costumed. For costumes, you need to have your element's color somewhere about in them. Colors are listed under the elements in the OP. The standard shades are in the spoiler. Spoiler Anyone remember this piece of three-minute trash? Also Reason=Soul I'm just an idiot In addition to your costume, you need to have a tattoo-like pattern in your element's color and your modifier's shape on your body. This pattern will generally be a shape placed in a loose checkerboard-like pattern of shape/no-shape covering the designated areas. For Vine and Breaker it's simply lines which run along the designated areas. And for Adepts you're only required to have clothing of their element's color covering the selected locations. You're free to designate where these patterns show, so long as the total number of locations adds up to at least 6 from the following list thing. Things that you have two of can be counted for double if both are patterned. Also if you want to do something that isn't specifically numbered below, ask and I'll give you numbers.
