By how by how much do the salons in Obsidia and Coral Ward raise happiness by? Is level up a happiness of +5?

I'm assuming that it works the same way as the main games. If that is the case, then when your pokemon's happiness is from 0-99, it is increased by 30, from 100-199, it is increased by 10, and 200-255, it is increased by 5.

Bulbapedia says that in the main series games, the increase is random and not determined by the Pokemon's existing friendship value.

Not quite sure what you're talking about as I got those exact stats off of bulbapedia... I even looked and don't see where it says that it is random.

Xe is refering to the fact that the effectiveness of massages on Bulbapedia is shown like this:

+30 (6%), +10 (20%), +5 (74%)

Also, If we're talking about Pokes not obtained from the Daycare, Luxury Balls set the friendship to 200 and then you gain 3 per level up or 2 for EV-downing berries. 220 Frienship is required for evolution of such Pokemon.

I believe that this is the effect of the Friend Ball. The Luxury Ball just makes it such that increases to friendship gain extra points, like getting +6 as opposed to +5 when happiness is between 0-99
