Considering one of it's abilities revolves around hail I think that's a bit silly. I realize Empoleon isn't an ice type, but neither is fused Lunatone, and unless I'm blind and completely missed something while looking at it's ability summary and on the wiki, Lunar Idol doesn't specify that it prevents hail damage and yet it does.
