[Quiver Pass]
[Venomoth] @ [Focus Sash]
Trait: [Shield Dust]
EVs: [4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed]
Timid Nature
- Sleep Powder
- Quiver Dance
- Baton Pass
- Bug Buzz/Toxic Spikes

[Venomoth's one sole purpose in this generation is to do what only Smeargle can do otherwise: Pass Quiver Dances. It also has Sleep Powder, which buys you time for setup. You can even try and net a KO with Bug Buzz, but that's more filler than anything. Toxic Spikes are a possible option if you want Venomoth to set up for your team as much as possible. The point of the set is simple; the more challenging task is to figure out who you want to pass to. Heatran is a great option, as he resists most of Venomoth's weaknesses and he gets a Flash Fire boost if a Fire attack's aimed at him. But that's just one option. Any special sweeper loves Quiver Dance and everything about it. The choice is up to you. The biggest thing to watch out for is Taunt. Taunt completely messes up Venomoth's job and makes it dead weight. This makes things like Espeon (another Pokemon that would love a Quiver Pass) a great partner for Venomoth; it stops things from messing it up. Espeon is also great because it stops Stealth Rock/Spikes from ruining your Sash and exposing Venomoth's dreadful bulk. That's just about it. Venomoth's a simple Pokémon with a simple job, the choice lies in what you want to prosper from it.]

This one's not for BP, somehow.

Venomoth (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Shield Dust
EVs: 255 Def / 255 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sleep Powder
- Quiver Dance

Meant for two teams that lacked fire attacks - bug and poison monotypes. Basically, involves sending the opponent to sleep and then using either attack to nail them. After enough Quiver Dances, they typically go down.

Physically frail, though - relied on switching out for those.

A Hazard Pokemon
Venomoth (M/F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 Special Attack 252 Speed 4 hit points
Nature: Timid
- Sleep Power
- Quiver Dance
-Bug Buzz
- Toxic Spikes

''Hazard'' It is because the most important think in this build is Toxic Spikes, First Use sleep Power, Then 2 times Toxic Spikes...Use bug buzz...( If you want use Quiver dance) ;D

THIS IS A GEN 1 SET. DO NOT ASK ABOUT EVS AND ITEMS!

Venomoth (F) @ (No Item)
- Toxic
- Psychic
- Supersonic
- Whirlwind

After doing some battles with Rodaku, I realized just how evil this thing was back in Gen 1. The Toxic and Whirlwind combo not only prevents the opponent from setting up, but it makes sure that you're able to whittle down the opposing team before they can do some serious damage. Supersonic prevents certain threats to Venomoth from doing any serious damage. Once you have the Confused, you have your choice of phazing them out, or you can take them out with Psychic. Either way, your opponent isn't going to be very happy with their entire team poisoned.

[s]What about stats bro? And items?[/s]

Quiverpass

ipasstou (Venomoth) (F) @ Black Sludge

Trait: Shield Dust
EVs: 188 Def / 144 SDef / 176 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Quiver Dance
- Sleep Powder
- Baton Pass
- Substitute/ HP Water

Dis simple set here is easy. Make your foe sleep by tossing your sleep powder all over it, then set up sub so if they wake up and hit you can still pass. Do your quivering then pass if you still have sub, even better. HP Water instead of sub for coverage.

Offensive

Venomoth (M/F) @ Black Sludge

Trait: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 HP / 252 Sp
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Quiver Dance
- Psychic
- Bug Buzz
- Substitute / HP Water / Sleep Powder / HP Ground / HP Rock / Attract

Dat attacking Venomoth. It can be quite a threat after a Quiver Dance in UU.

Edit: Yeah, I know. I was running out of time.
After a QD and Tinted Lens, with average 'sweeping standards' (from Smogon) it will be able to outspeed quite a number of Pokes and hopefully kill some of opponent's Pokemon. Having 4x resistance to Bug and Fighting, it will be able to switch in safely to some Pokemon as well. Edited by TripleRhu
