Most fun pokes / strats to use for a playthrough of Reborn?

Hi everyone!

I've just finished my 3rd run of reborn since completion. First time I used a pretty generic team updating as I go, second time I used a trick room team, for the third I used a baton pass team.

Wanting to start another runthrough - is there any particular team theme (or individual pokes) that you'd consider the most fun to use throughout? eg. I absolutely loved using Cinnico with a kings rock for my first playthrough, the thing was an absolute menace. And Ursaring for the trick room team went brr.

TLDR: what pokes have you guys found the most fun to use? early and late game - can be whatever, I just want to see if there's anything different that I'm missing that is really worth trying :D

Perhaps you can try a terrain-based team? There's a variety of pokemon that can change terrain, at least eventually, and Sylveon is one of them. Furthermore, you can choose Eevee as a starter by using the Eevee password. I'm not really a specialist in this regard, but Sylveon hits hard with pixelate and hyper voice, and the field changing move misty terrain removes the ability for it to have status ailments. It is slow, compared to other team members, though.

There's also the status-based style, and brute force teams, though they can be less interesting.

Furthermore, there's the more challenging mono-type runs. I'm more proficient in dragon and fire types, and I know that there are quite a few decent ones in each type (as well as bad ones...).

The dragon type one would have a fair secondary type variety, I believe, as well as better overall stats. There's kingdra, salamence, hydregion (or however it is spelled), mega charizard x, and whatever the dragon/poison pokemon was called. The problem here is the steel, ice, and fairy type gyms.

The fire type one would have charizard, fletchinder, turtanator, camerupt, pyroar, incineroar, etc. The water and rock type gyms would be a big roadblock. You'll need fly to change the terrain. The ice type gym can also prove difficult.

I like running Grassy Field with Things That BurnTM

Taking the opponents Field away is a strong strategy in almost all major fights and Grassy Terrain is the first one you get access to. Fire is also probably the best Type for indiscriminately spamming moves since both a field and weather that boost Fire can be created at will.

Grassy Field is also the most versatile of the Fields you can create; you can leave it as-is for Grass Types and defensive mons, burn it for Fire Types or use Sludge Wave to turn it into a Corrosive Field. You could probably build a pretty adaptable team using Grassy Field, Sunny Day and some Grass, Fire and Poison Types.
