My favorite weapon would be the key-blade because its so awesome. There is so many cool different versions like Ultima, Oblivion, Oathkeeper.

Another one of my favs is the chain whip, known as the yin yang weapon. It is well concealed until it is thrown out revealing a long sharp edged snake sword

Pretty much they are so compact they can hide within a hand or garment showing helplessness until it is whipped out bearing metal barbs along a 15 foot or so rope, yeah epic

I'm highly skeptical of the practically of all those chain/whip weapons you mention.

I like swords but I'm sure I'd do much better with spear. That reach is a major advantage.

A simple rapier. Fast, accurate, and light. Especially when your character is a girl with crazy speed.

Execpt Alina always has a knife hidden in her clothes, and another invisible sword strapped onto her back, and countless needles in her bag. Range, power, and surprise all covered.

By far, the Star Wars lightsaber, followed closely by the Battlefront 2 game's prize-for-badasses-exclusive laser sniper rifle, capable of kill an endless row of enemies in a single shot.

Poleaxes are imba IRL. As far as sheer coolness goes, i think the katar takes the prize. Why? BECAUSE YOU STAB PEOPLE BY PUNCHING THEM. FUCK YEAH.

I'd have to go with a sword. Probably a longsword, no shield. If not that, then a greatsword of some sort, but I feel like they'd be too slow. It has to look cool too. Preferably a black blade, but the look isn't as important I guess.

Yeah, great big and long swords are terrible slow, but probably better against armor and might not shatter against something as solid as an axe or mace.

And now that someone actually knows what they're called (I totally learned a new thing today), katars ARE pretty badass. Now think of the ones Sora has from dot/hack//sign.
