First, is it possible for it to activate after a wild battle? And second, will it only activate if you defeat a pokemon? As in running quickly away won't ever net you an item? Calentz Posted July 12, 2020 Share Posted July 12, 2020 Can confirm it works on both wild and trainer battles.  I would imagine it only activates only after you win a battle (keeping in mind it's only about a 10% chance) otherwise people could just go to the wild and keep running away.
