Multi hit moves always hitting 5 times

Is this a bug? cheep AI? or just really really really fecking bad luck becuase every time i use multi hits i get two to 3 but the ai who uses multi hit in like every other battle always hits 5 times

Maybe you are fighting pkmn with ability Skill Link?  this ability does always guarantee to be 5 hits if not then you are just super unlucky i guess

Then it has to be really bad luck I guess because only one or two have had the ability to have that ability so rip I guess

I thought there was an item with that effect of increasing the strikes but I cannot remember right now.

That happened to me a lot during the beggining of the game. I don't know why that happened, but it did. It was also quite common for Pokémon that attacked first (that used a move that could cause flinch) flinched my Pokémon every turn. I wonder if it's from the AI too.

However, now that I'm more advanced in the game, that doesn't happen anymore.

Well, I hope this happens to you too! Also, just like other people say, if a Pokémon has the potencial to have the Skill Link ability, you know that they have the Skil Link ability.
