As such, you'll need to redownload the game and then run the updater. Cool cool, is that going to restart my progress though? Or will it keep all my save data? Edit: never mind, I downloaded the new version and everything was kept, and it worked! Tysm Out of curiosity, will my recycling bin trubbish ever evolve? I have him up to level 65 now, so I've kind of lost hope that he'll become a recycling bin garbador, but I thought I'd ask anyway. It has the stats of Garbodor by default

jdog99
Hi! Just completed Case 20 and almost all of the sidequests, this has by far been the best Pokemon fan game I've played, are there any news of when the rest of the game will come out?
Merlinus
This is by far the best pokemon experience I've ever played, I think ever. Sylvester, Truffles, and Mordecai are so endearing! I also love all of the regional forms we get to find with Trubbish, Aerodactyl, Noctowl, and Maractus and many others. The regional Noctowl is by far the coolest new mon in the game in my opinion. The armor makes it so badass.
Redatto
Hey, great game! Really interesting change from the usual pokemon formula. One question, according to the documentation you can get a Rotom in the Shopping District. I assume it's supposed to be the house on the left of the mall where the lady talks about the tv being broken, but I can't seem to get it to work. Tried changing my clock to night and everything, is this a bug or am I missing something?

You're likely just getting unlucky

Roben4
Hello Michael, I've just finished your game. First off, it's a fantastic game, and I'm really looking forward to you completing Case #20. I wanted to contribute a bit of my personal feedback (I apologize if my comments sound rude or make you feel uncomfortable due to my limited English). The addition of Regional Forms for the Pokémon is incredibly cool with beautiful designs, and almost all of them are a 10/10. However, in my opinion, apart from Aerodactyl, most of the other regional Pokémon are not very usable (even Aerodactyl, despite its strong attack and speed, is extremely frail). I really want to use the regional forms, but they are all too fragile, and their attacking power isn't outstanding. For some reason (perhaps my computer is too weak), the overall gameplay was fine—the game ran smoothly—but when I opened the menu, there was a slight lag when navigating it (opening the bag, phone). A strength of the game is its storyline, which feels quite good, but I feel like the difficulty sometimes spikes abruptly. Also, those special items you added—I wanted to buy more, but there was no place to purchase them. In conclusion, although I faced some skill issues, I think your game is a wonderful game, and I'm looking forward to the sequel!
Obsidian Swordsman
I'm at about Case Six, and I wanted to post some of my thoughts so far. Spoilers hidden of course. Spoiler Mainly, the story. I really like the concept of a detective game set in the Pokemon universe -- it combines two of my most well-liked video game genres. That said, after Case 2, it...sort of feels like it deviates pretty heavily away from the detective aspect. Sure, Case 3 has you tracking down a missing person, but all-in-all it sort of just becomes more of a mafia and administrative corruption story...and I mean, fair, Sylvester did mention his distaste with Riverview's corruption during the beginning monologue. And it's not a BAD thing, mind. Just that at a certain point it stopped feeling like I had to exercise deductive skills and reasoning and start treating the Lonardos closer to a traditional Evil Team, or at least some sort of antagonistic force. Hell, a good majority of one of the cases so far was spent trying to guess what Leonardo wanted me to say as if he were a stereotypical upset girlfriend. On that note, I'm not particularly invested in Leonardo and Sylvester's dynamic...I know they're 'best friends,' but up until the big heel turn where he's revealed to be the Don there wasn't much reason to really care about Leo. I know he used to be Sylvester's boss, but if anything the game goes out of its way to show how Sylvester generally did not enjoy his time on the force due to gross incompetence and corruption. A friendship with the chief already feels like it shouldn't have happened, and the fact that he was involved with the Lonardo's isn't...really that much of a surprise. And hey! Maybe Sylvester realized that and this is an intentional character-flaw, like he intentionally overlooked the obvious hints for the sake of his friendship! ...Then we adventured through his family crypt together for...some reason...? It let me evolve Truffles so I guess all's well that ends well, but still. Oh, on the topic of Truffles...I like Truffles. She's great for showing off the more human side to Sylvester, and I really liked the investigation scene during Case 2 where she could hound him for treats and affection. Not much really to say, I very much appreciate her inclusion, and while it does make the cool Delibird starter you get at the beginning of the game a bit redundant, the flavor and effort in her writing more than makes up for it. (Actually, Truffles does sort of have a bad habit of overshadowing your starters. Delibird with Sylvester and being far and away better than Mordecai's Snipsnaps.) Anyway, as I said, I'm only at Case 6, so the issues I have so far might be too hasty. Just thought I'd say something since the story-shift bugged me. What mostly drove me to want to write my thoughts down was...well, Delibird. I like Delibird, and I think it's really cool that you get one as a starter with its own pre-built moveset. It's its signature move that really bothers me... Subzero 20 Base Power Ice-Type, Special A high chance of inflicting Frostbite It's uh...really bad....is it supposed to be bad? Based off the Delibird Man's dialogue, I'm assuming its Delibird's own custom signature move (and probably Iron Bundle? I know he hinted at that being available somewhere...), but I'm sorry this move is just not good...20 base power is as strong as Nuzzle, and it only has half the PP. And unlike Nuzzle it's not even a guarantee that you'll inflict Frostbite -- which while useful, is not nearly as consistently useful as Paralysis. It would have a use against powerful Special Attackers, but Delibird is frail; you already have an issue if you're relying on Delibird to protect you from a scary sweeper. I'm guessing, since this thread was first posted in 2020, this move was made before Legends Arceus came out and introduced Frostbite, so it was DESIGNED with Freeze in mind rather than Frostbite, which is far, FAR more powerful a status, and the description even mentions "freeze" itself. But in its current state, the move only inflicts Frostbite, which is nowhere NEAR worth it. Keep in mind, the game heavily encourages you to use Truffles -- another Ice-Type. (Delibird even catches a stray from Sylvester when the Delibird Man praises it, with Sylvester silently disagreeing in favor of Swinub...when it's right there in his party, right now.) Delibird is already competing for a team-slot. Why would you go out of your way to gamble for a chance at a special-attacker's Burn, when you could just use Ice Beam for a chance at knocking the opponent out outright, with Frostbite as a potential side-effect? It's still not a guarantee, but neither is Subzero's. And what is a guarantee with Subzero is that it hits like a wet-noodle with its 20 base power coming off Delibird. This move just makes me very sad. It was pretty clearly made to balance the most devastating status in the game but wasn't changed once that status was replaced. So it's a bad move on a very unfortunate Pokemon. Please buff Subzero. You can even go crazy with it, because it's Delibird. Make it as powerful as Ice Beam with that higher Frostbite chance, since I know Freeze likely isn't coming back. Or make it a guaranteed Frostbite! This thing just really isn't good...
