It hurts when I'm reminded Amaria has no idea who we are. But I'm also scared of what will happen when/if she remembers. She's a bit bust cleaning up a body. Does she do that often? ....... Why? This "puzzle" is slightly annoying as you have to swim around until you find a room with changing lights and then you have to actually find Amaria. Kinda need that badge .......... I kind of want to But as you've already been beat by Meteor I don't think that's the best idea. Oh ok Right into existential crisis That..... That was quite the turn And possibly the first actual 'ow the edge' moment in this game More something she did. .......... Ok Rant time Due to this event Amaria became one of the most hated characters in the game. I find that weird. Yes the act itself is horrible and hurts her likability But it's nowhere near without motive Some people think that Amaria faked her memory loss. She didn't Amaria has no recollection of her time with us Invading the Meteor base, her saving our lives, and everything else we've done. She knows almost nothing. But this is what she does know. We showed up and Titania has been acting strange ever since And then Titania leaves to fight us Then we show up No Titania and we have the bracelets that Amaria has cherished for years What's the conclusion? The player has done something They have infiltrated Amaria's already fragile world and shattered it As long as they exist Amaria's life won't go back to how it was Despite her knowing it was all a charade Amaria was happy, or as happy as she could be, and just wants to return to that She has no context of what the player has done for Reborn and doesn't think our disappearance will have any serious consequence All Amaria is doing is protecting what little she has Her motives are reasonable Her methods however are questionable Basically Amaria got hate for this, which is understandable, but to the point where people were asking for her to die? I don't think she deserves that. Yes Hi I am here I highly doubt that, but fine. That doesn't justify your actions. Also you say that like I don't mind Titania's I think I've made my case very clear. What about Hardy? .............. Aaaand she's gone ....... Also see She apologizes It doesn't mean much but at least she does Meanwhile we never get even a 'thank you' from Titania Instead we get "Turns out I didn't need you." So Amaria does regret But she knows it doesn't actually mean anything So she'll give us a battle And then we'll be done. With that out of the way time to talk symbolism Specifically the two paths of E17 Zekrom and Reshiram Ideals and Truth In Zekrom, Taka continues serving Meteor, keeping his ideal that despite Meteor's actions he wants to be there with his father, the only family he seems to have Titania keeps up the charade, keeping to her ideal of making sure Amaria doesn't cave in again, no matter what she must do Now Reshiram Taka leaves Meteor. His Truth is that he wants out of Meteor even if it means abandoning his father. Even if it means death. Titania wants to end her facade and does so, leaving Amaria to do as she will. I haven't played Reshiram E18 yet, but I'll take notes of the differences between the two paths when I do that. But it will be interesting to see how these two paths diverge as things go on. ........... You useless Electric leader. Now After two pages of images The gym battle. No Not at all \ .......... A good person? Just a hint. .......... The problem is she's not wrong about it being my fault I have a part in Titania leaving, but I'm not the main reason. Revive Ok So this is where Do-S again becomes the MVP Larpas moveset Dive Ice Shard Rest Curse Nothing can kill Do-S in 2 hits so I can attack twice and then heal So I'm here slowly wearing her down more and more I am out of Poison Jabs Now have to used Liquidation NOOOOO It ran out of Dive and spammed Curse for ages YES FINALLY ........ Please please please please don't die Because we need that place for the final gym Also that'd be mass murder I'd rather that not be the case No one was expecting what that would lead to. No one. Finals is a few weeks away and I already feel dead inside a month ago,I don't actually enjoy playing pokemon or reading fanfiction anymore.Hopefully I will regain some spark after exam is over...for now I will just hanging around the forum like a ghost,I'm even too lazy to type right now WTF is wrong with me. I kinda feel bad for Amaria...having a one-sided relationship,and with Titania with all people.Still,to the point off killing the MC is a bit extreme for me yikes.Then again maybe if the MC is not wearing the bracelet and Titania not running away and acting like a hypocrite things would be all fine and dandy.And apparently all it takes to make Titania said "I'm not a lesbian so I don't love you also ur very clingy,bye." is for my hubby Taka to die and us getting drowned god so NOT worth it. ALSO why are you still in singles? I thought that in the reshiram route if you choose single she will use doubles and vice versa hmm...... Seeing the player travel with Taka warms my heart ( ; ᵕ ; ) it was really a surprise for me seeing Taka react to everything because I'm too much if a pussy to play the reshiram route ಥ_ಥ oh well maybe I will try this route in my next play through. Wow I've been doing this for over a year now Yes I've ended up with 3.5 months of hiatus due to me being lazy, but still I've been doing this for a while. So uh Thanks everyone who's still reading this, after all this time. We're almost done here actually, i think I'll only have one more update after this and then that's it until E19 drops. I'm getting ahead of myself, I'll do a formal closing thing when I actually get to the end of E18. Alola Reborn part 44 The Battle for Agate Spoiler And I'm outta thereThat was a lovely tripWhy are you here?hmHasn't made any religious speeches yetMight not be El.........This might be worse somehow.I think I will.OkSo as this is Radomus, you know there's gonna be a lot of talking.And I mean a lotI had 1000+ screenshots of this man going on and onSo for the sake of all our sanitiesAllow me to paraphraseSo Radomus and Serra have some banter and then Radomus launches into a flashback about how they got thereApparently Luna said a 'friend' told her of the Glass Factory, and Radomus and Gossip Gardevoir went with herThen Serra showed up, having been invited there by GG, as a sort of family reunion for LunaRadomus breaks the 4th wall, as he's wearing an Ash Ketchum hat, and they enter the factory As I had already cleared the way in, they showed up in time to see me being hypnotized and giving Bennett the Sapphire bracelets Little conversation between Bennett and Serra as Bennett says the only reason he's there is to pay back his debt to El for making him an E4 memberHe then apologizes to Luna, really only to clear his own conscious since he knows Luna has already forgiven him.Zero does his thing of changing voices, and then gets the idea to use me to fight everyone off.There are also these power dips things that keep occurring for some reason.I wreck Luna, while Bennett slightly questions his choices having made Luna an enemy for good nowMore banter and innuendo from Serra and Radomus while I receive Full RestoresI wreck them Zero starts bragging about how powerful he is now that he controls me.And my personal favorite partBennett goes savage calling Zero outBennett tells Zero that using me is just his obsession with control Zero hasn't had full control over his body in so long, bossing Eve and Lumi around, and now that they're gone he's making due with meBennett also reminds Zero that he was almost useless before he became ZEL.After giving Zero a bit of an existential crisis, Radomus decides it's time for Bennett to be reminded of his actions.To his credit, Bennett admits what he's doing isn't perhaps morally correct, but he views it as repaying his debts.Radomus asks if Bennett isn't just running for his choices and Bennett decides it's time to put everyone to sleep.But before Zero gets the PULSE to do so, GG walks upAnd creates a black holeProclaims her love for Radomus, and obliterates the PULSE taking myself, Cain, and Luna with her.After surveying the damage Zero panics a bit and Bennett sends him away telling him to explain to Lin what happened Radomus puts on an El costume after Bennett, like a normal human, grieves at what had just happened to Luna and Radomus asks Bennett what he thinks of these ends.Bennett then explains he only ever joined up with El in hopes of becoming stronger and El had delivered.
