I tried looking for Cartel's newest song on youtube (can't wait for that album if you haven't noticed; four days <3) to see if they uploaded it yet, and while they didn't, I did find this on accident

Okay with this.jpg

What do you mean?

I kinda want to write a long response that would be rather ranty in part but I'll be lazy and settle for this right now:

The really soft, sensitive rock/pop stuff is your thing. The last song you posted, owl city, and others makes me say that you really like lyrics that are kinda, almost poetic but I think are really bad sometimes (especially that one and that one owl city song). They kinda give me a whiney vibe when their 'poetics' don't make me groan. I know, I know, this coming from the guy who loves his sad songs and love songs

Oh, but here's a song:

Fairy Tale by Shaman

Edit: I suddenly reminded myself that this song exists.

@ Mael yeah I can see that from recent songs and I can't deny it :P

Though I actually listen to just about anything; typically if I like the sound of it that's all that's really necessary, sometimes even if the lyrics aren't relevant per se... Here's a good example:

(thank you guitar hero)

I can't even understand it but it's nice <3

I've seen my peoples dreams die
I see what they can be denied
And "weeds not a drug" that's denial
Groundhog day life repeat each time
I've seen Oxycontin take 3 lives
I grew up with them, we used to chief dimes
I've seen cocaine bring out the demons inside
Cheatin' and lyin'
Friendship cease, no peace in the mind
Stealin' and takin' anything to fix the pieces inside
Broken, hopeless, headed no where
Only motivation for what the dealer's supplyin'

Heard this first on someone's pandora playlist, or so I thought. Then I find it and hear it and realize it's the song they used in the preview for the Croods I saw when I went to see Oz just the other day.

This makes the 3rd straight strong from this band that I've really enjoyed. For me, that's kind of a high record for most bands.
