This game and nostagia

I have just recently played through Reborn and Rejuvenation and upon coming back to the main cities after completing the way too addicting story, i feel nostalgic even after only playing it for about 2 days. You programmers put some weird drugs into your games.

Reborn has a nostalgic feel to it that always makes me come back eventually. I firmly believe that Ame is brainwashing us by making her game emit cryptic messages over very high frequencies. The wavelength prevents us from propery hearing, but it's here, calling us all... like the whispers of old gods O_o

It's really one of the franchise's best starting zones, counting both mainline and fangames.

 

So many Pokemon games just use the same old tiny town-grass route-bigger town opening, but Reborn doesn't do that and it sets up a darker, more oppressive mood better than pretty much every other fangame out there. Only the other two fangames on here, Rejuvenation and Desolation, even come close, and of the mainline games only XY and BW2 have a unique feel to the opening.
