Lemme explain it as simple as possible, ok so for example you have a 6IV Ordinary mon so you can request either another 6IV ordinary one or a 5IV Special One(eg. 5IV genderless, 5IV w/ egg moves, 5 IV w/ a rare item). If you have more questions just PM me, luis, HUEnd or Amine elhedhili

And regarding the Item, I think as it is (held by a trashmon), 5IV female will suffice but if you want a 5IV mon plus the Rare Item then it's worth 6IV+.
