Coming from my experience in competitive battling, anything can be good or bad depending on how you use said Pokemon. I could probably round up a competitive battling team before my first badge that was diverse and coherent. Also; Abra takes effort to evolve even if it happens to be at level 16. How do you plan to involve evolutions for Pokemon that normally evolve via trade (Gurdurr, Electabuzz, etc)?
