ZEL 349 Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Sometimes I do wonder if the citizens of Ametrine were seriously so spooked by the house that nobody ever thought of entering it, or if police investigations about the "death" of two girls were carried out so badly that they plain didn't notice the strange machine and the fact that there's a diary telling of the incident. You'd think people would be looking into the matter, considering Lumi even describes that the townsfolk were helping them stay afloat, suggesting people cared about them. (That, or the diary's story struck them as so weird and impossible that they thought this couldn't be it and just settled for "well they died"?) Only part of the game that actually managed to make me cry a bit, because I'm nothing if not a weak-ass bitch. Link to post Share on other sites
Alistair 705 Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 As far as police investigations go, Reborn was already known for its corruption and exhausted police forces even before our arrival in the region. That and the fact Team Meteor probably did everything they could to hide the incident caused the truth to remain unknown until we came there to put our mad diary reading skillz to good use. The townsfolk probably didn't want anything to do with this fishy matter either and easily settled for the "well, they died, too bad" explanation.
