wytch_doctr
So yeah, this thread is for any Pokemon that you want to make, similar to Smogon's CAP. I might add awesome creations to this OP. You can have stuff like signature abilities and moves, or even Megas. Lemme start this off: I find the lack of a fast, physical Ghost attacker frustrating, so here it is. Ghoulinx -> Spirilinx Type: / Height: 5'9" Weight: 65kg Abilities: Iron Fist, Unaware, No Guard (H) Moves: Spirit Crush (signature) Dynamic Punch Extreme Speed Mach Punch Drain Punch Elemental Punches Shadow Sneak Knock Off Taunt Sucker Punch Earthquake Stone Edge Rock Slide Swords Dance Bulk Up Poison Jab X-Scissor Iron Head Stats: Hp : 80 Atk : 130 Def : 60 SpAtk : 45 SpDef : 60 Spd : 135 BST : 510 Signature Move: Spirit Crush Affected by Iron Fist 100 BP 70% accuracy High critical hit rate 20% chance to flinch A lithe, streamlined fox-like Pokemon, coloured fully purple and black apart from it's red eyes. With one of it's front paws packing a scythe shaped claws, and the other a fist that rivals Hellboy's, this beast can outspeed and take down many threats easily. However, it may have a hard time against bulky fairy types who can outlive any damage Spirilynx dishes out. However, it packs plenty of priority moves, and can finish off most near-death Pokemon. Now, your turn. Show me what y'all can do!

Offensively it has access to many strong special moves like Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse and Focus Blast, which coupled with his decent 100 Speed can take care of many threats below the 100 speed tier quite easily. At the same time it can cater to the team's defensive needs by using its support movepool just as well, forcing many switches due to its wide coverage and taking opportunities to throw Stealth Rock, or burn an unsuspected foe. Zanda has two remarkable abilities to switch from, Intimidate and Competitive, which can turn it into a fearsome wallbreaker or a defensive support pokemon. However, it's lack of reliable recovery makes it harder to pull of the second role. When offensive, Zanda can use choice items to become even more fearsome, but a life orb can always be used as a safe alternative. Defensively it can make use of leftovers or an Assault vest, provided you have a team member capable of passing wishes around to keep Zanda healthy (which shouldn't be a problem since it will avoid being hit by super effective moves thanks to its great typing)

NickCrash
No, it is not mine. I found it in DeviantArt, like you, but couldn't remember the creator (so he's credited as... unknown in my signature). Since the CAP is not necessarily exactly like the panda in the photo, we can keep the name.

Pixl
Oh shit I can post the best thing I ever came up with. I had pictures of them, I'll see if I can find them, but I probably can't. Smalsa >Lv. 37> Stralsa >Lv. 47> Salstreme Classification: Salsa Pokemon Egg Group: Monster and Amorphous (Salstreme only) Type: Fire/Water Abilities: Flash Fire, Storm Drain, Hidden Ability: Water Absorb HP: 47 > 67 > 87 Attack: 53 > 73 > 103 Defense: 53 > 63 > 93 Sp. Like a quadruped with those little legs. It was rly cute trust. The Stralsa was bigger, beefier, and the salsa was overflowing, with some chips stuck in the salsa that looked like back spikes. Also an angry expression. Salstreme was like a Bouldergeist-looking thing (http://www.mariowiki.com/images/d/d5/Bouldergeist_SMG.png) with a giant bowl as the base, with a stream of salsa going up to connect to an upside-down bowl with eyes that made up its head. The salsa branched off for arms that each have bowls as fists too, and there were tortilla chips as spikes all over it too. Yeah, it was legit. NickCrash
! Since we're making a CAP project , please try not to make your pokemon as OP as possible. Give them believable stats, abilities and decide about the moves basing them on the concept you have about the pokemon, not the other way around. Ok here's another of mine. Feel free to discuss about them and tell me which things could be changed, negative traits, or just point out what to keep. Mizuquito Alright, this one does not fool around. This one can bring you malaria. It is a mosquito that lives in the waters. Actually it has lived in them so long, it has evolved into a part Water type. It's feet are practically aquatic solutions with very small concentrations of its own cells, while it keeps its autonomy thanks to the very tight gap junctions the waterproof epithelium on its legs has. It is a majectic creature with a long pointy nose that can function as a gun (a water-gun hehe) and a lance at the same time, thanks to the unique anatomy of the creature. The body is stripes with blue and black colours, and in the back it has 2 almost transparent wings with which it throws its scales away to the unsuspected victim. A sinister creature, inches before becoming a dark type. Type: Bug / Water Abilities: Hydration / Swarm, Hidden: Storm Drain HP: 92 Attack: 55Defense: 97Special Attack: 93Special Defense: 97Speed: 61 BST: 495 [Moves to be added soon]

zimvader42
Bug/Steel with Flash Fire? Talk about OP >_< That effectively leaves the mon with no weaknesses. And with 100-100-110 bulk, it's only a matter of it setting up a swords dance and then use x-scissor and iron head until everything in the opponent's team dies. A bit OP, could be said. Unless you carry a fire type with mold breaker and a strong fire blast, because otherwise... well you can always burn it, oh, except you can't! because flash fire also absorbs will-o-wisp to raise fire power.... NickCrash
Previous topicsBazaro: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2574&hl=create N8theGr8: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=202&hl What we can do is merge them together, and change the way the old ones were presented, to make it easier for the viewer to read them. That said, in order not to go off-topic, here's another. You didn't ask for this, but I'm presenting it anyway. Savaroth This one is a weird anthropomorphic pokemon. The main body consists of vines, intertwined and expanding from one limb to another. Think of it like a Bellsprout's body on steroids. The vines create formations that resemble muscles on the arms and legs, but one could just see them as thicker intertwined vines with small branches as we reach the ends of the limbs. Then picture a square wooden mask on its face, which forms a small angle where its nose is supposed to be. The vines extend from the sides, top and bottom of the mask, and somewhat cover the front, but just a bit. Two red-coloured eyes can be seen from small sockets on the mask. Its backside is covered with rocky formations, and pops small yet thick spikes along each side of its spine, forming two rows of pointy rocks. The rock works as an exosceleton that covers part of the shoulders and is slowly fading as we move further down. Returning to the limbs, the "hands" seem as if they wear rocky gloves with claws on them. The claws are in fact hydroxyapatite (the same substance our teeth have) and resemble adamantine closely, which means they can tear through various materials with little effort. The same goes for the legs, but here the gloves have holes on the surface that touches the ground. Type: Grass / Rock Abilities: Weak Armor / Natural Cure, Hidden: Tough ClawsHP: 60Attack: 135Defense: 70Special Attack: 70Special Defense: 60Speed: 105BST: 500 Level-up moves soon...-ish... Well, I figured that since Eelektross has no weaknesses and is still in RU, it wouldn't be too OP. Plus, it can't learn any attack-raising moves; only defense-raising moves. I also kind of has four-moveslot syndrome, as it can't fit all of its attacks (super fang, iron head, attack order, defend order, heal order, etc.) into one set. I'm more surprised people aren't freaking out about Fur Coat + 100 Defense... I guess I could lower that defense, though. It is a little too high. People aren't freaking out about fur coat + 100 defense because having fur coat means you can't be taken down physically, but overheat, fire blast or any strong STAB move coming from a special fire type will be able to either OHKO or do severe damage, which can't hapoen with flash fire. Also, if you can burn the fur coat variant, it is easier to take down as long as it doesn't run recovery (as heal order, for example). An offensive one with flash fire can run super fang to halve the HP of every non-ghost target, get a 30% chance of flinch with iron head, high critical hit ratio with attack order, and either run heal order in the last slot for recovery in sets that do not invest much defensively, or defend order in sets that are interested in becoming as bulky as possible the sooner the better. In this regard, the fur coat variants can invest in attack and special defense, while the flash fire ones don't even need to invest in any defense whatsoever: 252 atk EVs with adamant nature and maybe life orb considering you can run heal order and use it when needed, and you have a terrifying wall-breaker that is a wall on its own, with no weaknesses and that cannot be burned, poisoned and all that can set leech seed suffers against attack order, and everything that can set up in front of it gets 50% of its HP out thanks to super fang... it is stronger than Eelektross, that's for sure. I run a flash fire mega scizor in balanced hackmons, and you know how often is it taken down? aproximately once every 8 battles. Basically if the foe is not setting up or has some major mold breaker fire, flash fire scizor just can't go down without setting its rocks or defogging. That's similar to this.
