slant
i've been trying to get a team going with a firespam core since the past gen but never gotten it to work. can you make a team out of Charizard @ Charizardite Y Ability: Blaze EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Fire Blast - Solar Beam - Focus Blast - Roost Heatran @ Choice Specs EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Fire Blast - Flamethrower - Earth Power - Flash Cannon

This very much is a FWG-core with the premise being to clear the way for Mega-Sharpedo. This is also an opportunity to learn a little bit how you build, so that I can apply some of it to myself... Reignited'Light
I lied. I was going to make one team only for a person, but it's whatever at this point roflSlant and Hilda teams So I gave Charizard a slightly different set. I believe a Modest nature with Flamethrower is more consistent than a Timid nature with Fire Blast, because who wants to miss every once in a while? Focus Blast..Anyway, so I partnered Tyranitar so you can beat some Latios, Latias, bulky psychic mon. Also beats Talonflame, which is very annoying for your Fire spam core. Tentacruel and Hippowdon set up Hazards, while the former can spin them away from your field. Tentacruel also beats Clefable and some stall teams with Acid Spray, which comes in handy against Calm Mind users. Wobbuffet helps eliminate stall teams, so Tyranitar can switch in and Pursuit something for so much power. Nice squad. Charizard @ Charizardite Y Ability: Blaze EVs: 16 HP / 252 SpA / 240 Spe Modest Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Flamethrower - Solar Beam - Focus Blast - Roost Heatran @ Choice Specs Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Fire Blast - Flamethrower - Earth Power - Flash Cannon Tyranitar @ Choice Band Ability: Sand Stream EVs: 152 HP / 252 Atk / 104 Spe Adamant Nature - Stone Edge - Crunch - Pursuit - Superpower Tentacruel @ Black Sludge Ability: Liquid Ooze EVs: 224 HP / 220 SpD / 64 Spe Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Toxic Spikes - Rapid Spin - Acid Spray - Scald Hippowdon @ Leftovers Ability: Sand Stream EVs: 248 HP / 96 Def / 164 SpD Careful Nature - Stealth Rock - Slack Off - Earthquake - Whirlwind Wobbuffet (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Shadow Tag EVs: 32 HP / 252 Def / 72 SpD / 152 Spe Bold Nature - Tickle - Encore - Mirror Coat - Counter So I made a Hyper Offense team with this core. This team has all sorts of good matchups because of Breloom and Talonflame just crushing souls. Once the opponent is weakened, Sharpedo cleans up. I gave Sharpedo a Jolly nature, but Adamant works as well for more power. I just like the speed before any boosts. If Mega Sableye gives you problems, use a offensive stealth rock/swords dance garchomp with Lum Berry, and it should be better. Reignited'Light
Rules are meant to be broken, so I'll just build regularly.Alright, got some Hyper Offense squads for Glalie and Linoone and some Venomoth team rofl. Nuke every single team with Explosion from Azelf and Glalie. Mega Sableye can probably be a bitch to deal with, so just make sure Glalie is healthy to use Explosion, and make sure Kyurem-Black is healthy as well. Or just slap Calm Mind on Latios instead of EQ. Reignited'Light
Ok, here are these teams right here.Use Sableye to burn physical attackers and cripple sweepers with Foul Play. Also a nice Utility since Knock Off can cripple so many pokemon as well. The team is pretty balanced, imo. Just keep Heatran and Sableye alive to check Talonflame though. Sableye @ Sablenite Ability: Prankster EVs: 248 HP / 124 Def / 136 SpD Impish Nature - Will-O-Wisp - Knock Off - Recover - Foul Play Scizor @ Life Orb Ability: Technician EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Swords Dance - Bullet Punch - Bug Bite - Superpower Keldeo-Resolute @ Choice Specs Ability: Justified EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 1 Atk / 30 SpA - Scald - Hydro Pump - Secret Sword - Hidden Power [Electric] Latios (M) @ Life Orb Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 29 HP / 0 Atk - Calm Mind - Draco Meteor - Psyshock - Roost Heatran (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 224 HP / 244 SpD / 40 Spe Calm Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Stealth Rock - Protect - Lava Plume - Toxic Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Iron Barbs EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD Sassy Nature IVs: 0 Spe - Leech Seed - Spikes - Protect - Gyro Ball CM Slack Off and Two attacks>CroBro, but it’s just my preference. Use Tentacruel to toxic stall stuff so Mega Slowbro can set up Calm Minds safely. Everything else just gets rid of usual counters/checks to slowbro, like Tyranitar gets rid of lati, and Keldeo benefits from toxic spikes as well. Scarf Landorus is a great Pivot along with Jirachi since it goes into Tar and traps stuff. Amazing team. Reignited'Light
Burn doesn't take into account when you use Foul Play. Just the boosts and base attack, I believe.Plus, Foul Play hits Talonflame and Zard X, which is nice.
Etesian
Burn doesn't take into account when you use Foul Play. Just the boosts and base attack, I believe. Can confirm. It uses the foe's stat and boosts and the users burn/not-burn into account...for some reason. Thanks for the team! EDIT: By the way, what's the 88 Speed on Rotom for? Reignited'Light
EDIT: By the way, what's the 88 Speed on Rotom for? 88 Speed outspeeds Jolly Crawdaunt and everything below, which doesn't have that much use, but it doesn't hurt to outspeed it. Also, I don't like speed ties with other Rotom-W.

Reignited'Light
Ok, here are these last two teams.Honchkrow and Mienshao are great heavy offensive hitters. Beating up some Bisharp and Ferrothorn is pretty nice. Lando-T and Rotom-W pivot into either Honchkrow, mienshao, mega gardevoir, or scarf heatran. Since the team beats up Steel pokemon easily, I thought Mega Gardevoir would be beneficial, since it appreciates steel types to be removed. Life Orb Latios is also much more stronger than Mega Latios as well. Team is really offensive, so it breaks a lot of things. Jirachi is a great lure as well, so you’re able to pressure opponents because of that. I would use Thunderbolt>Energy Ball on Latios, but it’s just a personal preference. Keldeo and Raikou form a solid offensive core, and breaks stuff together.
