In the Obtainable Pokemon chart, it says that obtaining Chikorita is an in-game event, like mudkip and tepig. Does anyone know where the chikorita is?

Wait, I thought that was how you got Bulba?

It was changed recently to Chikorita.

You go to Azurine Island and give the man in the house previously inhabited by Team Meteor a Chimecho and he will give you the Chikorita.

Says bulbasaurs a limited event now.. which probably means if you didnt get it as a starter, you cant get it..

Currently, Gen I starters are only available as Game-beggining-starters and none is available as an event.
But if you got Bulbasaur before, you don't need Chimecho to get Chikorita.

so going by what your saying since i traded a chimeco for a bulbasuar a few episodes ago i can go back there and he'll just hand me a Chikorita.? or is Chikorita lost to me now?

You can also get Chicorita.
For Chimecho just get it's prior evo under the stairway, max its happiness and evolve it in the night
