Administrators Amethyst Posted April 15, 2011 Administrators Share Posted April 15, 2011 Many of you I've already told, or perhaps secondhand whispers of it have reached your ears by now. However, uh. I'm gonna be going away for a while, guys. I'm not exactly happy about this, but it's also not really avoidable. In truth, it's something I've been aware of and delaying since as early as January. Unfortunately, my time is up, and there's not much option about that. My absence is... indefinite, but I definitely will poke around the server and forum whenever I can. How often that will be, I truly have no idea yet. I'll also be in touch with some people via cellular communication. If anyone wants my number, just ask. Effectively, TheScarletSword will be replacing me as an admin. He will also be taking over my organisational duties regarding the league. How the lines themselves will work in my absence is yet to be determined, however. I'll be making a follow-up announcement regarding that probably early Saturday. Additonally, given the loss of auth in my absence Ashley has been promoted to a moderator position. So congrats to both her and Scarlet on the promotions. I can only trust that they, along with everyone else will do their best in my absence. That goes for all of you. I'm just one person who's name happens to be stored in the databases of this site pretty often; I don't do much for this site, and nothing has to change. Hell, some of you have even been unhappy with the way I've been running it lately, and so this is good. I won't be around to mess things up anymore. To the people who will miss me, well, you'll know how to get in touch. But nothing has to change. This isn't the end. Everything is going to be okay. Ikaru and Scarlet are in charge while I'm gone. They call the shots, and you will listen to them as you have to me. In the mean time, stand strong. I'll be around for a few days more to get everything squared away for when I'm not here.
