Commander Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I think the elephant in the room we need to address is the Pokemon battles. The Player vs Player battles have been a hassle and ended up creating this situation. First off, I don't think doing another tournament is a good idea, but if it has to be done, I'd say skip as many battles as possible and allow people to draft up an outcome of the battle instead of having everyone do every battle. Being able to end a battle at any time would pick them up faster and prevent us from getting caught up in too many of these messes. As for the whole players in and out, the answer is in itself. Obviously there's going to be an abduction, but remember that Kenny being killed is going to be revealed sooner or later. This will make the school feel unsafe for a lot of people and either they or their parents will force them to withdrawal. Nothing too serious has happened to make the school have to close down, but there will be plenty of tension going around. If anyone wants to drop back in, the school will allow them back otherwise, we'll assume they've been moved out. That's pretty much all my thoughts up til now. I'm really busy, but I'll get to posting Thursday night (or maybe tonight).

For now he'll be assumed to be missing (parents notified, letters sent home to all students), but missing persons aren't usually noticed for a day or so. The chapter title no longer really applies. There will not be any students abducted in this chapter, as we have few enough as is xD

Jory Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Two things: One, I'm not sure why every host here seems to be kill-happy. If you don't want your character dead, he/she will not die in this. Period. It's meant to be a fun roleplay, not super dark. Two, once Murdoc posts that Kage is in position to battle I'll be writing up the next post. This will trigger plot events. If you want to be involved, make sure your character is in one of the two places mentioned (the academic building or the Arena). That's it for housekeeping.

EDIT: Wow, that blew up fast. Glad to see so many people are still paying attention! The people involved in this will find themselves with a level advantage over those who weren't. Only really enough to know that the enemy were down the tunnel. I wouldn't and will not pull the same cliched pokeball breakout with anyone else. It was just useful to force Claude to go with.

Lana will go left of Claude wherever he ends up. There should be 3 of you on one side of Tyron and 3 on the other. You'll each fight 4 grunts. People converging from the exterior, you can just jump in wherever. Each of you will fight 5 grunts. Expect a lot of your attacks to hit. This is going to be back-and-forth between me and each of you fighting, so bear with the potentially-slow pacing. Grunts will have a random selection of 2 of these Pokemon each: Klink Klang Magnemite Magneton Voltorb Electrode Porygon Elgyem Aron Lairon Mawile Beldum Metang Eelektrik Stunfisk

Anyway, @ExLink You were absolutely right. I forgot your Frogadier had Protean. You can post as though the Headbutt attack had no effect.

I started physical therapy last week but I can't really sit around and type since it's pretty painful. That's why I've kinda dropped off the face of the earth and stopped going on my PC altogether. But recently I discovered this new game called Outside and it's awesome. The graphics are amazing and the companions you can acquire are super interesting and fun to be around.

Calling the date and time of death as it were. I would ask that the thread stay unlocked though in case a revive is a possibility pending our other Co-hosts. I'm sorry to everyone who stuck along so far with their characters and being patient. I'm hoping this post gives you all a small bit of closure and clears up any sadly hopeful confusion.
