Veterans Azeria Posted March 19, 2015 Veterans Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Doesnt really matter either way I just wanted to try and use one...in team things,Screw Aegislash,too OP so i'll likely have Poliwrath or Cloyster occupying that slot with the other 2 being occupied by Rhyperior/Cradily/Aurorus and Galvantula. Commander Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Actually, Aegislash isn't as good in the RP compared to competetively due to it's ability being a double edged sword (get it...because it's actually a...okay I'll stop). It takes a bit more strategy than spamming king's shield because that move locks you into defense mode...which can give some Pokemon a big advantage. Exlink, unfortunately for you, I won't be using Ingrain if I control Lileep. That'd make the fight WAAAY too easy.

If I wanted to win, I pretty much could have Lileep jump into the water and use Ingrain from there seeing as he could still attack Flare with Ancient Power. No, I'm merely testing Exlink's abilities to overcome a disadvantage.

I'm sitting here actually thinking on it for the first time, and it just now occurs to me that the stone sentinels technique could honestly work just fine without Stealth Rock if nemo was given enough training with using Ancient Power's other manifestation (it currently relies on the anime's manifestation) ... oh well, derp. but eh, guess I know something he'll be doing in between the end of Chapter 3 and the beginning of Chapter 4...

Commander Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I didn't mention this, but the Lileep is actually upside down due to its weight. And don't worry, this isn't my only trick I have for the Lileep. Also, that'll be my last post until late tonight as I have work. Edit: I might be having a little too much fun with this Lileep (maybe I should get a Cradily...nah, I like Lilligant better).

Commander Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Okay Azery, I just want to make sure of something. Are you picking Rotom and Machamp or are you not? If you're not using Rotom, I might use him over Raichu (lightining rod would be useful, but not vital) and if you're going for Machamp, I'd bring back Hitmontop because he's the only other one I can use the strategy with (probably not as effective though).

I might keep Kanga for Year 2 and Add Cradily or Poliwrath to the year 1 roster.... Edit:Kanga is going to year 2 while Baltoy's year 1 now,I've got some stuff that might work...
