  1. I think she will have a Victini as well, Victory Star is just too broken. I tried looking into Milotic but it just ended up too passive to properly fit her playstyle, even with Marvel Scale. The Doom Desire is definetely very good, but it is pretty nerfed by the fact that it's part Fire now, since Fire and Water types can take it fairly decently still, especially ones with Flash Fire.
  2. Growth is already boosted on her field, Chlorophyll is already activated and Cherrim is probably too weak for an E4 member. Sun also boosts Fire types even further and enables you to set the field on fire. Rain prevents this, nerfs fire types in general and allows Venusaur and Roserade to fire off Water type Weather Balls.
  3. Type Null has the same issue as Porygon: Man made Pokémon don’t fit El. Holy Field specifically makes RKS System Dark Type to indicate that technology is evil. Laura will most likely use Rain, not Sun, since it would be to easy to ignite her field otherwise. Heather and Anna will just be offensive spam that abuses their fields.
  4. He still shouldn’t have any plate whatsoever. Magical Seed gives him a free +1 Special Attack, and Normal type Judgement is 2.8125x stronger than any other Judgement Drampa could use. It doesn’t need to run any moves other than Nature Power and Focus Blast. There is not a single Pokémon in the game that resists both of those moves. There is no context in which an Energy Ball does more than a Judgement. Also, I don’t understand why people assume that the E4 will be mono typed. Are you really not expecting El to abuse Delphox on this field? Or Sigilyph? And quite frankly, no physical attackers really fit El’s aesthetic, nor do they benefit from the terrain.
  5. I don't see a reason for the E4 to be monotyped. They aren't like the gym leaders where there is 1 of each, they are just strong trainers. They aren't really specified to be of a certain type, and it's too restricting this far into the game (especially for trainers like Laura and Anna who use pretty bad types to begin with). They could have a primary type, and have maybe 3 pokémon of that type, similar to the rivals or Cal, and have the rest of the team fit the aestetic while covering for weaknesses and abusing the field. A Porygon fits Noel so much better than it fits El, since Noel is more analytical. Also, I don't really see a way to make a normal type trick room team that isn't just weaker than Radomus. And Porygon2 can't hold both Amplified Rock and Eviolite, which severely limits it's support abilities. Also, I think giving Drampa the STAB Judgement is just stronger, since a Fist Plate would sacrifice the 1.5x field boost for normal type moves. STAB Judgement with 1.5x for Judgement, 1.5x for Normal type boost and STAB hits an effective 405 base power. Even if resisted, that is 204 base power. The only coverage that is really necessary is for things that 4x resist it, and the only things that do so are Aggron/Bastiodon etc., hence Focus Blast. Also, Fist Plate is a bad idea since you have to forfeit the magical seed, which gives a free +1 Choice Specs boost and Magic Coat. Dragon Pulse is also fairly redundant since not a SINGLE Pokémon resists Normal+Fighting. And it doesn't hit a single Pokémon harder besides some rock types, for which we already have Focus Blast.
  6. Her entire theme is flowers, if she has a mega it’s definetely a Venusaur. However, I don’t think she will even have one because there aren’t any megas with Chlorophyll/Overgrow/Swarm/etc.
  7. Idk. It doesn’t really fit his style. And I also really doubt the E4 will be normal type. I agree on the Drampa and Audino, Oranguru is fine I guess but Porygon is just a bad fit. It’s a man made computer, doesn’t really fit the religious extremist all that much. Something like this would fit him better, (and be more difficult): Drampa @ magicalseed Ability: Berserk EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA Modest Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Nature Power - Focus Blast - Glare - Roost Sigilyph @ magicalseed Ability: Magic Guard Shiny: Yes EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Stored Power - Dazzling Gleam - Cosmic Power - Roost Delphox @ magicalseed Ability: Blaze EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Mystical Fire - Psychic - Dazzling Gleam - Calm Mind Serperior @ Flame Plate Ability: Contrary Shiny: Yes EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Leaf Storm - Nature Power - Dragon Pulse - Glare Audino-Mega @ Audinite Ability: Healer EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Hyper Voice - Dazzling Gleam - Wish - Protect Arceus @ Lum Berry Ability: Multitype EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA Mild Nature - Judgment - Earth Power - Extreme Speed - Recover Arceus is only there in case that’s the way the story swings, otherwise it could be like a Ditto or something.
  8. I still don’t think El is all that good in doubles. I also think he will have a Drampa, but it’s best move is a single target move. And together with Focus Blast, Judgement/Focus Blast is completely unresisted. Serperior getting access to a 180 base power Fire type coverage move for Grass and Steel types. It still can’t hit Dragon types but guess what? Dragon Pulse gets boosted by the terrain. I don’t think the elite four members will be mono typed, they’ll just have Pokémon that fit their field and aesthetic. They’ll probably have a decent chunk of Pokémon that match their type, maybe 3/6, but Laura will probably have a Florges, Pelipper and Scolipede for example, along with like Lilligant, Roserade and Venusaur. Same for El, he’ll probably have something along the lines of Drampa, Ditto and Mega Audino, and then other Pokémon with religious origins, which in my opinion should be Serperior, Delphox and Sigilyph. Anna will probably have Jirachi, Gardevoir and maybe Victini or something just cuz, and then stuff like Milotic who get boosted by the terrain.
  9. I made some predictions for teams for late game fights a few months back, and my guess was Heather and Laura on doubles and El and Anna on Singles. My main reasoning was just that they functioned better that way. - Laura can set up her Garden faster in doubles and gets more use out of her support options in things like Florges and double targeting powder moves. - Heather’s flying types allow for plenty of Earthquake spam. I also think we’ll be fighting her on a mountain field, so Rock Slide will be fun. And better Tailwind is more effective. - Anna doesn’t benefit much from doubles (assuming she is fought on Starlight Arena). - El will most likely make use of Pokémon like Delphox, Serperior and Sigilyph, as they all work best as single snipers, fit his style and agent MASSIVE buffs on Holy Field (Serp gets Judgement with a flame plate or some shit lol).
