Saphira will almost certainly use Char x, it was her mother's ace and both fire and dragon get boosted from DDen. I think it would be nice to see that gargantuan steelix but maybe not on her team. Maybe the gym challenge involves using him?

This could v well be true, as the original, kid Lin, may have been accidentally killed by Dr Connal during his shock treatment, as he has some strange interest with Lin, and Laura a member of the orphanage knew Lin personally. I think she will still be pure evil, but as a result of some past tragedy.

Also with the whole type thing like obviously we will have to wait and see but im more inclined to believe that these trainers will be more like gym leaders than our rivals, cain, fern and victoria as i think making them multi type will probably be reserved for post game but we will have to wait and see!

While i think for the most part this list is quite accurate i have my own personal disagreements. I think one major difference is that these leaders will be predominantly mono types, while some changes are possible, with all the major trainers excluding rivals and people like arclight, they have leant heavily to a single type. Thus it would be strange to have heather, who was dubbed by gossip gardevoir to be the Flying elite 4 member, to be using only three flying types. The first and perhaps most obvious is El, i think that without question he will be fighting in doubles with trick room. If we look at the only other person that applies trick room, being radomus, we can see that the use of a synthetic seed on that field boosts special attack and applies magic coat. Then if we look at holy field we can see that it does the exact same thing. Furthermore, as i stated above, el will have mostly normal mons like porygon 2, snorlax, beware, drampa, audino and pangoro who all receive an exponential boost in power as a result of trick. By leading with a pangoro that cannot flinch nor me taunted with a magical seed, there is quite minimal ways to prevent the room from going up. Also you must remember this game is for everyone and most people would not thing to set up a double trick room, so i think it would be v difficult for the average player to stop this. A final note is just how much stronger, offensively his team is in doubles, take drampa for example, getting the boost from hyper voice, hitting multiple mons is just much better than barley surviving close combat from blaze and then just dying to some priory move the next turn. And uhh idk if u know but Ame has stated that Ash-Greninja is never coming to reborn, like ever so u can rule him out as being part of Anna's team. All in all pre solid list!!

Liligant, at stage 4 and up, will probably send that walrein to the shadow realm in one turn, florges would like to introduce itself to that noivern and the rain plus defence for grass types is gonna make your char and incineror kinda useless. Those little flowers are gonna have thorns so sharp there’s no way u can pick em.

I think either Laura/Bennant or El, if he is fought under trick room, will be the hardest fights, not to say that any will be easy, but those two seem like the most difficult. Also i feel as so some of us are forgetting, this is the elite four, we dont get to bring teams that perfectly counter our opponents, we bring six of our best and strategise. So if u try to bring a team that perfectly counters one member, most likely you will get smashed by another. That factor is whats gonna set these guys apart in terms of difficulty, unlike all the gym leaders, no perfect counters.

Uhh fire will not work as rain will probably be up, and poison will only bring it down to stage one. Yea, good luck tryna get rid of that field

No i dont think you are being grim at all, in fact i think what you said is totally true. From what you said think it would be smart for Ame and the devs to maybe only pick a select few, long time, trusted members to be a part of the testing team, to ensure that things dont spill. Although it would suck that most of us dont get to be a part of the testing, we would still be able to enjoy ep19 in all its glory and increase our chances of not getting hit with the N bomb.

I wonder if the Elite 4 will be fought in succession like in ruby and sapphire, or we will have the option to take on whoever we chose like in gen 5?

Yea, also ik this has been mentioned but its v likely that Lura Bennant will be a fight together where we go 12v6 as Bennett gets massive support from this terrain and Lura is just better in doubles, as her supporting role is g8.

I think its v likely that Anna uses a victini as well as a milotic due to their ability’s receiving a boost in starlight. Btw rip to any of your mons that get hit with that doom desire, holy moley thats ridiculous!

Yea so obviously no one knows for certain, but i think the common hypothesis is that we r exisiting in an alternate time line. In the original time line we die in the train crash, fern is hero but eventually fails to stop Lin and new world is formed. But at some point before new world is conceived Anna wishes on Jirachi to go back in time to stop this. (This much is supported by Miss Direction's prophecy and Ame’s post). However, while everyone else goes back in time, two people become trapped in between those two being the taciturn person wearing red, who is stated to exist by Miss Direction and Ame in her post, and Lin that being the child Lin that Laura describes she once new. How these people become trapped, we don’t know, but what we do know is that as a result they gain access to unbelievable power (Which makes me believe that it may have something to do with Arceus ), as this person in red and black becomes Shade who can do all type of crazy stuff, and Lin is able to manifest her ego into an invincible 'robot'. This is supported by Lin's seemingly all-knowing nature, she knew that we were not in meteor, she knew exactly when we would arrive at Tit's castle, she knows all of these things because every new timeline, Anna wishes to be reborn but Lin and Shade are not leaving them to witness the same events repeat themselves. However Shade attempts to alter history and prevent new world by changing the present, this is done through saving us on the train. In this game in don’t believe we r some chosen one, rather some random guy who was supposed to die on a train, but as an attempt to change a variable, Shade elected to save us hoping that in doing so we would be able to stop Lin. Srry that was a bit rambley and long but i hope u get what im saying.

Me and @TheRK9 were actually attempting to decipher what lin is, and by reading Ame's post and a few others on the forum we came to the conclusion that the green hair, crazy strong invincible lady we see is not actually lin. That "thing" we see is most likely a manifestation of power idealised by the actual lin who is in the Citae (the voice you heard and the person Adriann saw climb the tower), who has used baby Arceus' power to create this manifestation. Obviously this is purely speculation and may be far from the truth but it makes sense as Anna could not see green hair lin, as she has no soul, and it would explain how even if she died, like she did in Shade's gym, it wouldn’t t be considered death as she was never alive.

I must say that Ame and co have done a ridiculously exceptional job in providing us with enough info to roughly speculate on the final events while withholding enough info so that nobody actually knows exactly whats gonna happen. It makes for great discussion and adds fuel to the hype train!!
