Also I know the V13.0.4 addressed this, but I had already answered the phone call since you were able to do that and therefore been moved back to Sashila.

if you have debug mode you can just set your money back to whatever it was before the glitch, which is what i did

it was definitely crazy diffcult; his field effect is by far the worst you come up against that far into the game. I somehow beat it with gale wings talonflame sharp beak brave bird spam, using chip damage here and there from other mons whilst trying to stall initial tailwind. Either use this guys team or run your own bird spam, thats the best ive come up with.

i thought the shields at the beginning were okay, 2 shields on a mon that was stacked felt fair especially since the stacked rift mons had some lower stat that you could exploit. late game though that is complete bullshit. the rift mons in chapters 13/14 did not deserve to have 4 full shields whilst being completely stacked. i dont know why they thought it would be fair to add more shields on later rift mons when they already made the later ones completely OP. you literally have to come up with wild cheese strategies to beat those in the end.

i found it way easier in v12 tbh, a lot of v13 has felt more difficult in terms of bosses compared to v12

im pplaying on 13.0.3 and its bugged for me with the exact same thing happening. I have 15k RE and put it all in and it keeps asking for more. Did it ever fix for you?

i love you, i didnt realise she had nothing super effective against sylveon. youve set me free from hell. To make it even easier, go out and catch a ribombee outside the town in the grass, since if you get one with sweet veil you can't get slept and it makes life a heck of a lot easier. Take it from me as someone who got never dodged a lovely kiss and got max turn sleeps everytime and burnt 20 ultra potions for free. Also you could try memento'ing at the beginning with a sash mon, but in my game i could swear memento was bugged since it didn't show -2 on her stats when you pressed 'S' on her. Hope anyone else struggling with this doesn't have to anymore.

gonna try this since im out of ideas. youre right though the angie fight and this fight have been the closest thing to me just quitting the game.

people are gonna immediately say that youre just not cut out for how hard this game is but i honestly agree with you, I've been playing this game since its first release and ive never really had difficulty issues with this game. There were the super annoying and difficult battles that were notorius in previous versions for sure, but they're weren't that many that felt impossible. V13 screwed its balance of the game so heavily, every other boss fight at minimum is so obnoxious and tediously difficult for no good reason, It's not as if they're impossible, but you're basically required to go out and train brand new mons for them, work on super cheese strats etc, They took out old useful mons giving you even less options early game which i dont understand either. But people will always defend these kind of things under the guide of it just being a hard game, but theres such a massive difference between hard and just plainly being not fun for the sake of being annoying. I would've quit ages ago, but i started playing on debug mode around Crawlis gym, not to cheat to but just to add in XP candies and repels, since who has the time to train a brand new mon for a specific strat for it to maybe work. This V13 update was great in every way except its challenge, where i think it took a huge step back in terms of balance with what it changed, I don't blame you for quitting honestly this game is a chore a lot of the time
