Alright I have another suggestion: when you're at the part of the game where you have the "Rare Candy" in your inventory, there should be an option to use it and if you do it should completely wipe your whole party and respawn you at the pokemon center, or completely give you a game over and delete all ur saves.

Will the soft/hard level caps be something we can choose at the beginning of the game? Also, the idea of a "hard" mode is preposterous given its current state, so an idea I propose is, this "hard" mode is how it right now, while the regular mode will be how you play the game with the upcoming changes. The player can choose the difficulty at the beginning of the game, Hard mode (Original) or Regular mode. Obviously the idea isn't perfect but it could be something to consider and maybe alter to make it work. If I get hit with a no, then idk sorry for wasting ur time lol.

I had a stroke trying to read most of this but I get the jist, you absolutely HATE essentials. Most of this code was bad and you made it good, thank you for improving the game so much more than anyone ever expected, it truly shows your passion and commitment to making this game great.
