Short update today, I'm afraid, due to the Audinos.
So the route on the left of the Giant Chasm is nothing too notable. The trainers are quite a bit stronger (and it makes you lol at Ghetsis), and there are some nice new items, but that's about it. It's essentially a waterfall pass (with branching paths EVERYWHERE).
At the badge check gates, however, I run into N, who goes on a bit about his own journey, and then gives me waterfall, which is needed to cross the new Victory Road.
The new badge check gates are really highly technological looking, but it goes by quickly and it doesn't leave a lasting impression. I liked the badge check gates in Black and White, and also FireRed and LeafGreen, because they gave you a bit of scenery for each badge you got, and it was cool. I feel that these gates, however, weren't all that notable. Minor nitpick, really.
So there's a couple more items and a pokemon center. I heal there, and... nobody on my team can learn Waterfall.
So I caught a Golduck to learn it, and he's gonna have to replace one of my members throughout victory road.
I do a bunch of Audino training and raise my goons (and Sunflora) up to lv55, except for Calvin, who I raised to lv57, because I'm gonna be using his slot for the Waterfall Duck, since Calvin has been pretty much heavily involved in every major battle so far.
The Audino training got a bit annoying in the past, so I didn't train my pokemon as much during this session. It still ate up a bit of my time though, so I'm afraid that's why this is short. I'll get the next part up soon, where there WILL be something notable.
