  5. So this is my first time drawing a pose that isn't still image. I have VERY mixed feelings about it: Turn your head sliightly. I FUCKING WRESTLED with that right hand. It caused me pain forever, and even in the end I couldn't even get it right. Don't even get me started on my horrible effort with the feet, too... especially the left shoe. Well, it's a milestone managing to draw new poses, though, so I guess I should be a bit happy. I get the feeling I won't do anything really dynamic for a long time, though. Oh and sometime in the next 100 years I'll get a scanner and my shading won't look non-existent... and the angle of the picture won't look sideways, either. I'm killing myself over that.
  6. My laptop audio plug hates me. Whenever I plug headphones in, only half the sound delivers through if the socket moves even HALF an inch. When I move the plug around, it either just goes back to half-sound or sometimes unplugs completely.

  13. And now for the finale! With appropriate music, of course: Now, we enter... THE POKEMON LEAGUE! I'll be doing this in clockwork order, so Shauntal, the ghost type user, is first. The presentation of the E4 rooms is different, but since I can move freely between them, it's cooler that way. Shauntal loves books... so much that she lets ghost flames cuddle them! And she also has some crazy lantern aswell. As I walk up to her, the books suddenly fall and block my escape... and the lantern is now disturbingly still. As I walk up to her, she says: "There is but one man who wanders the world with a white dragon Pokemon to search for the truth... That's part of a novel I'm writing. I want to write down the event that happened on that day... sorry, it has nothing to do with you... you're a challenger, right? I'm the Elite Four's Ghost-type Pokemon user, Shauntal, and I shall be your opponent." And so it begins! I start out with Amethyst, and she sends out a lv56 Cofagrigus... not this thing again. I land a strong Hurricane on the coffin, and it takes half his health away! Nice! His Will-O-Wisp does nothing, as Ame's a special attacker, disregarding Fly. I use Hurricane again, but it get's it first miss since I obtain it. Cofagrigus Shadow Balls me, and one more of those will finish Ame, so I hit Hurricane one more time, and it hits! Yay! That's the coffin down. Next is Drifblim, and I decide to use Voxie for this one. Shadow Ball hits for nearly half of Voxie's health, but a nice stone edge completely obliterates her Drifblim. Go Voxie! Golurk is up now, and I decide on the ever so Pimpin' Pimpin to Petal Dance it's way to glory. His Shadow Punch is hefty, considering Pimpin's lack of physical defense, but Petal Dance makes quick work of the golem. Finally, there's Chandelure! For this, I send out the snazzy Piganova, and mash Head Smash... after Psychic leaves Piganova on 9 HP, causing both sides to faint... but on the plus side, we won! I was worried Scald wouldn't have finished the job. Her finishing words are: "My pokemon and the challenger's pokemon. Everyone battled even though they were hurt... thank you." With that, I heal up, and move on to the next Elite 4 member, Grimsley. He has a friggin scary stairway, with all them claws blocking the way. As I approach him, the claws close behind me and the torches light up while Grimsley is just standing near his boring leather sofa. I guess you could say this is a "claws" for alarm! Pun aside, I walk up to him and he says: "What will be determined here is which of us can absorb the opponent's light and shine... but who will decide that? It shall be I, Grimsley of the Elite Four, and I will fulfill my duty to be your opponent." And the next round starts! ...huh, he didn't speak much. Ame's out front because for some reason I lack variety in my leading pokemon, so I just hit Surf, since his first pokemon, Liepard, isn't known for being sturdy. His fake out does little to me, and Surf hit for almost all of his health. His Night Slash gains a CRIT, and I'm left on 9 hp! Grimsley uses a full restore, but that doesn't stop me from double surfing his cat. Next up is his... well, crafty Scrafty, and I decide that I should let Edge join in the party. I head straight for the Wild Charge, and it halvens the hp of Scrafty... who, weirdly enough, uses a Rock Tomb in reply. Even with that, Edge is still faster, and finishes off... pants man. Krookodile is next, and I know that Piganova would not have fun there, so I send Calvin out, and use Swords Dance. due to the intimidate... but he's actually faster than me... and is a lucky fucker with that critting earthquake! I have to use Ame now, so I use Surf, and fortunately I'm faster, so the crocodile goes bye-bye! His last man is Bisharp, and I send out Piganova, who's Arm Thrust only takes half out of Bisharp due to two hits and the sitrus berry... and his Aerial Ace isn't nice. Fortunately, ol' Piggy (who needs to get a better fighting move) is faster, and finishes the job. Meh, flamethrower would've done better... His last words are: "Whether or not you get to fight at full strength, whether or not luck smiles on you--none of that matters. Only results matter. And a loss is a loss. See, victory shines like a bright light. And right now, you and your Pokemon are shining brilliantly." Next up is Caitlin, and this time I use Calvin as the lead for a possible long sweep. Caitlin's staircase is... made entirely out of something like... glitter. I reach the top, which is even more pwetty with glittwer :I ... and then a white flower in the middle disappears and reveals... Caitlyn... overconfidence alert. Also, floating orbiting cubes. She says: "It's me who appeared when the flower opened up. You, standing over there... you look like a Pokemon Trainer with strength and kindness. What I look for in my opponent is superb strength... I'm counting on you!" And so it begins! ...again. Remniscent of Black and White, she starts with Musharna, so I become a risk-taker and send out Calvin and use Swords Dance. Fortunately, Calvin is faster... but Musharna likes Yawning... so for payback, an X-Scissor... DOESN'T DO IT?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME WHATKINDOFTANKISTHISMUSHARNA?!!!! After healing Calvin's sleep, Caitlyn heals Musharna entirely with a full restore... I X-Scissor again, with the same result... and she yawns... again... so one more X-Scissor is that stupid Musharna's dying reward. Caitlyn sends out Reuniclus, and I take the risk of healing Calvin's sleep again. Fortunately, Calvin avoids the Reuniclus's focus blast... close call! Unfortunately, Reuniclus is as tanky as her fetus sister... and focus blast hits... and Calvin dies... AGAIN! Why does the Elite 4 hate Calvin so much? :I I send out Pimpin due to his good special defense, and Petal Dance finishes the annoying jelly off. Now it's Sigilyph, and I have Voxie ready to combat it. Psychic doesn't take out even half of Voxie's health, which is good because Stone Edge MISSES... after another Psychic, stone edge actually hits, and finishes the annoying Avianoid off. Finally, it's Gothitelle, and I just go with Edge, because why not. Wild Charge, unfortunately, doesn't even take half of the Gothitelle out, so I just let Edge do what he can with another wild charge before stupid Gothitelle finishes it off.. and to top it off, heals some of the damage with a Sitrus Berry. I decide to let Pimpin finish the job again, and Petal Dance does it rightfully so. All she says is: "You haven't finished off all the Elite 4 member yet, have you? Don't worry about me and go on." Meh. You were annoying anyway. Finally in the Elite 4, it's Marshall. His arena opens up and a metal staircase opens up for me. At the top, Marshall's platform falls down at a surprising speed, making him look rather intimidating. He says: "You look familiar... ah, yes. I met you at Twist Mountain. The strength you are radiating is far greater now than before! Greetings, challenger. My name is Marshal. I am the No. 1 pupil of my mentor, Alder. In order to master the art of fighting, I've kept training. You're also walking a similar path with your pokemon. It is my intention to test you--to take you to the limits of your strength. Kiai!" (Bruno's Hoo-ah! is better.) Anyway, it begins on his side with Throh, and mine with Edge. I was expecting him to use Mienshao first so Psychic would suffice... but surprisingly not! It doesn't even take half of his health, but neither does his Bulldoze (I question why GameFreak didn't let everyone go loose with Earthquake instead)... however, it DOES lower my speed... but Edge is still a lot faster. He then uses Rock Tomb over Bulldoze as I use a flamethrower to deter his health over the halfway point... so we basically have the same goal here! Using this to my advantage, I heal Edge while his Throh uses... payback? I was right to have healed, because when finishing him with Psychic, I actually am slower than him at this point! I decide to man-mode it with Edge when he sends out Mienshao next... and his Hi Jump Kick misses and Psychic beats it! Nice! Anyway, next is Conkeldurr, but I STILL keep Edge in... ...and then Conkeldurr beats Edge with Hammer Arm before I do anything. Not my best idea. I decide to go for Piganova, and I use Scald in the hopes of burning him; but no. AND HIS HAMMER ARM LANDS A CRIT!! This is not fun. I decide to just finish the job with Amethyst. Hurricane beats up the pillar man, and then comes Sawk. At this point, I'm not too bothered, so I just surf Sawk, being aware of Sturdy (by the way, Sawk actually closely resembles Marshall... minus the muscle fat). We hit each other both for half our health, but Amethyst is faster, so another Surf finishes off Sawk. His final words are: "Now... you have become the strongest trainer in this Pokemon League. The statue in the central chamber will take you to the Champion's room." That was it? ...huh. Anyway, it's time to go to the central chamber! It takes me to the same hall as in the first game, and I walk up a long set of pillars. In the giant hall at the top, there's a central pyramid which I walk up. In the background, there is a dragon statue and a little constellation circle on the wall. Nice touch. But more importantly, standing there is... Iris! I walk up to her, and she says: "Welcome, challenger!" With that, the lights go up. "I've been waiting for this!" "Know what? I really look forward to having serious battles with strong trainers! I mean, come on! The trainers who make it here are trainers who desire victory with every fiber of their being! And they are battling alongside Pokemon that have been through countless difficult battles! If I battle with people like that, not only will I get stronger, my Pokemon will, too! And we'll get to know each other even better! OK! Brace yourself! I'm Iris, the Pokemon League Champion, and I'm going to defeat you!" With that, some strange battle music plays: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tV8ZXxypHws Uh... this is the champion, right? I let Edge and Iris's Hydreigon have a staredown while I frantically search for an at least somewhat suitable image for the champion... ...to no avail. Well, I guess her theme is catchy, and suits her. Anyway, since Edge happens to be first out, I let loose with an Ice Punch! It actually gets a crit, but even them it doesn't fall! Because of this, Iris uses an annoying full restore, and the next Ice Punch doesn't even take half of Hydreigon out! Unfair... thankfully, I'm faster, so I get one more in... and Edge survives the next Dragon Pulse with 15 hp! The next Ice Punch finishes off Hydreigon... and ironically with a crit, too! A MOTHERFUCKING AGGRON APPEARS FROM HER TEAM NEXT, and Piganova decides to combat this mighty beast... I know Scald will be A LOT more effective than stupid Arm Thrust (come on GameFreak), so I use that instead. Over half of Aggron's health is taken, and then he Automotizes... oh god, DON'T DIE PIGANOVA! ...and then she withdraws Aggron and sends out Lapras... with Water Absorb. Smart move, I'll confess. So I switch back out to Pimpin, who takes the Surf very nicely. In the worry of Ice Beam, I use Giga Drain on Lapras, after NARROWLY avoiding a nasty Sing, and take over half of Lapras's health again. The next time, Sing hits... not this again. I use an Awakening on Pimpin, and then she annoyingly uses Ice Beam... now Pimpin' is doomed. Bye, Pimpin! I now send out Calvin to finish off the annoying Lapras. I'm worried about the stat drop from Close Combat, but then realize she'll probably send out something smart next, so I take out Lapras. Surely enough, next up is Druddigon, and I decide to use good ol' Voxie to tank it head-on... buuuuuuuuuuuuut it has Head Smash. What fun, everyone! Not. Now my Iron Defense was useless. I use a hyper potion, praying that Druddigon will miss... and he uses... flamethrower. Huh. Unfortunately, Focus Blast can still wreck me, so I hyper potion again, because I don't want Voxie's efforts to go to such waste! Nooooooooo! Now Druddigon is sick of me, and just Dragon Tails me to Piganova... for some reason it loses some of it's hp! This only happened when he used Dragon Tail... what happened that hurt him? I decide to let Piganova stick around, so I stupidly use Flamethrower. He isn't letting that "Rock Slide". AHASHHSAHAHA-no. Anyway, I use Scald, now that I know what he's going to use, and he burns himself! With this opportunity, I use another flamethrower, which finishes him off! She sends out Aggron again, and now I can finish the job and Scald him again. Thanks, Druddigon! I gain FOUR THOUSAND exp from that Aggron... so that's saying something. Now she send out a lv59 Haxorus, and I stay in the hopes of scalding it. Unfortunately, he's faster, and Earthquakes Piganova to death. Awww...... Now I send out Amethyst and press Ice Beam. It goes first, and with a crit... LEAVES HAXORUS ON ABOUT 5 HP! He then dragon dances, and out speeds Amethyst and dual chops it to oblivion! Sorry, Ame! I send out the low health Edge, knowing it can finish Haxorus off... but Haxorus is faster than him too!! Now I use Voxie in hopes of tanking the hit... but he uses Earthquake... AND VOXIE LIVES ON 8 HP! Rejoice, as Haxorus falls to Rock Slide! Her final pokemon is Archeops (cool!), and I stay in so I can let Voxie use a Max Revive on Edge, since my only other living pokemon is Calvin. This has been a tough battle! Archeops finishes off Voxie with Dragon Claw, and I decide to be amusing and see what Calvin can do... even if it's just a normally effective Close Combat. Archeops uses a Rock Slide and flinches Calvin. Thanks a bunch... Archeops finishes off poor Calvin, who didn't even make it to lv58! WHY DOES THE POKEMON LEAGUE HATE CALVIN?! Jerks QQ I send out Edge, but not before the dodo CRITS him and finishes him off! But spoilers! I used a Max Revive on Voxie during Calvin's last breath. This is all or nothing! Will Voxie live through Archeops?! Yup. Rock Slide doesn't even take half of Voxie... and it flinches him. Another one misses! Hah, you've ran out of luck, Iris. Voxie finishes the team with a nice Stone Edge. Great job, Voxie! And with that, epic victory music plays, and I win against Iris by the skin of my fucking teeth. "By having a serious battle, you and your Pokemon, and me and my Pokemon, we all got to know one another better than before! Yep, we sure did! Let's go!" And the constellations go crazy, line up and make the dragon statue fall down. A staircase to a hole inside the constellation painting opens up. Then Iris just pushes me all the way up to it. We enter the boring Hall of Fame, and with that, we have beaten the main story of White 2! As the credits roll, I just want to say, that I'm sorry I put this on such a long hiatus. I fell away from pokemon at one point due to other games, and now I'm back and finished it off, which I'm glad for. I guess playthroughs aren't really my style, so don't expect more in the future, I say. And no, I'm not doing post game content. I plan to restart this file, play White 2 fresh and experience this game the whole way through! It was fun, Piganova, Pimpin, Voxie, Edge, Calvin and Amethyst! Each pokemon in the hall of fame pops up with a background for it's primary type, by the way. Cool! And... now I've unlocked... easy mode! Hell no. I want to do the link thing and do the new file on CHALLENGE mode (I don't care about N's pokemon, okay?)! Anyway, I thought White 2 was a good game! I felt it was better than the original Black and White, aswell. The story was fresh, almost as dark as the stories in the Orre Games (Colosseum and XD), and it didn't interfere with the battle with the Pokemon League! The nice spread of pokemon from different regions was nice, although I felt that there were too many missing from the original Unova. Also, I find Iris to be a bit weird for a champion, because she's technically still a kid and acts like one, but hell, she was TOUGH, so that's fine with me. So yeah, I enjoyed this game! I don't want to elaborate TOO much on it here, though. Anyway, that's it from me during this playthrough, goodbye, and may me and the final team member stats bid you farewell! Final team member stats: Piganova (Emboar) Lv58 Moves: Arm Thrust, Head Smash, Flamethrower, Scald Piganova was our decently bulky powerhouse with power in both physical and special attack! Huh. Piganova didn't level up during the whole of the Pokemon League, even though it did pretty good there. Scald was an excellent asset, but Arm Thrust... c'mon, GameFreak. Amethyst (Swanna) Lv60 Moves: Ice Beam, Fly, Hurricane, Surf Amethyst was our swift, specially based attacker bird. Jeez, Ame fought a lot of stuff in the Pokemon League; she ended up being lv60! Definetely the biggest contributor, and Hurricane had some great offensive power (if horrendous accuracy). Voxie (Gigalith) Lv59 Moves: Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Iron Defense, Explosion Voxie was our giant wall with just as much physical offense as defense. Eh, I wish I got to use explosion, but all is well. Voxie was probably 2nd in contribution, behind Ame, and definetely did a good job finishing off Iris. Pimpin' (Sunflora) Lv59 Moves: Giga Drain, Growth, Leech Seed, Petal Dance Pimpin was our prime special attacker and decent special wall, and packed a PUNCH! Pimpin didn't do all that much during the Pokemon League, but it had it's moments. Petal Dance is NOT to be messed with, on no account. Edge (Electivire) Lv59 Moves: Flamethrower, Psychic, Wild Charge, Ice Punch Edge was pretty much an all-rounder in terms of stats, but physical power and speed are particularly notable. Edge did quite a lot to help out in the last battles, and it's coverage was very nice too. He suffered through some generally entertaining clutch moments, too! Calvin (Zangoose) Lv57 Moves: Swords Dance, Strength, Close Combat, X-Scissor Calvin was our speedy, all for nothing physical beast, who could set up sweeps if lucky enough. Oh, Calvin. Poor, poor, poor Calvin. Your last level up was before Victory Road, and I just want to hug you and cry now ;_; Oh well, you definetely proved how awesome you were during this adventure. There is some great offensive power in you. Well, that's it from me! Have a good evening/morning/afternoon/wherever the hell you are!

  18. For some reason, it's strange. It's like I see you all the time, and I also barely ever see you. You're a generally nice person, and I have nothing against you whatsoever, but I also feel like you're a bit reclusive; nothing wrong with that, but's it ok to open up sometimes... so we should talk more! or am I just being mistaken about everything again

  21. Victory Road was tough; I'll admit, Lv55 was the maximum level of the pokemon of any normal trainer in there, but it was still tough (that and they landed a ton of critical hits). Ok, so I'm gonna describe Victory Road itself, since the trainers aren't all that much to talk about. The first area seems to be bridges that made N's castle in the old games; which is very nice for a throwback to black and white again; after some research it turns out that this new victory road is built ON TOP of N's Castle (which explains why everything looks so godamn different from the old victory road)! There are so many branching paths, and they all contain hidden items and trainers; thankfully, I managed to go through all of them, one of which included a path guarded by a Zoroark; I heard that area houses the Regi legendaries. But the main things I want to describe is what happened at the end of victory road. The last thing to block me is ol' Janny, the silly rival. He challenges me, with only 4 pokemon, which seems a bit weak, and thankfully I predicted he would send out Unfezant first, so I had Voxie in the lead. However, he ends up U-Turning out, and facing Voxie with a Bouffalant, who then loses half of it's health to a nice stone edge. "I saw that attack coming from miles away!" Keep talking, Janny. Keep talking. So he thinks one earthquake is enough to down Voxie; nope. Voxie finishes off the silly bull. Now he's gonna send out the big daddy, Samurott, and I use Pimpin' against it. He has X-SCISSOR of all things, but thankfully it doesn't KO Pimpin' (because y'know, he's a Sunflora!), and then a insanely strong petal dance finishes of Samurott. Now it's back to Unfezant, and Voxie still has definetely enough to take a hit, so I send it out and press the Rock Slide like a maniac; and then he U-Turns again. Sheesh, this guy is paranoid! Of course, Simisage is the result of the switch, so I can't really use Voxie for this one. I send out Emboar instead. He wastes the turn with a max potion, so I take the liberty of crushing that HP Bar again with a flamethrower. With your rival, it's really just a matter of typing. So he finally sends out Unfezant again! Voxie can STILL take one more hit, so I send her out for the third time, and then Rock Slide will finish the Janny duel... But he lands a crit... and leaves Voxie on 10 hp! I use a healing item, gritting Rock Slide's miss, and then I do it again. Thankfully the pigeon stays put. And then he gives us thunderbolt! Would've been handy if I could actually teach it to another member. Exiting victory road, the entrance to the entrance (y'know, THAT entrance) is exactly the same as the one in Black and White, except there was some landslide and now you can't slide down the cliffs... :< With that, I make it to the Pokemon League, which also hasn't changed on the outside! That's it for today's semifinal episode! The final episode will be out... sometime soon, where we face the elite 4! ...and the champion. Curent Stats: Just a quick note, I made use of the TMs I had gained, so movesets may be... unfamiliar. Piganova (Emboar) Lv58 Moves: Arm Thrust, Head Smash, Flamethrower, Scald The nickname "Screw Shiz" was really starting to annoy me. It just felt stupid. "Piganova" gives Emboar some class. That aside, Scald over Heat Crash was nice! It helped against the physical attackers who love ground moves... all the Golurks... Amethyst (Swanna) Lv58 Moves: Ice Beam, Fly, Hurricane, Surf Heh, I wasn't actually aware that Swanna could learn Hurricane! It's definetely far stronger than Air Slash. Regardless, Ame seemed to be in good condition in this run... almost everyone had a faint or injury, but Ame didn't suffer much. Voxie (Gigalith) Lv57 Moves: Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Iron Defense, Explosion "Voxie wants to learn Explosion." HELL. YES. DEFINETELY! Well, regardless, Voxie's proven to still be a great physical presence, and I only plan to use Explosion in desperate situations. Pimpin' (Sunflora) Lv58 Moves: Giga Drain, Growth, Leech Seed, Petal Dance Talking seriously here, Pimpin's most likely ran out of moves to learn at this point; growth doesn't feel all that strong, but it does give me an extra little boost, and Petal Dance is seriously FAR too strong. The low speed and defense of pimpin might get to me, but thankfully it has a nice special defense stat, so Sunflora still serves me very well. Edge (Electivire) Lv58 Moves: Flamethrower, Psychic, Wild Charge, Ice Punch Edge now has some pretty insane coverage. Psychic and Flamethrower were in my TM case along with Scald for Piganova, so I couldn't pass those two by, and then further through victory road I got Wild Charge, which replaced Thunderbolt. Since Edge has about 20 more attack than special attack, that and Ice Punch will definetely hit hard. Calvin (Zangoose) Lv57 Moves: Swords Dance, Strength, Close Combat, X-Scissor Poor, poor Calvin. Didn't get to do anything during this episode because of one path in victory road that required waterfall, and another with flash. Thankfully, Golduck the HM Duck worked fine.
  22. So, if anyone here actually most likely not plays ranked, what are your thoughts on the new elo system? Because I've heard a very mixed discussion on it, and I only know basic facts such as the tiering and your actual elo now being hidden.
  23. The name he had was [Silver] Dark Pit... Cmon Miku :<
  24. On a side note, this happened in Colosseum, in a very shabby building that could collapse easily. Earthquake defies all logic in pokemon anyway, as does Surf, Dive and Whirlpool outside water.
